Barnes & Noble

Went here to buy "Prequel" by Rachel Maddow. It was on display near the front. They also had children's books 'but one get one half off'. So I bought two for a family of seven that I support. Barnes and Noble is a great bookstore for our community.

Finding time to pause is sometimes difficult for me. Having a bookstore that is still standing and in business allows me to do just that. Perusing each book isle transports me to time when things were so simple, conversations flowed freely because the one thing we all had in common was reading 📚 . I am happy to say that this still exists and is made possible by having a brick and morter book store ... check them out and connect to fellow readers

I love this book store you can grab some Starbucks coffee and settle in for a good read or browse the large selection of books and toys. I shopped for Easter presents for my grandkids and found all sorts of books and toys. Sale prices ar great and of course you can order any book in print. The sales staff are super helpful.

We no longer buy books at a bookstore but it was beneficial when you have no idea what kind of books your kids would be interested in, as they put books on the shelves by genre, I’m glad I went here and you could enjoy a quiet peaceful moment at their cafe after choosing the books.

I have been going to this bookstore for over 15 years, all together I have spent thousands here on books, they have a huge selection of books and the employees are always friendly. Great bookstore.

As you know me I’m a huge fan of manga there was a teenager making fun of my kid but we told an Employee and they got ban for 1 week However we gotta plushy

Probably the best stocked and organized Barnes and Noble I've ever been to. Either this store is new or has been remodeled because the inside is unlike any other Barnes and Noble I've visited.

Very nice and clean book store, with; a few hidden gems for those who aren’t into reading on paper/trees and prefer reading or listening to books on their Phone/iPad/Computer:

STARBUCKS:
There is a pretty large size Starbucks inside the store. Many outlets and usually pretty quiet (think of a typical book store or library). They actually have a much larger selection than stand-alone Starbucks... Such as normal Sodas, Sandwiches, Snacks all of which I have not seen at any local Starbucks and I visit them often...

TOYS / GAMES / FUN:
At back of the store is a hidden (from front of store) but as you get 1/2 way through store you see the HUGE Toy, Game, Puzzle, etc. section. It’s MASSIVE. I have to say that they did something Toys-R-Us did not, they focused on toys/games/fun NOT sold at Walmart or Target.... Honestly, I’ve never saw these toys/games ever. It was my Mom who walked to the back of the store as I was working at Starbucks that told me about it.

PARENTS / GRANDPARENTS:
Again; the Toy section is a MUST as there are many fun toys which I honestly wish they had when my kids were littler as they are cool games you can play with the kids and its fun for them and you. They even have “AR” games so they are ‘hybrid’ games which are board type games and old school games that you can use your smartphone and see a different aspect via AR technology.

Refreshing there are still actual bookstores. Staff is very pleasant and informative

I bought my grandsons gift cards for Christmas this year and they absolutely loved the experience.
It was fun to be able to extend the season a little longer.

I LOVE this store. Best selection of puzzles in Sarasota! There is also a huge kids area with a Lego table, Thomas The Train tracks table, and a stage! Not to mention - all of the BOOKS! I never have a problem getting a book I am looking for, or finding a new book! The staff is also great if I need help.

I absolutely love Barnes & Noble. It has such a serene atmosphere and a great variety of books. I can easily spend two hours just browsing. The cafe is also nice to just sit and relax with a drink and sweet treat. Best part is finding out my membership is still going strong!

Love this place. Quiet surroundings. Comfortable seating. I can enjoy something good to eat and drink while I read or work.
Could use more electric outlets though.

Always have what I'm looking for. And if they didn't, they would find it on the computer and order it for me. Always great customer service. 👍 They did switch up their magazine selection, though. A lot of often sought after originals are either out of business or they just stopped selling them. All in all, it's a great store.

I could spend hours in this store. Everywhere I look I see a book that interests me that I could immerse myself in. I also love the self help books and journals they provide as I love to write. Love the conspiracy books as well. Place to gain knowledge for sure! Clean and friendly

This place used to be so busy it was impossible to find a parking spot here. Now it seems abandoned. Cafe inside is empty. Best buy next to it is a ghost town. So sad. Few short years change the landscape of entire town.

One of the better Barnes & Noble stores I have been to, and I have been to a lot. Tidy, and organized. Will go back when I have more time.

Large store. Competitive prices. Great for kids. Starbucks Inside. I visited this location with my family and there was something for everyone. There is a great kids section of books for all ages. Also, in the back, there is a kids' toy section that is great as well. You'll find all of the usual B&N selection and more. The pricing is competitive with online prices and thus easy to pick up an item and check out. Highly recommend.
