First time and was such a good experience, a little crown but still chill everyone was polite even the other guests. The bar in the middle was awesome, Emily made our visit so chill and interesting. Food from dumpling place was 11/10 a bit of a wait but well worth it. Sat and had great conversation at bar while waiting, I can't wait to visit again.

A great place to build your own feast, or to feed a crowd! I haven't had a chance to try all of the vendors here, but I tried my very best! If you're visiting Durham for the first time and are a little short on time, this would be a great stop on your Durham itinerary.

Great food hall with choices for everyone. Good cocktails and beers on tap, decent pizza and great tacos! The crunch wrap was a full pound of pleasure. The Indian food is great too!

Lovely food court area with upscale eateries featuring culturally diverse cuisines. Great place for some delicious grub and great espresso for lunch. Features one of the bet crunch wraps I’ve had. Love the options here and the location features a nice cocktail bar in the middle with some select liqueurs.
Highly recommend grabbing some espresso on the upper level.

The Durham Food Hall is located on the first floor of the Liberty Warehouse in the Central Park district. It is a casual, modern space to eat, drink and gather. There are over 8 different vendors/small eateries with fresh, local ingredients. It is a great place to work or hang out with friends. Parking is a breeze as the food hall validates your parking garage ticket. I had a margherita pizza from Napoli- Neapolitan Pizzeria and Gelateria. If you love wood fired pizza, then I highly recommend Napoli. My margherita pizza was delicious!!! I also had a hot vanilla latte from Liturgy Beverage Company which was fantastic!

Great place to meet up with friends or go on a date. There were also a lot of families here! You can get different types of food all in one location like Indian, Italian, BBQ. In the middle of it all is a big bar that you could sit at and order a drink and eat whatever food you ordered. Alternatively, there are tables and chairs spread throughout. I will definitely return here!

If you’re in Durham, you’re not gonna want to miss this spot. Food hall is what it is! Mexican food, seafood, Teriyaki bowls and more! If you’re all wanting something different to eat, stop in here, they have it all! With a bar in the center of the “food court,” this is a win!

Took a friend so she could experience it. It's a fun little place to dine with different restaurants to choose from. There is a pizza place, an Indian place, a seafood place, a bagel place, Mexican, what I would call an Asian fusion place, a bakery, and a place for beverages upstairs as well as a bar downstairs. It's eclectic and fun. There is no wait staff, so you place your order, and get one of things that buzzes when your order is ready. There is open seating offering larger tables for 6 - 8 people as well as smaller tables available.

UPDATE: THEY HAVE REPLACED THE FAUCETS!!!

For years, Durham Food Hall was blessed by delicious food but plagued by not only a paucity of bathrooms (just a handful of single stall bathrooms serve the crowds here) but, far worse, those nasty push-timer bathroom faucets, which were so worn down that you basically had to push the button in with one hand while washing your other hand, practically defeating the purpose of washing your hands in the first place. Upon a recent visit to the DFH bathrooms, I was absolutely blown away to discover that management had replaced these faucets with completely sane ones! Thank you DFH! I cannot wait to wash my hands here again!

Epic experience. This place was live today. We are in town for the first time for this weekend. We were referred here from lunch with a lot of choices. Mexican was on our mind today. EX VOTO was so o. Point. Excellent food great service. Then drinks with Grace whom also besides very original drinks that were GREAT she was also so helpful on hiking biking and paddleboarding in the area. Yes we have to come back to eat at a few other amazing looking spots. It just so happened to be a air hockey tournament which made for a fun Saturdy vibe.

I’m a big fan of food halls in general (ya girl loves options), and this food hall is a great option for lunch or a casual dinner out with friends. Small but mighty, the options are carefully curated for diversity and ingredients of the highest quality! Split into two levels, the top level boasts coffee and sweet treats while the bottom level has 6-7 food options ranging from Italian to Indian. My personal fave is Napoli, a Neapolitan style pizzeria. Communal tables make up much of the space, and there is a giant bar in the middle that serves up craft cocktails as well as local brews. Solid option for a quick bite or dinner with friends who can’t agree on where to go.

The fish place: Amazing. Best place in the food hall. Stand up crew. Always working hard. The menu changes a bit. The blackened fish sandwich is stellar as well as the catfish sandwich. I eat here every week at least.

The taco place: Pretty good. Wayyyy too much cheese on all the items.

The pizza place: Solid. The cheese slides off the pizza a bit.

The bagel place: Very good. Always timely and fresh ingredients.

The other two places: Haven't tried yet.

What do you want to get? I don't care. I don't either. Well someone has to pick. OR we could go to the Food Hall and everyone can get whatever they want! It's all good but I usually get a pizza, because they are exceptional, and the staff is so friendly. The park is just outside so it's easy to hang out even if it's crowded inside.

Overall Rating: 6.9/10
The Durham Food Hall offers a one-of-a-kind experience that's worth checking out at least once if you're in the area.

Atmosphere: The layout with different eateries provides a variety of atmospheres all under one roof, capturing what a proper food hall should feel like.

Service: Staff were attentive, keeping the place tidy by cleaning tables, sweeping, and managing the waste. The shared bathrooms, although a downside due to the wait time, were kept clean despite the busy environment.

The diversity of options at the food hall is really great. They have Mexican, Seafood, Asian, Pizza, Bagels, Desserts, and more. Finding somewhere to sit can be pretty difficult because it gets really crowded, so we usually end up just sitting at the bar in the middle of the room.

You can also grab your food to go and head across the street to the Glass Jug Brewery where seating is usually easier to find and there's a patio. Some of the vendors will even deliver your food there if you order it online.

I would recommend checking the individual vendors' menus online before going and having a first and second choice ready.

Incredible options - everything we had was amazing. So many great vendors, there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is so cool and friendly , the open air makes it so nice. We sat and ate at the bar in the center and it was perfect.

My son just moved to Durham, so I’m a regular now…lol! First off, this food hall is amazing! I was so impressed. Being from South Florida, we’re kind of snobby about food and restaurants, but this place held up on the food side. The people were stand-offish and not as warm as I am accustomed to, but I guess that might just be the general area, not sure. The bartender was ho-hum and not super interested in being there. And the taco place guy was unfriendly. Having said that, I can’t punish that cool place because of two people. The gelato guy was awesome, etc. In other words, each little location has their own team running their section. Some will be better than others, that’s all. I’ll still go back and seek out the happy people 🙃

***Response to food hall reply: I don’t remember the date but it was during the week at 6pm ish. The Mexican place was the first one on the left when you go down the stairs. It was a male attendant. The bar was the one in the middle and it was a female bartender. Everything else was super great! Can’t wait to try the oysters next time.

Ok. Got grease oysters, crunch wraps, saag lamb, and beers… all from different venders. All were delicious!! Service was great at all the counters! Loved it all!

Loved the place. It is so convenient that you can go to different counters, explore, and order your food, but you can also scan a single QR code and order from your table from multiple places and pick them up when they are ready. Great variety of food/beverages, and convenience of technology, and wait times are reasonable although some counters are busier than others so do check before placing the order. Conveniently located in Downtown Durham and close to parking decks.

Neat place in Downtown Durham to grab food and drinks. Happy that Milklab recently moved in! Not sure about parking though other than street parking which is often crowded.
