Crowne Plaza North Augusta, an IHG Hotel

Hands down the best experience possible. Celebrated our anniversary weekend at this hotel. Within short notice they were able to a beautiful bouquet of roses and a bottle of Champagne before check in. All of the staff was very warm, welcoming, and very happy to have us. They all wished us a happy anniversary. Even down to the restaurant staff. Perfect experience!

I personally LOVE every staff member at this hotel. They are so sweet and personable! The location is so clutch for a nearby brunch spot, late night drink spot and an event arena! Anything more is a short drive across the bridge. I can’t brag enough about the staffing here. So helpful and efficient! I will definitely try to stay here upon visiting augusta again!

I have stayed here a handful of times and personally believe it is the best hotel in the Augusta area. Located in a dining and entertainment development centered on the local Minor League Baseball stadium, the hotel is just far away enough from downtown Augusta to feel apart from the city but near enough that everything is a short drive away. The views from the rooms feature either the river, a beautiful pond, or a view of the stadium. Service at the hotel is timely and always provided with a smile. Add to that well maintained rooms and dining options within easy walking distance for all ages and anyone would be hard pressed to point out a better place to stay when passing through this lovely little town.

Okay let’s get into it.!!! I was a visitor, okay a visitor! For a banquet for my husbands job, and the best experience was the bar. Specifically Tyson and Donovan. I don’t get out often because we moved here from Detroit and I’ve never felt more comfortable than having casual conversation with them! They listened to my drink preferences and understood i don’t drink but please make something appealing. They both did that!! It’s always good to feel welcomed but to be listened to is a plus!! Big fish company.. if you don’t listen to anything else, please understand that you have 2 great employees on your hands. Tyson and Donovan should be treated like gold!!!! Ohhhh and while im at it, SHELBY, was excellent. She has a four yr old son and understands what’s it’s like to deal with kids and their picky food habits. lol she made me laugh the entire time she came out to check out our table and asked if we found everything we needed. I love them all for making this experience everything!!! For someone who suffers from anxiety and panic attacks of meeting everyday people.. I thank them so much 🥰🥰🥰

I am giving this hotel 5 stars. Cecilio and all of the front desk that worked with me and my team were wonderful and accommodating. I stayed at this hotel many times for work. The location is awesome, you can go for a run on the river. Biking trails are close by. The hotel has bikes. The Salt and Marrow is wonderful. I hosted an event here. I am an IHG Elite Member.

The place was beautiful. Went to the rooftop bar and Tyson (bartender) was AMAZING. Definitely would comeback again. The aesthetic was EVERYTHING.

I love the Jackson Rooftop Bar as an Augusta residence! Amelia and Tyson are awesome bartenders and create and relaxed and welcoming vibe. One of my favorite spots as a resident to come hang on a beautiful day!

Wandered into Crowne to check out the bar & ended up staying for a couple hours! Hailey the bartender was AWESOME. She can make a killer cocktail & has even better conversation. Definitely worth checking out!

The hotel staff are all knowledgeable and kind, and checking in/ out were smooth processes. The room was very clean, and the sheets were so soft I was googling how to buy them. The queen suite was set up very well for work and relaxation, and there’s a park to walk through as well as several nearby restaurants to supplement the hotel’s restaurant and bar. I plan to stay again soon.

Great location, great front desk, great room. Great food in the restaurant. The attendants in the restaurant might be in training and so delivery was way off.

