I recently started using Mt. Dora Modern Dentistry. The staff are very professional and friendly. The office is clean and neat. I had 2 crowns and serious work on my gums all done in about 4 hours Dr. Le is quite skilled in numbing shots, no pain at all. I had insurance that covered most of the price. The best part is I walked out with my permanent crowns completely fixed.

I love this place! I mean no one really loves going to the dentist but since I like having teeth it’s not an option! It was my first time ant this office and everyone there is so nice and so professional, you feel welcome the minute you enter. I felt like I was in excellent care as they have all of the latest toys!, i.e. equipment. The dentist, Thien Van Le, actually is who picked me up from the waiting room and he was so nice and so professional, so knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable and knew exactly what was going on. He even asked me questions about me to, I felt like he cared to have me as his patient. I loved all the photos and explanations…except the scary skull one… I would highly recommend to everyone to make this their dental office.

I read the reviews before having my first appointment in 2 1/2 years at a Dentist. I knew nothing about this office and staff, and made an appointment because of my dental insurance website.

I didn't like the reviews I read and thought this experience might not go well. I was very pleased. The staff was pleasant and everyone was nice. The dentist was nice and detailed in his work. NOTHING was sold to me and nobody tried to scam me. First off, I needed work done and I knew that. I wasn't mad at them because I let me dental health go. They told me I needed a periodontal cleaning and scraping and they fit me in that day. I have good dental insurance. I don't understand how they got to $1449 worth of work, charging me $320, when they scraped my teeth with some metal objects and numbed them with a gel. I don't see what was so expensive about a hygienist deep cleaning my teeth.

With that being said, they did the cleaning which took about an hour and fit me in that days schedule. I didn't have to come back. All my questions were answered and nobody pressured me into anything.

They were also concerned and treated me well over the level of discomfort and sensitivity of my gums and offered me numbing gel and even shots to numb the pain if it got too bad.

Some of the reviews seemed mad that they had dental problems. The office and dental staff took good care of me and I plan on going there for all my dental work and would highly recommend them to others.

I learned about this office from a friend. I was happy to find that they would work with my insurance company as many offices do not accept my insurance. Everyone in the office was super nice and helpful. Dr. Dermarkarian was amazing. He listened as I explained my concerns, showed empathy with my situation, and explained everything in great detail. The hygenist, Ms. Morris, was very nice and also explained what she was doing. I look forward to working with this team as we work through my dental issues.

Thankful for this dental team. After a long weekend of pain, they were able to work me in and assisted with locating my dental information (when in pain you forget things). I was able to get all my imaging done and spoke with Kevin Shan, DMD and directed me on a treatment plan. Luckily the oral surgeon was on site and was able to alleviate my issue.

They even partner with credit partners to have payment options for visits.

All in all, 10/10, 5/5, whichever metric you want to go by, I recommend this dental office!

Andrew Dermarkarian, DDS was an amazing dentist. He fixed a filling that had long been needing to be replaced in one appointment. I came to this practice after having a terrifying experience with a previous dentist who talked me into getting implants that failed. The team took great care of me here. Dr. Li made me feel very comfortable as well as Carlos the office manager. He was very empathic of my situation and worked out a payment plan with me that was very reasonable.
Dr. Zulema removed my failed implants the same day I met with her and made sure I understood the procedure and my future expectations. I believe Logan was her assistant and he was very sweet and caring about my pain. I was very impressed with the entire experience and I have already referred family here :)

Best Dentist in town! Bianca did a great job on my exam and getting me ready for Dr. Shan who did a fantastic job at fixing my tooth that Aspen Dental across the street overlooked months before. It’s crazy how much damage one little seed can cause. The staff saved me money by suggesting their membership plan because I don’t have dental insurance. I felt really comfortable for my first visit here and will be sending the rest of my family here from now on. Once again thanks so much and it did turn out to be a Good Friday after all 👍

I want to thank Dr. Le for being so kind and welcoming! I have high amounts of anxiety going to the dentist and he made everything so much better! He explained everything with details for my understanding and I couldn’t thank him enough. I would recommend this dentist to anyone!!

This office has helped me with my dental anxiety they are so calm and collected and worked with me through my visit as a nervous wreck, I needed a lot of work done and they had options to help me afford my treatment, I appreciate the staff there so much from the front desk, to the dental assistants to the doctors and lastly the hygienist. They are phenomenal, great service, clean office and very knowledgeable and I will no longer be doing my dental service no where else. I highly recommend this office.

I had a tooth extracted yesterday. Dr. Le was wonderful. The extraction was totally painless from start to finish. The office staff was very helpful getting me in to get the extraction the same day I walked into the office. They saved me a lot of pain.

I started going to Modern Dentistry last month. I am so thankful I switched. Doctor Chan and the entire staff is amazing! They definitely know what they are doing. I cannot praise this Dentist office enough. It's the best dental care I have ever received. 5 stars 🌟 !

I also liked the office. They have rooms with one chair. I have been to offices in the past where it is one open room for all of the chairs.

I am extremely thankful for the professionalism, sensitivity, and above and beyond care I received during my last few dental visits. I am always happy here, but they were amazing during some rough treatments I had to get. I even got a blanket and headphones to help me relax. I appreciated the thoughtfulness for my comfort as well as my financial situation.

I cannot thank Dr. Cruz for her selflessness over the weekend. She performed a surgery on 4 of my top teeth at one time last Thursday and by Saturday I was in an extreme amount of pain with a knot under my left eye. Dr, Cruz gave me her cell number in case of an emergency and I contacted her about the pain I was experiencing. Dr. Cruz generously gave up time from her son's birthday party where she had family visiting, to not only send in prescriptions to 1 pharmacy, but 2 because the one she sent it to prior was not open. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and she made sure to prescibe me meds that were safe for my baby. She's a very caring, selflessness individual who goes out of her way for her patients. I can't thank her enough. Dr. Chan is also an amazing doctor, I know he would have done the same for me if I had contacted him. Highly recommend Dr. Chan for dental needs and Dr. Cruz as a surgeon.
