Truly cannot say enough good things about my experience with Flooring America. I worked with both Josh and Gabby and they were absolutely wonderful. While speaking with Josh about my dream flooring and price point he literally found me the perfect product that will work for my family’s lifestyle but also gave me the style and finish I was so hoping for. After choosing the flooring Gabby was able to talk me through the ordering process and got me the best possible price. Both team members have been so communicative and just amazing. Cannot recommend this location enough.

I had a wonderful experience at Flooring America thanks to Michael Trader and his excellent team. Michael was great to work with—he’s polite, courteous, patient, responsive, and very personable. He was knowledgeable about the many tile options in the store and took time to answer my questions and address my concerns. When I finally made my tile selection, I was able to get exactly what I wanted and at a reasonable price. The tile arrived within a week, and this pickup process was quick and went smoothly. Communication was outstanding throughout the entire shopping experience. The tile is high-quality and looks absolutely beautiful in my bathroom—I love it! (I will post more photos when the work is complete.) Micheal and Gabby both took great care of me throughout the experience, and I can’t thank them enough. I will definitely shop at Flooring America for my next project, and highly recommend them!

My family had a great experience with Flooring America Springfield. We worked mostly with Josh Walton who was knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and very professional. Our contractor recommended we put in LVT and we knew nothing about it. We went to nearly every flooring store in Central Illinois and not only did we get great customer service at Flooring America, but in my opinion the selection and prices can’t be beat! I would 100% recommend using Flooring America - helpful, honest, and all around great. Ask for Josh!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Josh was easy to work with. He made helpful suggestions without pressure sales. Once we made our decision, he took care of everything, even on his day off. Everyone was friendly and helpful when we came to pick up our flooring, which came in as promised. A big thanks to Flooring America, Michael Trader, and Zach the installer, for making my major project and investment a seamless process. To start with, I was new to the products purchased and only had a general idea of what I was after. Michael listened closely and came up with several excellent samples on the spot, then had me look at a stunning coordinating product that I wasn’t even looking for. Sold! It all looks very classic, yet up-to-date.

The installation process was exactly as promised. One item was slightly back ordered, but I knew this up front. In the end it didn’t matter, because it worked out better with other house projects and updates. Everything was on time as discussed.

One other item that bears mentioning, is one as a female negotiating a large remodeling project. So often it’s hard to trust companies’ and salespeople, but never once did I feel exploited for my lack of knowledge or experience. I was treated with respect and honesty from start to finish. I’m grateful to Michael and his team for making my project so much fun and for making my vision come true!

Mike went above and beyond to help us get the best deal for my house that I was selling. Even though the house is in Decatur, he worked with me to make sure that the carpet would be laid in a timely manner. He assured me and I felt like we were in good hands. We are repeat customers who have worked with Mike several times. We are always greeted with a smile and friendly hello, as well as his knowledge and confidence. After bad experiences with big box stores and dishonest salespeople at other small, flooring businesses, we will only shop at Flooring America with Mike. .

I worked with Michael Trader to replace the flooring in a bedroom from carpet to luxury vinyl in a home I recently purchased. The luxury vinyl that he helped me choose was a spot on match to the color of 20 year old hardwood that was in the rest of the house. I had his team install the flooring, which they got done quickly.

I called Flooring America for a quote on some Mannington sheet vinyl. I had been to another flooring store and was hoping to get a better price at Flooring America. Josh did a great job answering all of my questions and helped me get exactly what I wanted. His quote was less than the other flooring store and his customer service skills made all the difference. I will definitely return to Flooring America for my future flooring needs. Josh provided me the best customer service that I have received in years. It is refreshing to see that a company still values great customer service and hires great employees like Josh.

Josh responded quickly to my request for LVT quote and gave advice on exactly what additional item I needed. My order arrived sooner than I expected and I was thoroughly pleased with the transaction from start to finish - courtesy, professionalism, pricing, order fulfillment. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Josh!

We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at Flooring America. Michael was so patient helping us find the right floor for our home. The installer Greg was punctual, professional and did a great job. We are so happy that we chose Flooring America and would highly recommend them to others.

Michael at Flooring America did a wonderful job of assisting us after we experienced disappointing customer service at another local carpet store. The other popular retail flooring company demanded, with no opportunity to discuss, 100% down payment on all labor and material. I have never encountered a similar request from a flooring company. I was also informed that it would be two months before our carpet could be installed.

Frustrated and concerned about the request for full payment two months out from the scheduled installation, we decided to visit Flooring America.

Michael was able to provide us with the exact same carpet and pad that we had selected from the other local company for almost the same cost but with some key differences.

Flooring America only required 50% down on our $4,000.00 flooring project and installed the carpet within 3 weeks. Our carpet was installed by Andy who completed an outstanding professional installation. We love our new carpet and are happy that we decided to walk into Flooring America.