My niece hosted her wedding November 18Th 2023 at the hotel.
I was the wedding planner and I want to commend
Jessica Benavente and her assistant Ruth Crawford for the extra mile they went in providing help and advice on planning my niece's wedding . I first met Jessica in November of 2022 when my niece decided on this venue. From the very first moment we were introduce I knew Jessica wanted only the best for my niece's wedding , and showed excitement in the planning stages. Over the next year Jessica provided answers to each and every question or concern my niece, her fiancee', parents and I had. I want to thank Jessica for putting my niece's mind at ease during the planning process. Over the past 12 months I was in constant contact with Jessica by email or phone calls. Every question I had she answer and explained to me in a courteous manner. Since I was in complete charge of the planning , I checked into the hotel 4 days before the wedding. I can not begin to express the gratitude I have for Jessica and her assistant Ruth Crawford in the days leading up to the wedding. The wedding was an outdoor ceremony, followed by an indoor cocktail hour, and then reception in main ballroom. Jessica n Ruth provided me with all the help I needed right up to and including the day of wedding. Their commitment was shown by the fact they worked until after the wedding was over and we cleared everything out of ballroom.
Crowne Plaza North Augusta is fortunate in having these two women working for them in the events department The perfect personalities needed when planning an event , I also will like to commend the complete staff at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta for their polite service and help. We had a lot of out of town guest staying at hotel for the wedding, and they completely enjoyed their stay. Once again I will like to thank the Crowne Plaza North Augusta , and special thanks to Jessica Benavente and her staff.

As an IHG member I like to try out all the different hotels they offer when I travel. Crown Plaza's can sometimes be the older of the chain but this one was very nice. The lobby was beautiful and the location was in an area right on the Savannah River where there are walking trails, restaurants and bars. We had great service at the hotel restaurant for breakfast as well.

On 11-18-2023, I had the pleasure of attending my “niece” Neysa Aiken wedding at your facility. It was an event that I was actively involved in its planning for nearly a year. All throughout the year, Jessica Benavente and her assistant Ruth Crawford were there for us. Managing every detail and assuring that Neysa’s dream became a reality. What can I say about these awesome 2 individuals? Let’s start with Jessica. What an amazing person. Not only did she make sure that every intricate details in Neysa Aiken’s wedding vision was adhere to, she went way and above by providing Neysa with ideas and suggestions to her. She was there every time we needed her and was supportive on everything that was needed. The fact that she has an awesome people ready personality, made things wonderful. It’s obvious that she loves her job, and that love transcended into everything she did for us. Crowne Plaza is indeed lucky to have such a diamond as Jessica Benavente in its staff. Her assistant Ruth Crawford; also appeared to come from the same cloth as Jessica. Warm, caring, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Another amazing pearl in your staff. Both Jessica and Ruth are an amazing duo who need to be commended not only for what they did for us, but; more importantly, for their obvious love, care, and dedication to their job.

Went to the bar for a couple drinks with my lady and the bartender was extremely accommodable young energetic very nice and trying to make the best drinks he knows how I gotta respect that he was a good young man and he had great conversation and his drinks were good too we appreciate his service

Great atmosphere for business meeting and dinner. Parking would've been a challenge if I hadn't arrived early.
Excellent space for any event.

Stayed here to be close to an event we were attending the next day. Room was very comfortable.

The service was great, and the check-in employees were very polite and professional. My room was perfectly clean and very nicely set up. The balcony was great to sit up on with good refreshments. The restaurant had a great breakfast. I recommend the Belgian waffle.

Clean comfortable rooms. Nice inside bar, rooftop bar, restaurant on site. Complimentary coffee at 645 am. Pool and decent gym. Places to eat across the street if you didn't want to stay in. Parking in covered garage. You do have to drive into Augusta because there is no pedestrian bridge nearby but it is only a 5 minute drive. Everyone who works here is friendly and will take time to say hello or ask if you need anything.

This was my 2nd time staying at the Crowne Plaza and I would stay again! Plenty of available restaurants, the room cleanliness, and the friendly staff will keep me coming.

We were stopping here 1 night and from the moment we pulled up the service was excellent. Donald the doorman offered to take our bags and was so pleasant, we didn’t actually need help as was just one but he made us feel like that didn’t matter he was there to help.
Later we ordered an Uber to go to dinner and he overheard us and offered to take us in the hotel shuttle for no charge, he gave us his number and came back to get us after our dinner. The rest of the staff was just as friendly and the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed.
Hope we have the opportunity to come back to town. A truly excellent experience.
