Gibb's has doing my families taxes for at least 25+ years. We don't live close by anymore so we mail ours in. Connie is who does ours for us, she is the second generation to work/own this business. Her prices are always fair, she works hard to always get us the maximum refund, and we are able to call with our questions. I recently had a question about doing my taxes in a way I had never done before. She was very straight forward about what I needed, what I could and couldn't do but was still very pleasant and helpful. Our family has, and will continue to use them for years to come! They were nearly six months late with filing my taxes! I gave them my taxes in late Feb last year, and then I moved overseas. I had to come home unexpectedly a few months later in early June, and they still weren't finished. They told me that everything was fine and that they filed for an extension. After a month, I was busy with work, and when I checked again, they said that they filed for a second extension.

When they finally finished, I didn't get a discount or an apology. But do you know what I did get? $546.00 in late fees from Uncle Sam. Sure, maybe Gibbs filed for an extension, but they didn't tell me that the extensions were denied. When I tried to report the issue, the IRS said that it's my responsibility.

People, please avoid these unprofessional, disorganized pseudo-Christians.

Connie was so rude and unprofessional towards me. Because I am not getting a huge amount of money back she felt the need to call me and tell me I wasted her time and not to come back to her for business. I would not waste my time with this rude small owned business. My taxes was not enough to cover her fee of 120 so she assumed I can't pay her the fee for filing my taxes and didn't even process them for me. Completely unprofessional. I will make sure to tell everyone how rude she is.

Super unprofessional Esther never picks up and holds your documents hostage. Rude and never answers the phone. Terrible business horrible service. Her husband answers the phone doesn’t know what he’s doing and doesn’t know how to help in anyway. Both of them are awful.

Esther never picks up the phone and she wont provide us with our own tax information. Worst service ever

Out of all the years I know I should have gotten some return, I've never received one along with my parents who have been getting gyped by them for YEARS and they overcharge to do your taxes...glad i went to JM tax

After 4 months of waiting for return, no one has told me anything about my return. When I call to try and find out staff and management are very rude and unprofessional.
