We were there this morning having breakfast before boarding the Badger. They were very busy. The waitress informed us she was alone and we could seat ourselves. I have to admit, I initially thought it wasn't going to be a good experience. Boy was I wrong. The waitress kept the coffee full. The food was done quickly and correctly. And the prices were extremely reasonable. I had steak and eggs. My daughter had eggs benedict and a swedish burrito. The food really was very good. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely visit and highly recommend.

There was a wait to be seated as they were packed, but the wait wasn't long at all, the wait staff was excellent and the food was awesome, been looking for a place with eggs Benedict and it was delicious. As busy as they were our food was on the table much sooner than we thought it would be. Shows they have a great staff. Highly recommend if you haven't been there.

I ordered to-go and waited outside on the bench with my pup. About 10 minutes later i got my food. I ordered an egg sausage sandwich, which was very good. I would come back here again.

Very busy little place! Downtown vintage place with delicious food like grandma used to make! Custom quilted window coverings, booth and table style dining, nautical theme incorporating some USS Badger photos, it is a quaint little place that packs a big punch! Best of all our service was great, greeted by smiles, and coffee kept hot. Will be going again. Only bad thing was, most popular spot in town, and there can be a wait, and there really is no waiting area. Worth it.

Had family visiting came for breakfast no reservation party of 8 seated right away staff took a picture for me fast service great food.

Brenda’s cafe is a staple of downtown Ludington. Each time my fiancé and I visit we make a point to stop here for a meal. We love the breakfast! The stuffed French toast is one of the best items on the menu! It is impressive to see Brenda running around and making sure everything runs swimmingly. Your coffee will always be hot and fresh here! Make sure to stop by if you’re hungry - if there’s a wait it’s totally worth it! Also, the bathrooms are very clean especially considering the high volume of traffic the establishment serves.

Had a little wait, but was definitely worth the wait. There where four of us all of our breakfasts were amazing and super fresh. Service was top notch. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful place for breakfast! We loved the decor and the service was terrific. We had the Swedish burrito with lignonberries and the country scramble. Both were fantastic. Our server kept the coffee coming. I highly recommend them!

I had an early breakfast here on a sunny morning in late June. Terrific atmosphere, customers were all enjoying themselves, and a pleasant, smiling server who turned out to be Brenda. Delicious breakfast food and it was inexpensive. Whenever I visit this town again I will definitely eat here.

Wife and I in Ludington for SS Badger Night cruise and stopped here for breakfast. Absolutely best value for dollar we've had in a long time, the cook knows his craft, everything hot and on time even though it was a bit of a rush when we were there. Don't pass it up! Right on James Street close to the docks.

Walked in and was quickly seated with no wait. Meagen was our server and she did a fantastic job. Orders were delivered fast and the taste was second to none. Happy to have found my new favorite restaurant in Ludington.
Ordered coffee, Monte Cristo, sprite, and a Reuben sandwich with tater tots. The 50¢ upcharge for the tater tots is definitely worth it. They were crunchy little bites of potato bliss. Can pay by scanning the QR code on the bottom of receipt. It worked great.

I absolutely love this place. Im not from the area so I really had no clue where to go for breakfast. I read all the great reviews on Google Maps. Seemed like the food was fantastic and the service was over the top.

The reviews didn’t disappoint! The staff here is so friendly and the food is amazing. I ordered the meat lovers omelette. The initial appearance was under whelming and a little lackluster. But I’ll tell you, the taste made up for it for sure. Coming back here again!

Good food found here! All of the breakfast items we ordered were good. The atmosphere is very fun, Great Lakes nautical themed.

Classic family diner with standard breakfast fare and a variety of specials. Service was very friendly and they easily accommodated our larger group when another nearby restaurant would only split up our group at separate tables.

3 words - bring your appetite. My coffee cup was never empty and neither was my husband's soda. Could not finish my breakfast. Food was delicious 😋. Priced reasonable. I am glad we found it on our last meal in town, but wish we had come sooner. Very friendly staff too. It's the whole package.
