Evans Towne Center Park

Great public park located in the heart of Evans, GA. The park features the Lady Antebellum amphitheater which is home to many live events, a dog park for pet owners to bring their dogs, a large playground for kids, and there is currently an ice skating rink available for people of all ages to go skate. Plenty of paved paths for walking, running, biking, or skating, as well as multiple picnic areas for you to sit down and eat. During the winter the concession stand opens up to sell snacks and drinks, such as hot chocolate. There is plenty of parking available around the park as well an electric charging station for electric cars such as Teslas. There is a public bathroom and water fountain available to use, as well as multiple bins and stations to take care of pet waste. Definitely a place to come to if visiting the area as it is a highlight of both Columbia County and the greater Augusta area.

We visited for the Christmas light walk through. It was beautiful and so fun! The playground is SO fun!! Our kiddos range from 16-1 and they all had fun!!

The park is always maintained and manicured, It has everything you need in a park, clear walking sidewalk, a large playground for different age groups, open space for picnics or games, and a dog park.

This day was a small fall festival with live music and food trucks

This place is so nice! I do wish the swings were covered from the sun (and the sitting area near the splash area) but it’s a beautiful park. There’s always something going on and it stays busy. Tall slides and fun for all ages.

Great family fun, free movie on the lawn, playground for kids, four electric recharge spaces, and lots of space for family play.
The Christmas lights are fantastic! There's real ice skating ⛸ and plenty of opportunities for great holiday pictures!

This is a really beautiful park. Lots of things to do. Playground, separate area for picnicking and swings, walking area, big open field, dog park area, as well as a splash pad. Everyone was also super nice and understanding with my nonverbal autistic nephew. ❤

It's such a great park all year round. They host tons of fun activities like ice skating, and put up plenty of lights for Christmas!

This is probably my favorite park for walking. They do not allow bicycles, skating, scooters, etc. on the walking/ jogging path, so it’s great for uninterrupted walking.
It’s also great for picnics and has wonderful playground for small children, handicapped children, and even somewhat older children.
The fact that it is located behind/ next to the beautiful Evans branch library is an added bonus! Get a book or two, lie down in the grass and read!
Between activities at the park ( outdoor theater shows movies & live performances in summer) and the library, there is always something to do for the whole family.
It’s also just plain gorgeous!

Always fun no matter the season, playground is always full of kids, there is a restaurant in walking distance and it’s just a good vibe. Really nice in the summer when it’s hot cause there are water mist stations to cool you off. In the winter there is fun ice skating on actual ice. Great park.

Our favorite playground in the Augusta area. It’s massive and has a variety of structures for all ages. Plenty of space for lots of kids. Wasn’t busy when we arrived. Definitely got busier once school let out but still had plenty of space to accommodate. Bathrooms close by. Paved walking trail. Great park!

Ice skating for the kids and an awesome playground with many jungle gyms and swings to play. Huge pavilion as well as smaller ones with tables and benches to sit and watch the kids play. Also noticed a dog park on the other side. Overall a great place !

Very nice park for a walk. County employees were setting up for Christmas. Looking forward to going back once all the lights are turned on.

Holiday events w Ice skating & hot cocoa and plenty of lights. Day time has free train ride for the children. Plenty of room to throw a ball around or run race cars and just relax at the multiple picnic tables, too !!

This park has everything for all ages and a great kids playground that is fenced in, so you don't have to worry about kids wandering outside of it. There are people there making sure everyone is safe and having fun with no issues. My kids love it! Many seasonal events and fun things for kids to do located right in the center of Evans!

I truly enjoy this park. It's not anything extravagant but it is very family and pet friendly. It has a big playground for the kids & benches and tables for parents to relax while the kids play. There is a walking trail, concert theater and a fenced in doggy playground. Many places in the park have a sign or bench with a plaque giving information on the park as well as locals. During the winter there is an ice rink. I would highly recommend this park to anyone who asked for a family friendly place to go.n

Evans Towne Center Park is a lovely outdoor space with something for everyone. I enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the park, and the greenery and lake provided a tranquil atmosphere. Families were having picnics, and there were plenty of activities for children. It's a great spot for relaxation and recreation.

I decided to check this community park out this morning while I was in Augusta, GA to get in some exercise. This was a very clean and well maintained park. It has plenty of parking and they can accommodate small and large vehicles. They have a large fenced in dog park and a gazebo for the pet owners to get out of the sun. Around the park is 3 paths for those that wish to walk ir run. There was also a male and female bathroom as well. Oyeah, and did I forget to mention that they have a playground for the kids!!!

This was an excellent find and I'm sure that we will return the next time in town!!!

We have been here for numerous reasons over the years, such as playing in the park on the playground, fireworks displays, and holiday light displays. Every single time, it never disappoints. There is always something fun to do and the park is well maintained.

Beautiful park, especially now with all the holiday lights happening, fairly level ground with a lot of sitting areas or bring your own chair. The ice rink inside a specialized tent was amazing! Reminded me so much of the ones I went to when I was a kid!

Columbia County outdid themselves with the Christmas lights this year. These pictures don't even cover the whole park. They also had venders selling crafts. Highly recommend that you go if you live any where near Augusta, GA!
