Play fantastic park with something for everyone. We often come here to run cross-country and there are two different bridges that go across the creek so you can run the hill on the south side of the creek as well as the hill on the North side. We also have a meet here every year in the fall to finish off the season.

Nice small park for the kids or runners. Pretty short loop of maybe .5 mile. The horseshoe range has fallen under disrepair and needs to have the grass cut. It has its own bathroom as well although it might be locked. The patio area might be nice for a birthday party given the global pandemic right now.

Beautiful old city park infused with memories of time gone by. A paved walking path forms a circle around a couple baseball diamonds a pavilion available for rental, basketball courts, and a quiet serene space to get away from the regular workaday life. Our family used to book this pavilion one day annually for family reunions at the pavilion and enjoy a great time outside. We always came here because of its central location (to members of our family) and the fact that it has a permanently-placed horseshoe game setup a few paces behind the pavilion. Lots of good memories playing horseshoes as a kid with our old-timers.

A great forested park with baseball diamonds, basketball courts, and a paved walking path. We held our family reunions here because they have horseshoes out behind the pavilion. It's so secluded you can barely hear any road nose.

This is a very nice park it has baseball diamonds and a tennis court. There is a small play ground for younger children. You can bring your dog but you must have the dog on a leash. There is a half mile track around the park and you could walk over to the twin sisters hill. They also have public restrooms

Very beautiful park! So many spots that you can rent for parties and the price to rent is super cheap. I had my sons baptism party here and it was perfect! They have a very nice and clean play park for the kids.

Love walking there. Just wish distance markers were available.
Guessing 2 full circles (each circle is .43 mile)
+ 1/4 a circle and back to car is 1 mile.

I love dalquist park so much. Everyone comes here to enjoy the picnic dome, play sports, and let their children play at the park. Twin sisters, on the other side of the creek, is where the Erabs (East High,) occasionally practice their sports teams, and in the winter time, is where many people go sledding. Dalquist is one of the most classic parks in Rockford, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, and natural scene.

Everyone loves dalquist for anything from casual basketball, baseball meets, and family fun. Dalquist is a huge part of our local community. Twin sister hills are part of dalquist on the other side of the creek. We like to sled there in the winter time.
