This park has so many different areas and can be used for picnics, parties, community events... A great newish playground, tennis courts, a small public pool outdoors in the summer, covered eating grill out space and a huge beautiful field (like multiple soccer games worth). My favorite part is the beautiful huge old trees.

I come here to play pickleball on the courts, which are well suited for casual play. They are a bit cracked, so for serious tennis this may not be the spot. There is currently some construction on the house on site, but you can still get to all the facilities

DPR did an excellent job by choosing JAZZ music for this venue.
Awesome music to dance the SALSA!

I took my 3 year old son to this park and he really enjoyed it. It has a big playground and two swing sets with lots of field space to run, play, and enjoy your family. It was very peaceful. There is even a pavilion space adjacent to the playground.

Not just a park, this is a stunning parchipelago that stretches in the most surprising directions and makes for delightful exploration on foot or on OneWheel.

Great family park, I've been going there for years. As a city park, it offers a lot.

Very nice place for the kids to cool down, picnics, celebrations etc... We will return. Very curious as to what type of tree this is?

My grands and I love this park. It's clean and fun. I love going to the pool. It's never overcrowded and has lifeguards. I wish their was more shaded seating available though.

This park is great during the hot summer days. They have water feature for kids to play in and cool off. Not a big water area but it's still fun. The park itself is nice and has shaded seating areas along with lots of beautiful grass areas to run around and play with anything you bring. Lots of fun!!

Fun park. Has a nice tennis court, pool, large playground set, and kids sprinkler area. It is also surrounded with large open fields and a walking trail. The field doesn't drain the best and can be muddy at times. Still, there is generally ample room for football, frisbee or just throwing a baseball.

What a great park in a beautiful corner of Durham. We went on a dry hot Saturday morning to enjoy the Sprayground and it was a perfect ten. My 3 year old daughter loved it. The only criticism is that the ground is made of rubber which is fine but it is black so in summer, it gets hot on bare feet. Bring water shoes!

Nice place to set up a grass volleyball net, or play ultimate frisbee. A little shade here or there on the fields. The tennis courts are good, not usually full, and it has a wall to practice as well

We love the Sprayground. It is an excellent place to go for hot summer days. There's also a swimming pool. The restrooms are in connection with a swimming pool. You can use them even if you are not swimming, but only during pool hours.

Went with my son. He had a blast doing all types of thing from running on the open grass, tennis, soccer to sliding and climbing or going on a mysterious adventure through the wooded path. Had a great time and would go again.
