Cogdal Vineyards

Very nice people in a beautiful setting. The outdoor seating is perhaps the best I've experienced in this area. Reasonable prices for the tasting: $5 for three and $10 for six, and the bottle prices are pretty good as well. I drink only white wine and they had a broad range from a very dry to sweet, though they are mostly dry or semi-dry. I bought two bottles of their semi-dry Riesling which I thought was as good as any I've had in Michigan. I got to talk to the owner and winemaker himself, something you don't get to do at larger wineries.

This place was super relaxing and had a homey feel. The workers were very hospitable. It was a perfect area for us to try the wine and eat the snacks that were comparable to the wine. We dressed up and had a great time! The wine was great and we bought a few bottles. Thanks for the great experience.

Amazingly delicious wine - we liked each of our 6 samples - and as a result ordered 2 glasses with local goat cheese and crackers to maintain our smiles. The setting is lovely, the staff so helpful and a must do if you are wandering the lakeshore (or simply in the area). Highly recommended.

What a delight! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were warmly greeted from the minute we walked in! The wine was delicious and the views beautiful! We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the large patio that had plenty of seating options. I would definitely recommend it!

2nd time there and it didn't disappoint. Bought 24 bottles,mixed the sweet red and sweet white. Very professional staff and super cool winery out in the middle of nowhere. Hopefully we won't run out for awhile. It's about 1hr 55min drive.

We were greeted at this vineyard by a warm and friendly woman. We enjoyed talking about the history of the vineyard and her wine suggestions. They were very accommodating to our needs-they even turned on the outside heater for us! The vineyard is beautiful and the drive to the actual tasting building is so scenic! We are from out of state and felt right at home at this vineyard!

Stopped here for a quick tasting on our way to GR. Beautiful property and building. They were super inviting and knowledgeable. Wines were great, we bought 3 bottles. We will definitely return when we come back to Michigan!

Best vineyard we visited on the wine trail! Tastings were cheap and they offered food, plus you can bring in your own food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Plus, the wine was amazing. We will definitely come back again.

Brought our dog on the patio and had a great time overlooking this beautiful vineyard! Staff were very friendly and the wine was great! Both the “North Beach” and the “South Beach” were delicious. Favorite winery on the wine trail

Enjoyed this place immensely. It rained while camping and we were looking for a place to escape with our dog. This place allowed dogs on the patio. We stayed here for 4 hours and enjoyed the view and the wine. The manager (guy) was super nice and friendly. Will return if we come back to south haven.

Do not skip this winery! The wine is great and so is the atmosphere of the tasting room.

My wife and I had a great time visiting Gogdal. The staff was great - took their time, chatted with us, talked about the other wineries in the area and even gave us a quick tour in the back to show us their bottling and corking.

Will be back. The most laid back, relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The wine is amazing. They offer treats on the house to pair with your wine choices. Definitely a place to return to. Absolutely loved it.

Wednesday nights at the Vineyard listening to music. Bring a picnic to go with a wonderful glass of wine.

I love this winery they have great prices and awesome wine and the owners Jack and Deb are friendly and very outgoing. Good place to sit and enjoy some wine.

My brother and his girlfriend and I went here last weekend for the first time and loved it. I think her name was Sue she took very good care of us and was really down to earth we are recommending this place to our friends to go visit. We will be going back.

Cozy setting offering a great variety of vibrant wines. The goat cheese spread is tasty and our server, Anna, was wonderful!
