Nanny's of Sanibel

Nanny’s is the cutest children’s store! I was recently on the island and stopped in looking for a special gift for a baby shower. I love the unique items and the high quality and feel of the clothes. The new owner was super helpful in my search and even gift wrapped it with a cute logo sticker. If you are looking for something that is Sanibel special stop into Nanny’s!

We visited post hurricane, what an adorable store. Beautiful dresses, nice swimsuit selection, and specialty baby clothes. So many special books too. The owner was very sweet and wrapped our gift. These little shops are few and far between, such a lovely place to buy a baby gift or little person outfit!

I live out of town, but follow this boutique online. I placed an order for a baby shower gift, the gift was shipped/delivered with a handwritten note to the person very quickly, and I had excellent customer service!! I was looking for a specific “woodland” theme and found the perfect items. I will definitely purchase from Nanny’s again! Such unique clothing and gifts!!

Adorable store. The owner is so friendly and willing to help find the perfect gift. She also seems to be very involved in the community. I loved that she held a diaper drive for those in need. I love that these items are high quality and not ones found in a typical chain store. Highly recommend!

As an island resident, I have been going to Nanny’s since before my first daughter was born in 2002. Nanny’s is an island icon, tradition and beloved mainstay even long before that. The lines carried, the love apparent that goes into the store and this long time tradition are unprecedented. Many other children stores have come and gone but Nanny’s remains a solid rock and an island icon. If you’re new to the island, visit Nanny’s and find the heart of Sanibel and our children. It will always be dear to me!

Literally the BEST kids clothing store. The owner , Megan , is the absolute sweetest person you will ever meet! If you are in need of some cute kids clothes, try it out first ! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

We’ve shopped here since 1982 and now there’s so much to choose from......this shop has it all!
Newborns to Tweens......stuffed animals, books, accessories, trendy swim. New owner since 2019 is very knowledgeable and so helpful. Grandparents, new moms and dads, and the kids will love everything here! So delighted to see it make a comeback.

This was a jewel find. As we came up the steps to Jerry's Grocery, it was right beside, hence totally convenient. This store is a grand parent's dream come true. All the clothes and books! We found five outfits in about two minutes, plus a lovely Italian sweater and two books. I can hardly wait to mail them out to San Francisco. The next time we come, I hope we have the children with us so they can choose. The stock is lovely and abundant with a full range of sizes. I am so grateful that Nanny's moved!!!

Love the increased selection and the updated look that the new owner has done! New name is Nanny's of Sanibel. I will DEFINITELY be shopping here for all of the future baby showers and friends' kids' birthday parties I get invited to!!
