Love it! Be prepared to climb, but also be prepared for the awesome descents. This is a wide open paved bike path, so the sun is a shining. Some of the best "training" real estate in the CSRA for sure, especially if you're looking to avoid those trail walking zombies that never pay attention to their surroundings.

I pretty much only inline skate so this trail is awesome! The pavement is great and it kept pretty clean as well. Only one of the road crossing is in a bad place. Wish there was some parking but as long as you park at the hotel off exit 5 your all good.

Awesome little trail we love to ride. Love the hills! Figure out how to connect to the Greenway without getting run over and that would be perfect.

Excellent path for cardio workout. I have completed this trail several times and looking to go plenty more times.

Overall great path for bike riding, very little traffic and very well maintained... probably because of how low the traffic is. The big disadvantages is that it doesn't have any real shade to speak of, so if you are riding during the day be ready for sun exposure. Also it crosses a couple of roads that are high traffic so that is something to look out for. Additionally, if you are looking to do a long loop between this and the Greenway, better to use the southern route to connect between the two, the northern route between the two trailheads is pretty high traffic.

Not a lot to see with respect to scenery as it runs parallel to the freeway. I went early afternoon on a weekday and saw only 3 people on the path. The section I was on was rather hilly. Also had to cross a couple of roads but there are buttons to stop the traffic. Would give 5 stars, but there were no benches to stop and relax for a bit

This path is really close to my house but I haven't take advantage of it until just recently. I just started running and recently completed my first 5K distance run at the Palmetto Parkway Bike Path! The condition of the pavement is excellent. I would have given 5 stars but those uphill grades can be long some sections are even a bit steep.

The Palmetto Parkway is not for a beginner but it was nice. There are a good bit of hills so if you aren't mentally prepared for that it will definitely be a little challenging. This was my first time so I definitely wasn't ready for this. I will ride it again but I will need to work my way up to riding the hills.

Absolutely no shade so heed warnings to avoid during the hottest parts of the day. A few road crossings. Parking is in an old abandoned building lot (I think).
