Erin Walsh was assigned as the GAL to represent my three children and their best interest. Attorney Walsh is difficult to reach and you will need to set up appointments for some, but not all communication. Sometimes her colleague comes to court on her behalf. This is not a negative by any means. Erin Walsh has many, many cases she is responsible for. One cannot expect her to be reachable 24/7. Also, emergencies happen and she will need to send someone in her place (severe harm and an emergency new court appearance for a client she has may be the cause of having to send someone else for a certain case). I was so scared going through this process but she immediately put me at ease. She is so very kind and knows the law extremely well. She did an unbelievably thorough investigation. I was so nervous for my children to be questioned and spoken to without a parent present but my children expressed to me afterwards that she was very nice and they liked her a lot. Erin Walsh responded to emails quickly if it required a response. In every decision she made, it was apparent she had my children's best interest in mind. Most importantly my children were never treated as "another client". To this day I still have no clue if she liked me as a person and that's is very important. She took not my side, not the father's side but the kids side. She sifted through facts and evidence. I can't say enough nice things about her and the firm including Meghan bolte.

Erin Walsh assisted my family with an adoption. After another local attorney was unable to complete the task, Erin was able to quickly correct errors and compete the process. She has timely communication and clearly explains the legal process and her plan of action. We would absolutely recommend Erin for any family law needs.

She is extremely knowledgeable with regards to family law and out strategized the opposing attorney on my family law case every step of the way. Going through a divorce is probably the most vulnerable you can feel when your possessions, parenting time, etc. are in the hands of the court. She spent an absorbent amount of time educating me throughout the divorce on the process and court rulings. She was extremely responsive when I had questions or concerns, she was understanding, compassionate and made me feel like I was her only client. That is exactly what I needed during a time in my life when emotions and life changes were at its peak. Erin is extremely professional and worked hard to keep my expectations reasonable. She is well like by other attorneys and the court staff, which made it easier to get things done in a timely manner. I could not have chosen someone better to represent my case. As someone going through the GAL process with a different attorney I would advise people to understand it is in the best interest of the child. Stop blaming others for poor parenting or behavior. Time to review your parenting rather than the appointed GAL that you don’t agree with.
