Riverside Park

This place is a nice one to kayak and stand up paddleboard. Sometimes the water is low depending upon the release of water from the dam. You can find tons of turltes and some birds along the way. The loop is an easy paddle then you will reach the river side. There is also kayak rentals in the park. Price is reasonable . Friendly owner. This is a place for family to enjoy the water.

Has six baseball fields, a small playground and one of the biggest dog parks I have ever seen. Also connect right to the river where you can fish or launch your boat.

My kids and I had an amazing time kayaking here! We signed up for a tour through Cole Watkins Tours and they were very patient and professional! We definitely plan to go again!

Absolutely beautiful 6 or so miles of fun. Enjoyed the trip very much. There are few tight spots that are worrisome but besides that it's a simple ride.

The most beautiful kayaking trip in Augusta area. 7 hours of nature and casual friendships. Paddle boards, kayaks, fishing, clear sandy bottom river wading. Pets enjoy the ride and the cool waters are just rhe refreshing break to inspire you to the open river that sweeps you gently back to bettys branch where the is always a helping hand to load up your gear after the long day.

This is a beautiful place to kayak. The put in at Bettis Branch is great a sandy beach for canoes/kayaks and a single ramp for motor boats. The loop a lot of people paddle is about 6 miles. Bettis Branch feeds into little creek which starts and sinuses on the Savannah River. Zero rapids, just calm relaxed paddling and fishing. There's a kayak rental shack at the launch and are nice and affordable rentals. We paddles the loop at a real casual pace it was a 3 hour trip.

Excellent park for pups and family alike. Two very large areas that can be separated, tables, benches, and drinking stations for dogs. Everyone has always been friendly and is a great place to take your dog of any age, breed, or size.

Awesome kayaking. Complete circle so you don't have to get a ride back to your car.

Great dog park with 2 sections for big and small dogs. Fun!

BETTY'S BRANCH
My grandson caught a blue gill. It got pretty hot so we left. There no shade at all. It would be nice to have fishing worms at the little store tho. All in all we had a great experience!

One of our favorite spots to get on and off the river. There are plenty of folks around if you need help but not too much to be crowded.

One of the few places in Augusta where you can park and paddle a route that is not there and back again. Hop on Betty's Branch North and paddle up to the river, let the river take you back. Beautiful. Lots of wildlife.

This is a convenient, beautiful kayak trail. You can paddle up and back or do the entire loop by by floating down the Sannah river and back up to Betty's Branch. It's so nice to put in and take out in the same place.

Best dog park in the area. Huge playground for dogs to run and play. People are always friendly and cordial. And everybody monitors their dog's with a keen eye. There is a separate side that's fenced in for smaller dogs. Great place to exercise your animal's.

What a fun ride down the river, just dont make the mistake I did and reapply sun screen. Easily worth the price of renting a kayak for a day full of fun.

Love riverside dog park which is right next to the tennis courts and ball fields. Lots of space for small and large doggos + water for the babes too. Covered area for the humans also!

Nice people helped us but our sons boat we made for his birthday celebration of his life bc he pasted away 4yrs ago and would have turned 4yrs old that day. We sailed off a boat for him!

Rented kayaks from Augusta Outdoor and could not be more thrilled. Very clean equipment and everything you need for a day of fun. Awesome experience!

The only thing I don't like is that the water level is always up and down to much. It is nice to see it up.

I visited the waterfront NOT the dog park.
It is well lit at night. Boat dock and fishing pier are well made, and well maintained. Boat ramp is adequate; Trailer parking is about 100 feet away, and large. I'd recommend ONLY shallow draft boats be launched here; The deepest part of this bay is less than 5 feet deep. VERY shallow over most of this bay!
