Blu Moon

Lobster nachos, sushi, and kid's meals were all delicious. My picky girl requested the sandwich be made as a tortilla roll-up instead, and they happily obliged. Cute covered rooftop dining was a plus on this beautiful day. The wonderful server Charlie was the cherry on top. Thank you!

Our time at Blu Moon was nothing short of amazing. We got the Spicy Tuna rolls, Vegas Rolls, and the Laotion Pasta Bowl. Our drinks were Mango & Pomegranate Martinis. They were all very good, especially the Vegas Rolls! So awesome that they offer sushi but it's not there entire menu. Atmosphere was perfect for our anniversary and service was very smooth. Our waitress tended to us quickly and was very friendly. Highly recommend eating here!

Menu has a wide range of dishes including pasta, sushi, seafood and standard bar offerings. Service can be slow during the rush, but it was worth the wait in my opinion. They have a dog friendly outdoor patio and a cool rooftop space.

I ate at the Blu Moon restaurant on 06/15/2024. I ordered the fajita nachos and added refried beans and jalapenos to it. The order was extremely delicious and well put together. The order was really hot. The speed of service was exceptionally fast. The waitress who waited on me was very courteous and made me feel welcome. I really enjoyed the salsa. The salsa they serve here is by far the best I ever had. The wait staff was always smiling and friendly. They definitely communicate well with their customers. My overall experience was by far the best that I ever experienced in a sit down restaurant. Kudos to the entire staff at the Blu Moon restaurant in Ludington. I totally recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

This place is a hidden amazing sushi place!! Service was awesome, presentation was spot on…and I got twice as much sushi and food for half the cost of any other place I’ve eaten in northern Michigan!! I also ordered a sangria to drink…and it was actually a full glass!! Not filled to the brim with ice or a miniature wine glass. The only thing I would mention is that their spicy isn’t really that spicy. But flavors were delicious! Definitely will go back….with all of my friends!!

We had delightful dinner after a 45 minute wait for a seat. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer was very crispy and the spicy sauce was the perfect addition. My wife really enjoyed the Bay of Fundy Salmon with the mashed potatoes, bacon and green beans, and the spicy creamed corn. My Laotian Noodle Bowl was full of very crispy vegetables and chicken. The sweet and spicy sauce made a very flavorful meal with an excellent portion size. We shared the creme brulee for dessert. It was unique with a slight hint of salted caramel to it. The entire staff was friendly and on task. They were working hard to move people through. Our server,Alaina , was awesome. Her personality was exactly what we appreciate, a little bit of personal conversation and an attention to detail that completed the dining experience.

Went in and ordered take out at the bar. The inside is industrial and hip. Great vibe overall. Ordered the Forest Floor mushroom soup and the House Wontons. Both very delicious. The wontons had great flavor and loved the dipping sauce. The soup was a bit peppery but yummy. They open at 4pm so you will want to plan accordingly.

We always have such a good time when we come here to eat. It's a great atmosphere, staff is upbeat and friendly, and the food is so good!
Take advantage of their specials on Sushi Tuesdays. It's delicious sushi and some rolls are just $7.99.
Blu Moon is open year-round and they have additional weekly specials throughout the year.

This was our first time here and I can’t tell you enough, how wonderful the service was. Yvette was our server, and she was so kind, fast, efficient and professional. My margarita on the rocks was delicious! We ordered the vegan potstickers for our appetizer and we wish we would’ve ordered more of them! They were fantastic! We each got a noodle bowl thing, and it was ok, but a little too salty. Overall, we had a great experience here, and we will be back the next time we’re in town.

Excellent food! Highly recommended! I love the interior design and it’s very pretty! I’m not from here so it felt cool to feel a local vibe in this restaurant.

The wait was around 45 minutes to get a table on the roof but there were plenty of benches and things to see nearby during the wait. The rooftop was cool and completely shaded.

Our server, Ben, was incredible and made us feel comfortable more than any server we've ever had (in any restaurant). He was quite knowledgeable about the food and drink selections and was able to help us make decisions to suit our tastes. What a great guy!

The food was delicious - the lobster nachos had large chunks of lobster in them! The sushi was pretty good as well, and my burger hit the spot. We hear the downstairs menu has different options so we would love to go back and try them!

Great service, good atmosphere, and really good food. I had their land and sea special. The steak was good, the vegetables were really good, and whatever sauce they put on the fried shrimp was literally the tastiest thing I've ever eaten. Literally. Not figuratively, literally.

Delicious Vegan/Vegetarian appetizer options. Fun, cozy atmosphere. Highly reccomend marinated, fried button mushrooms with ranch.

The food was fantastic! The band bang shrimp is amazing. The roof top dining/bar is great with the beautiful Michigan weather. Will for sure be coming back here for a date with my wife. Also, get a rum drink and thank me later.

Perfect place for someone who has had gastric bypass. Low carb and protein packed with lots of flavor, if you know how to order right. Just wonderful!!
