Richmond County Hickman Park

Had a great time at a Family yoga and craft event by Kortnee Ann Yoga! There is a nice playground and the Imagination Station Museum for kids is also located here. It's only $40/year to become a member. Great spot with plenty of shade and seating areas. You should visit, very nice space.

Beautiful park. Great playground that is fun for the kids and adults both. Cool painted track for ride on you cars. Tennis court and plenty of tables in the shade. Their is also a lending library (take one and leave one of you got it)

UPDATE: A whole new playground has been installed with swings, slides, rope climb, merry-go-round, etc. It's not really aimed at kids less than three, though there are a few kiddy swings. It's now a really great little park.

OLD REVIEW: 4 STARS This is a nice little park nearly behind the Partridge Inn. It's probably 1-2 acres, very nicely fenced (except the far end is open), with playground equipment, grassy fields, a few picnic tables, a decent tennis court usually available, and a little brick "Discovery" house that's occasionally open for kids on random weekends. It's in a nice Summerville neighborhood, although across from a well maintained apartment complex. The main gripe for me is that one of their main playground equipment sets has been half broken for years (slide boarded off). There is a tall slide nearby, jungle gym bars, and regular and toddler swings. A couple big trees offer shade nearby over the picnic tables.

We love having Hickman Park in our neighborhood! It's so nice to be able to cycle or walk to a park and Hickman is so well maintained. It has playground equipment for kids of all ages, which is what keeps me coming back!

Awesome place called imagination station located inside the park

This is absolutely where I recommend bringing your kids to play and to do parties.

One of Augusta's safest childrens park in a wonderful area between Hickman Rd and Meigs St. And is also one of the parks that has a tennis court not well maintained like most of the city courts. But the park its self is beautiful!!!

It's always been my favorite park in Augusta. Unfortunately there are not restrooms unless the little building for a drop and shop type thing is open, you can ask to use it and they've always had no issue.

I love this park, it use to have a tree house when I use to come as a kid. Now I bring my boys and they enjoy riding their scooters on the Summerville track...so cute

It was our first time and we will for sure be back. It was a pure delight, even in spite of my granddaughter getting a bloody nose from her fall.
A super fun, wonderful sensory, and imagination building experience.

Great relaxing park, although it looks different from when I was a child, it still has it magical charm. My sons and I enjoyed reading the books from the free library. I love the imagination station on Saturdays!

Love bringing my daughter here. Many swings and other things to do for tiny tots

Clean park, all the playground stuff was functional, shaded and sunny areas to sit.

We love the Imagination Station, children's museum that is inside the park and the playground is wonderful as well of all of the magnolia trees.
