Friendly, professional, caring personnel. Brian Gallagher is a wonderful funeral director who guided our family through each step of the process for burying our loved one. Brian patiently explained all details to us and obtained full military honors for our loved one. All arrangements were performed flawlessly with compassion. Jonathan Lowery ensured that the cemetery was prepared and ready for our arrival. It was very nice and comfortable. Kevin Hall provided assistance at the cemetery and was very patient with our family allowing us to stay as long as needed. Tracie Bachman, Sherry Bradshaw, Kelsey Johann, and Kiersten Robertson exceeded standards by compassionately providing information and administrative assistance. Our family sincerely appreciates the assistance of all personnel including other behind-the-scenes professionals who helped make this event easy and comfortable. For these unfortunate times in our lives we highly recommend Kent-Forest Lawn funeral services.

I want to let everyone know that my family and I have had a wonderful experience with Kent forest funeral home. After losing my husband I could not get in touch with the funeral home we wanted so I called Kent funeral home they are the most reliable professional and caring group of people in funeral business. My husband is an African American and he looked so natural skin color and hair was on point we was very impressed With how well he looked they did a wonderful job. If i ever need too use a funeral home again better believe it will be Kent

I can’t recommend Kent-Forest Lawn highly enough! The caring and compassion they showed me and my family was exceptional. When my husband passed away unexpectedly, I was feeling very overwhelmed and lost. I am not originally from this area and was not familiar with any of the funeral homes here. They were recommended to me by a friend. Kathy, their family service counselor, called me within hours of notifying the hospital which funeral home I had chosen. She called to Introduce herself, and let me know they would be handling my husband‘s remains. She then asked if I was doing OK and if there was anything I needed. I appreciated that so much! I knew immediately I had made the right choice. When I went to the funeral home with my daughter to meet with them, Brian (their location manager) and Kathy were so kind and so patient with me. Kathy even took notes for me because she knew I probably wouldn’t remember everything we discussed, and she was right. I appreciated that so much! They both made the entire process a pleasant and positive experience. So much so, that I preplanned my my own cremation and services with them too.

When one loses their father or mother or any close loved one, there are so many things we go thru. Even though we try to except the loss, we have roaring emotions and our nerves are as raw as can be. I cant say enough about the kindness, attentiveness, and true love we received from Kent Forrest Lawn Funeral Home. Their staff made the heart breaking event so personalized and truly beautiful. In this case we lost a father, grandfather, great grandfather and personally my best friend…my dad. Kent Forrest Lawn Funeral Home made my Father’s memorial service and internment as professional as could have been done with all the military and life recognitions. The staff was warm, caring and called at times just to check on family especially my mother. I must give special thanks to KathyMcKenzie, our consultant at Kent Forrest Lawn. She was caring and kept in touch at all hours of the day and night. She showed such
concern and gave more hugs and warm fuzzies thru the whole event. I cant say enough about her. John Webb, the director made me feel like my father was a life long friend of his which made me feel welcome, comforted and truly loved. These folks at Kent Forrest Lawn are top notch folks and have been for so many years here in Panama City. I suggest to anyone, if you haven’t made your end of life plans… you should contact Kathy and get your plans in order. The cost is naturally not an easy thing and the sooner you begin paying for it the better. The main thing is having your interests taken into consideration upon your passing. This is a complicated, expensive process and early planning and pre payment of things will help your family thru a very difficult time. I thank you Kent Forrest Lawn for everything you have done as well as making me aware of what I must do to prepare for my own passing. The group is loving, patient, and very flexible. I live out of state from Florida. My whole experience with Kent Forrest was ok. Kesley Johann is wonderful. Any questions I had Kelsey had the answer to or got me the answer in a timely manner. It was already a stressful time and having someone that actually cared vs “ it’s just a job “ mattered. I personally give her 5 stars and the funeral home 3. Big Boss she deserves a promotion.

Contacted Katherine McKenzie to see if she could help us locate my granddaughter’s grave. Our precious Abagail passed away during delivery in 2003 and we never got to meet her. All this time went by and she never had a headstone - another person purchased the plot but never followed up with a headstone. Katherine immediately contacted one of the staff at Garden of Memories to see if he could help us. He actually brought out the Babyland map and marked her location! It was emotional but we were all so happy. Katherine then told us to come to the office and she would help us create a headstone for our Abagail. So my husband and Abagail’s two younger sisters went and met her and got the process started. Her sisters designed it with Katherine’s help! It’s beautiful and we can’t wait to see it on her grave. Unfortunately my daughter passed away in 2009 and never got the opportunity to visit Abagail with her younger daughters but I know she is so proud of them taking care of their big sister.

My husband at age 55 died unexpectedly and suddenly. My heart felt like it burst with his. I was lost. Kent Forrest, Tom and Charlie, walked me gently through what had to be done and helped me give my husband his final wishes. All was done with compassion and professionalism. Though a few hiccups to start with, thanks to Mr Gallagher and especially Ms Kiersten Robertson, my wife was laid to rest in a beautuful and serene setting by our son. I can't thank Ms. Robertson enough for her tenacity in ensuring a fitting location and ceremony befitting my wife of 45 years. These folks get it.

These folks did an extremely professional and competent job for the full set of services for my recently passed family member from the initial steps to the final cemetery service. They went out of their way to provide extra viewing time for the family and very professional video and stationery products. Every member of their staff worked hard to fulfill every aspect of obligation and communication along the way. All the interactions with family and church members were seamless. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Kiersten was so caring and really listened to my personal issue today regarding my Parent’s Headstone and Ledger Installation and delivery Saturday April 6, 2024. Kiersten took her personal time to go to the cemetery today, take photographs and text to me tonight to ease my mind ! I am incredibly GRATEFUL to Kiersten for her EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Mrs. Stephanie was awesome in this very delicate time for our family. I greatly appreciated everything she has done for our daughter.

What started out as one of the worst days of my life and the feeling of loss; Brian and Holly were very compassionate and respectful as they assisted me with my brothers final arrangements. I have used Kent-Forest for all of my familys funeral services over the last decade and each time they have went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable and walked me through each step of the process and what to expect. They made sure my loved ones were taken care of with dignity and respect.

Bryan was great, Kent Forest was great! Together, they helped us through a very tough time. When we lost our baby, the last thing I wanted to do was be pressured into purchases. I was very pleased to leave the funeral home with a new outlook. I am forever grateful to them for everything they have done!

If i could give the Funeral Home 100 stars i would. My husband passed on September 10, 2023 he was cremated with Kent-Forest Funeral Home. Our family planned the arrangements for his us to have a service on September 22 , 2023. Kent-Forest had seven days to have the ashes prepared. The director told me it usually takes 12-14 days. If i can remember correctly. Everyone that worked with us preformed a miracle. We had our family’s ashes just in time for us to leave state for his services. The folks at Kent-Forest Funeral home have my up most respect and gratitude for their warm support. Thank you for all that you all do. The Pauline family. ❤

The compassion, attention to details, and honesty from them made a very difficult situation was refreshing. From Rusty and Kevin at our home to Charlie and Brian in the office, they were understanding, listened to our needs and questions and answered with such pose and integrity, that we were blessed to have them on this journey.
