Let me sing praises about this dealership for a second. I got myself in a bad situation and George and his staff went above and beyond to help get me out of it, when they really didn't have to. I bought a truck from them, and like an idiot, elected to pass on the warranty they offered with it. I had it 2 days and noticed it had some issues that neither one of us noticed when test driving. It ended up being a problem that was VERY expensive to fix. Luckily for me, these guys do business the RIGHT way. They found me another truck that was almost identical to the original one. They helped me work it out so I didn't have to eat the extra expense. I ended up with a truck that I now like even better that the first one, and a 3 year warranty for peace of mind. Most other used car dealers would have held up the "SOLD AS IS" sign when I brought back the original truck, but they took care of me like I was family. Elton was a fantastic salesman that you can trust. Thank you George and Ideal Auto for doing the right thing by your customers! I love my F250!

Charles Boamah was my Sales Consultant and he was so patient with me, he allowed me to take my time and answered every question I had. I just purchased a 2019 GLS 450 from Ideal. Saw the car online I was contacted immediately. I’m the middle of a hectic week for me I only communicated via text with the sales team. They were responsive and very interested in getting my business.
I finally was able to see the car. I met Mark and Ji. Car was ready for a test drive and they were willing to answer any and all questions. From the first interaction to the last meeting it felt like I was sitting with friends no pressure to buy or gimmicks. As Ji said it was Easy Peasy.

We bought a used Acura from Ideal Auto at what we feel was a reasonable price. Our salesperson, Charles, was great! He worked with us to find a vehicle suitable for our needs. Charles was very courteous, knowledgeable and attentive to details. He did not try to pressure us, so the transaction was smooth and stress-free. We recommend that you consider asking for Charles Boamah at Ideal. I will keep you posted on how we like the Acura after we have driven it awhile.

My sales person was Mark and I truly had a great and quick buying experience. Mark was transparent and knowledgeable. He has responded back every time I reached out to him after my SUV purchase.

I would definitely recommend this place. My salesman Kevin was so down to earth and made everything super smooth. My uncle even had a good time laughing and conversing with him! I was a little stressed out bc a different dealership tried to run game on me, but Kevin was straight to the point and honest. Prior to stopping by, I was already preapproved for an amount so I didn't have to worry too much about the financing. From start to finish, I was there maybe an hour and a half! This was lightning fast compared to my parents who paid cash for a vehicle in Durham and we sat close to 6 hours! Again, I would highly recommend them and I know for certain I'll be back whenever I am ready to buy again!

All employees at this dealership were "Super"professionals and negotiations were pleasant without any pressure.

I had a fantastic experience with Tom and the team at iDeal Auto. I found their dealership on a third party site but did all my business directly with the dealership. I came from out of state and they made it easy to drive away in my new car. They even helped facilitate the financing process even though I went with my personal bank instead of their option. Overall, they made the process of first time car buying so streamlined and I am very impressed with their customer service.

I have bought many cars over the years and this dealer is amazing. From the moment I walked into the dealership.i was met with professionalism. My salesman Mark Lowry was low pressure and very nice. It was more like dealing with a friend. The finance manager James Brown was quick, conscientious and kind. The dealership is unusual because it's not high pressure gotta sell you a car if you want one or not. Very impressed with the vibe the place exudes. Highly recommend.

I live in Massachusetts, but I just bought fiat 500 abarth from Ideal Auto in North Carolina since it was hard to find where I live. I was little nervous about how smooth the transaction will be since buying a car out of state. Sales person, Charles, helped me to buy this car and the process was very smooth. They got pretty much everything done for me like registration, titles and so on. I just waited at my house and car was delivered in timely manner. I had great experience to buy a car from this dealership!

Charles was amazing! I came in a couple of days before Christmas looking for a present for my daughter. Charles helped me understand that the $10K car I was looking for isn't typically what they deal in, but he'd recently taken one in trade he thought I'd be interested in. The car came out of the detail shop about 30 minutes after we spoke, and he called to let me know it was ready. He wasn't wrong! The car was clean, beautifully maintained, and the perfect fit for my goals and budget. Paperwork took less than an hour, and Charles and James (in the finance office) now have customers for life! Fair price, honest and transparent people, I can't recommend them enough. I even took my father in law to look at their lot on Christmas day because he mentioned he might be looking for a truck... I told him I have a friend in the business!

This dealership is one of the best that I have ever dealt with. We found them on cargurus and they made the buying experience pleasurable. We had a pre-approval from our credit union but they were able to get us a full percent lower. Charles actually took the car out for his own test drive and felt that the car had a hesitation. So he had the fluids serviced. This fixed the issue. I had to fly in to pick up the car and Charles picked me up at the airport in the car which allowed me to test drive the car back to the dealership. I was in and out quickly, less than half an hour. They also overnighted the paperwork so it would be signed by both my wife and I so she wouldn't have to fly. My tank was full when I left and James Brown made the signing easy. I highly recommend these guys, they have a wide selection of clean used cars. Our BMW was spotless and showroom ready.

Tony Tanner was great! He was very genuine in wanting us to make the best decision for ourselves and we felt no pressure. Much nicer feel than big dealerships. He also answered all our questions and was helpful afterwards with follow up via phone/email. Definitely recommend! - Kristin

I have been looking for a good car dealership in NC for so time. Until last year January, I found Charles at ideal auto in Raleigh North Carolina. They have all kind of cars and trucks to choose from. I'm on my second vehicle I received a week ago. A great place to buy from.

I helped my dad purchase a car from Ideal Auto. Charles was our guy there. The transaction was flawless and Charles did everything in his power to assist in the purchase. He is knowledgeable and appears to be honest in that he did everything he promised he would do. A car dealership is only as good as the people who work there. I don't usually trust car salesmen but I could make an exception here. By the way, they have some very nice automobiles here so if you're in the market, go see Charles.

I had a wonderful experience with iDeal Auto. They provided top notch service! I have a growing family and my husband and I were searching for a vehicle that will accommodate all of our children (all in car seats, 3 to be exact). We found exactly what we wanted, not to mention we received a great trade-in amount for my vehicle, we also received a great deal on the vehicle we ended up purchasing. We were able purchase an awesome warranty as well at an affordable price (they offer several options if you want to add a warranty onto the vehicle being purchased)!!! Their vehicles are affordable and they are willing to work with you on the price, the staff is very friendly and laid back. I never felt pressured, and the care they give their customers is unheard of nowadays! This was the absolute BEST car buying experience by FAR that I have ever had, seriously!!!! The service they provide is just off the charts! I cannot even put into words how impressed and appreciative I am of these guys!!! My husband and I had visited other local car lots before visiting iDeal Auto and I was not pleased with any of the others or the way they did business. iDeal Auto made up for that and all the time my husband and I felt we had wasted at the other places!!
