I brought my husband to the emergency room after he developed a rare immune mediated neurological disease that resulted in him losing his ability to walk. The ED provider quickly identified that he needed a higher level of care and transferred him quickly. He then began receiving PT & OT weekly at KSB which helped him regain his ability to walk. The PT & OT staff were AMAZING and went above and beyond to meet his care needs. We will never forget the great care they provided.

Recently was admitted to labor and delivery earlier than expected… but thank god I was. Thank you to my OB for pushing for me to be induced even though it was completely against what I wanted. Thanks to her me and my baby are alive and well! Thank you to the doctor that delivered my baby for being so kind and compassionate! I would say majority of the nurses I had during my stay were AMAZING! I was in terrible pain at one point
and my nurse fought for me to get the epidural before starting pitocin. I am so thankful for her! So kind, and I felt she truly care about me. I will also never forget the nurse that helped deliver my baby! That whole morning she informed me of what was going on and talked to me about anything I needed. At that point I wasn’t comfortable cause baby was coming soon, but she tried her best getting me comfortable till my baby came. I felt I was annoying her, she never showed that one bit! She cared for me like I was her own! Thank you so so much L&D staff! My baby and I are happy and healthy at home! 🩵🩵

We were extremely impressed with Dr. Gumbiner!! He is very personable and was determined to find the reason for all the pain my husband has been suffering with for quite some time. My husband had surgery on his sural nerve and Dr. Gambiner found something unexpected which he felt was the cause of the nerve damage. The staff was excellent!

On February 17th 2024 my friend Jacob Blei was on comfort care. He was treated really well the nurses and the CNAs were very awesome keeping him at comfort. I wasn't leaving his side and they treated me well too. Sadly my friend passed away on February 18th, 2024. Thank You to all that had helped him.

I cant speak for the rest of the hospital, but i recently attended KSB for my 1st pregnancy and was so thankful for the wonderful staff onboard with the OB department. My nurses were all lovely for my check ups, they were communicative and super friendly and prompt with care. And my Doctors, Courtney Duffy who oversaw my pregnancy and Dana Hoffman, who was oncall to deliver my baby, were amazing. They both made me feel informed and comfortable through the whole process. I would like to specially thank my attending nurse durring my labor, Amy, who did everything she could to make me comfortable and worked hard to get my epidural when I could no longer stand the pain. She really made the excrutiating process a positive experience. I dont know that i could look back on my labor happily if it werent for her. Thanks to KSB I had a great pregnancy and would go back again for any other pregnancies I have.

I always recommend KSB ER as it is clean and safe. Ive been coming here and bringing my kids here for over 20 years. My husband had a sudden illness and we came to KSB. The nurse took us right back to a room and everyone was very attentive and compassionate. Tests and labwork were done almost immediately. The ER DR was pretty quick and told my husband he would be admitted. Pain medication took awhile and wasnt given to him until he was transferred to ICU. Which is upsetting. Not every patient is drug seeking. ICU was a positive experience. Vinnie RN took good care of all of us. It was quiet and just very good care. Next we are moved to the 4th floor at 10pm. My husband has a splitting headache and unable to sleep for the past two days and hes in a room where the blinds don't close. The blinds are built into the glass, and the sun was blinding this morning. Staff has placed work orders multiple times and we are one of many patients placed into this room. We have taped up bed pads to help block the sun. The door also doesnt latch so that is annoying to hear EVERYTHING in the hall. I have placed a trash can against the door to keep it closed. The MANY staff members in and out of this room is crazy. Medical staff is important of course but we have Dietary and the Dietician, Respiratory, some guy emptying sharps containers, another man buffing the floor. Radiology come to take him and he hadnt even had his medication to have the MRI. Clustering care and possibly better communication between departments would be beneficial. The Dr rounding today was by far the most attentive and aggressive and with minimal results, Its nice to have someone making sure youre taken care of. He has adjusted pain medication and given other medication to ensure my husband is as comfortable as he can be. In healthcare you need to help others and make their experience here as positive as it can possibly be. The quality of care and staff attitude is huge. Fix the things that need to be fixed BEFORE putting patients in here. Room 441 needs assistance. The curtain for privacy is falling off... the bedside table is hard to move and the top is pealing off. Just makes our good experience not so good and it couldve been addressed pretty easily. Rooms should be checked out before admitting patients. My 5 stars is because some AMAZING people work here and treat patients how they would want to be treated.

