Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Anthony in bakery is ALWAYS very helpful and really takes the time to make sure you get exactly what you ordered! He’s one of the best examples of what HyVee employees should be! I worked for another HyVee store, so I know. Thank you.

Good produce and frozen section. Steaks/chicken not quite as good as fareway, but they have a better brat/burger selection. Also, their seafood selection is pretty much the best around.

I go here for all my deli meats/cheeses almost exclusively. Only place around to get sliced fresh mortadella, sopprasetta, prosciutto, etc. At times they have really good imported selections.

Their bakery also has a good pastry/donut selection. The fresh baked bread is my go-to. Great brioche buns, the French bread is also wonderful with soups!

Italian loafs cheaper and better than the mass produced versions in the bread aisle.

Also a pretty decent selection of pickled veg, gardenia, olives, peppers, spreads, and cheeses.

Wine and spirits has a nice selection as well, though I'm retired from drinking. Never had an issue finding new IPAs, new wines, or whatever liquor I needed.

I utilized the customer service yo have some paperwork faxed. The gentleman who helped me made the process go so easy and explained everything.

It was good. Except for the guy working, he must not have scanned for my 50cents off gas coupon correctly. It wasnt on my card when I got home. That was disappointing considering that was the main reason I had went there. Decent place

We hold the local Lions Club meeting there. We can get lunch before or after the meeting.

The best quality is the Hy- vee's rule; if you need healthy food, best wine, just go there. There is also a great restaurant and others services that you will enjoy. Go and try it.

We shop at the Hy-Vee on Ansborogh Ave, they let us use our Ucard. The Hy-Vee on University Ave doesn't take Ucards.

Wide variety of products at reasonable prices.

Nice store, good specialty foods selection. Very nice meat and seafood department. Love the freshly baked bread varieties.

Love the flower department ladies. Always amazing.

Not my main store, but I like going there for a change of pace. Really helpful and friendly associates.

Always have what I need and eager to help find something I can't find

Always able to find what I'm looking for and 95% of the time the shelves are fully stocked and I'm not having to dodge cats or pallets of product waiting to be shelved. And as always it's always quick for checking out so I can get in and out in a hurry.

Absolutely love this store. I’m in a wheelchair. Motorized chairs readily available. And employees right there to get things out of reach. Even with these times of shortages, the management makes sure they have as much as possible. Fair prices and great deals too.

I recently had a large work event and I needed to cater coffee. The larger Hy-Vee locations were already busy. Even though this Hy-Vee has a smaller kitchen, Ryan, the kitchen manager made it work for us. He truly went above and beyond, to secure extra beverage storage to transport large amounts of coffee, recruit help in brewing large amounts of coffee and schedule staff to transport it to and from our event in Cedar Falls. I know it was a lot to ask but Ryan was super helpful and jumped into action to make it work. Thank you!
