I did my registration online and it couldn't have been more easy. I came to the office made my way to the information desk and Darlene made the process extremely simple. Even made an appointment for something that I could also get done while I was here. If I could give Darlene 10 Stars I would. While I'm writing this she's helping the next person as much as she helped me and even stopped passerby's to make sure that they had a good experience. Darlene is definitely a gem. Thanks Darlene

5 stars is a understatement by far for the service I received from Chris C.
I contacted the Bay county property appraisers office with a question about a property my wife and I had recently purchased. After explaining to the very kind lady who fielded the call, and explaining my situation she advised me that I would need to speak with Chris C about this and that she will transfer me to him. At this point I'm thinking ah the old bait and switch has just taken place and I'm now preparing to get Chris's voicemail. Much to my surprise Chris answered the phone and asked how could he help me. I advised him of my situation, and he began to review information pertaining to my situation. Chris gave me all the info that he could pertaining to my situation at that time, and even advised me that if I would like to come in the office and view the material I was more than welcome to. At this point I was absolutely amazed at the service I had received, and was almost speechless. Our land purchase up to this point had been a complete nightmare, and after speaking with Chris for just a short while I felt much better about the whole situation. I thought that this would be the end of our dealings, and that I needed to get to work figuring out the solution to my problem. Was I ever wrong the next morning I got a call from Chris. He advised me that after we got off the phone yesterday that he continued to do some digging, and was able to find some more very helpful information pertaining to my situation. At this point I know God has his hands in this situation, because people like Chris are truly ONE in a MILLION these days, and It seems as if I always get number 999,999 every time. Not this time though to me it's like I hit the lotto with Chris's customer service. He was very humble when I continually thanked him for his help he just said it is their job to make sure the information is correct to the best of their abilities. While that may be true that Chris was just doing his job, and had done nothing more for me than he would do for the next person it meant a whole lot more to me. Mr. Chris once again sir my wife and I want to say thank you for being an amazing person. I hope Bay County does whatever it takes to keep you around, because it is people like you who give people like me hope that there are still some good people left out there. How could anyone give this property tax department five stars .One it totally impossible to get a person to answer questions on the phone.Second this tax bill is totally not self explanatory tells you only pay one amount crazy,just take a example from other states forms .Tells you exactly what you owe not if and or buys. This bay county property tax bill is totally confusing.