From checking in to discharge it was a calming and personal experience. Deb at the front desk was a delight and RN Nick was so kind and Dr. Sauerberg was thorough, kind, informative and reassuring. He took the time to really listen to our needs, answer all questions and include us as parents on the decisions being made for our sons care. I’ve never experienced this at an ED before and cannot thank them enough

I don't do this "too" often, but the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff in the ER were absolutely wonderful. I understand everyone has different experiences, but I can't believe the negative reviews I've seen. They were nothing but kind to me. Remember what they have to go through on a daily basis. Have some empathy, they will do so in return. It was a pleasure meeting them and all they did was wanted to help, just like every person that comes through those doors.

Came into er immediately after having a major heart attack at 41 years old. Dr. Hanif and his team saved my life. The care was top notch. Upon entering an ER room I was reassured I was going to be well taken care of and I was. Thank you KSB.

Today was my 1st time as a patient at KSB. I was very impressed with the exceptional personalized care, empathy from all of the nurses, my new 🦶 MD and their admin / reg staff are such lovely humans!! Special shout outs to Dr Brandon Gumbiner, Sara Kubick, DPM, and Nurse Kennedy for making the toe procedure a positive experience (I was initially so scared / ready for a painful visit). My visit at the ksb Podiatry clinic was so much better than I could hope for and exceeded beyond my expectations! We even made it fun by bonding over our shared luv of T-Swift 🎶 and stories of fond adventures in Colorado! :) I highly recommend making the choice to see the KSB team for any 🦶 issues.

Took my husband to the ER on 4/27/2022. They immediately took it seriously (Unlike another local hospital) and started him on the path to feeling better.
The staff was caring and compassionate while caring for him. We are moving all of our care the KSB. Thank you!

I went to their E.R. tonight, and they got me quickly, and ran the tests I needed. Managed my pain and fever quickly and also got me the medicine I've been needing to get better that none of the hospitals I went to this past week did. It's been a very trying 2 weeks for me medically, and I'm so grateful they had a staff who were able to get me taken care of. Very friendly, helpful staff. Thank you for helping me feel better!

My recent, and past experiences at KSB facilities and hospital have been really excellent. My most recent experience was having to go to the emergency room and then later was admitted. From start to finish I felt heard, was treated compassionately, and felt surrounded by a professional, educating, and solution focused team. If you are looking for a physician, Dr. E. Bocker would be a smart choice. All that being said, I had emergency services, an x-ray, a cat scan, and respiratory care and all departments provided speedy and thoughtful services. The CNA's brought comfort and cheer to my room daily. Finally, if you are looking for quality care, I don't think you can go wrong at KSB.

I guess the reason most people feel the need to write a review is when their experience has been something less than perfect, hence the negative reviews for this hospital. My experience was quite the opposite, though. The facility was modern and spotless. The staff was pleasant and professional. I was well taken care of, and my procedure went off without a hitch. All in all my entire experience with KSB was as good or better than any hospital I've ever been in, and was everything I'd hoped for and more.

I wish I could have brought my doctor with me when I moved. I only saw the ob/gyn office but the doctors here were amazing. They did for me exactly what was needed. They found things that the doctor I switched from refused to even test for. Dr. Rob is fantastic. He has an amazing bedside manner and he actually cares about his patients. He listened to my concerns and addressed them. I need someone like him where I moved to.

From the moment I called to make sure they took my insurance (they do) to the time we left, everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I chose to try KSB because I was worried Rockford would be too busy. After a short wait at KSB all my tests were done and I was out of there. Thanks for a great experience!

My husband Carl had his colonoscopy today with Dr Mustafa when asked if he had any questions Carl said could you look at my ankle with an apparent bite of some kind. Dr Mustafa left and got ahold of Dr. Gumbiener podiatrist who just finished surgery. He came to the recovery room with his 3rd year student and immediately went into action. Lanced the bite dressed it and prescribed an antibiotic. Dr. Mustafa even checked back to see how everything went. Couldn’t ask for better doctors or service. Thank you to all who helped.
