Innkeeper/host was welcoming, kind, and fun. Rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the history of the building and how they’ve kept its charm. Bed was comfortable. It has everything you need from a fridge and microwave to a coffee maker downstairs. Regretted that we didn’t stay longer and would love to stay again.

LOVE the bar beneath the inn! Great selection of Mules, spiked hot chocolate, and spiked coffee drinks along with a full bar of options and local beer selection. The bartenders are friendly, quick to get you served, and have great recommendations.

The live music was enjoyable - they did a phenomenal job of involving the crowd and I thought it was great (I’m a Nashville local).

If you’re from Nashville, I’d say this spot is a mix between Santa’s Pub and Miss Kelli’s in atmosphere with drinks comparable to Patterson House and the live music vibe of a Tootsies.

Spent a romantic anniversary night here (40 years). The hostess was amazingly charming. The room was clean, vintage, such a special secret place. The Fox Lair bar downstairs had fantastic live music after we came back from dinner. I hate to write this review because this is one of the nicest hotel (Inn) nights we have had in many many years of travel, and we want to come back to the secret, but the hostess, the bartender, the rest of the staff and the musicians that perform here deserve to be recognized and appreciated. Absolutely loved this place!!!!

Great local bar tucked away in a convenient location. Nice outside garden patio and a basement bar with music most nights – from open mics to songwriter rounds and performances from amazing local talent – couldn’t ask for more in a local hangout with 150 plus years of history in the building!

Fun place to stay. No food on premises. However, there is a bar with great drinks and fantastic local music.

This place is a gem! The owner for one was very welcoming and made us feel so comfortable here! The bar downstairs was a plus. The location was super convenient and easy to get to so many places. My only complaint for put stay was I was hot at night as we didn't have control over the temp, but that was to be expected. Overall, we had so much fun and met such nice people. I will definitely be a repeat customer! No question. This place is 100% worth checked out, we LOVED it 😁

This place is a gem! It is lovely - our room had beautiful furnishings to fit the old house, and very comfortable! Everything we could have needed was provided; the room had a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. This was not a boring hotel room, it really felt like and was appointed like home. :) The Fox's Lair bar downstairs was charming and features live music - it seemed like a special little music venue. The courtyard outside the Fox's Lair (where you enter to go to the guest rooms) is a lovely southern courtyard with old brick pavers, nice vegetation, and lots of patio seating. In the morning we walked our dogs in the center park walkway of Greene Street which had lots of southern charm. The people we met here were amazing - great southern hospitality. This place is just super cool! Highly recommend for a great place to stay and great little bar for music in Augusta! :)

My wife and I were in town for a show at Bell Auditorium and wanted to stay within walking distance. We found this cool spot. The Fox’s Lair bar was the perfect spot to end the night. Fun local talent and the bar has all you need. The bartender Miranda was awesome and very nice. The house is over 100 years old and beautiful inside and out. One of the ladies that work there, Brandy, was very talented and I wish she would have played more. We will be back whenever we are in Augusta. We went upstairs to our room after the bar closed and slept in a very comfortable bed with a clean bathroom. I recommend this place if you want something different from your regular everyday hotel room.

A very comfortable and quiet experience. Everything was absolutely perfect. Having the basement bar is the beautiful final touch a place like this needs. Wonderful music and drink selections. Very personable atmosphere. It's also located in a wonderful spot, being only minutes from downtown, the baseball stadium, and the riverwalk. I will be visiting as much as I can.

We loved our stay! Big, beautifully furnished and comfy room with an attached living room, perfectly located and close to everything downtown - we ended our evening downstairs at the Fox’s Lair with fun live music, happy patrons, and became fast friends with Judy behind the bar. Looking forward to visiting again!

This place is so cozy. It's definitely a little small and crowded, but the atmosphere is really nice. The live entertainment was really talented. I had a mule since that is what they are known for, and it was really good, but my favorite drink was a spiked coffee. Definitely going to return again.

My husband and I came to town for a concert. I wanted to find something other than a hotel room and close to everything. This was the PERFECT place. The room was very nice and clean. Such a quaint place to stay. We have decided we WILL be back again. The management/staff were so nice, full of suggestions for restaurants and easy to contact. 100% recommend!!!!!!

Beautiful bed and breakfast with a great underground bar. Miss Judy and Miss Melinda act as great hosts! Tuesday nights are always a special occasion with a live band. Thursday nights offer Open Mic nights. The fox's lair is the best place to be for St Patty's Day in Augusta or an Irish themed night out on the town in a safe environment. You would be hard-pressed to find an equivalent in Old Town Augusta.

Went to open mic night and heard this great local talent named Shawn Gevedon last Thursday. There was a nice bunch of people there. The place has a gorgeous outdoor patio with a fire pit. They also have rooms to rent upstairs so you don't have to drink and drive.
