Nice local bait shop near downtown Waterloo. If they don't have it you probably don't need it. I found some ice jigs that hadn't been made in 10 years which was a nice surprise. If you are in the area it is worthwhile to stop in and see what they have to offer.

Hank's has always been a great go to place for all things walleye, crappie, catfish, but not so much for bass anglers. That's changed alot over the last couple of years and they're carrying an enormous range of bass lures now. The boys are always helpful as well.

Hank's is a fantastic store plain and simple. I'm from the Kawartha Lakes area in Canada and make it a point to visit the store a few times each year when in Iowa. Mike and the crew are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and have provided a great experience every time I've been in the store. Forget the box stores and come over to Hank's...you won't be disappointed.

This place is everything a tackle shop should be. It reminds me of the tackle shops that were around when I was a kid only much bigger, cleaner, better organized and with the absence of the grumpy old men who act like you're bothering them when you ask for help. They have a wide assortment of bait, tackle and gear. In the back there is an ever changing clearance section that I look through every time I'm there. Last week I picked up a brand new two-piece catfish rod for twelve bucks. And if you're hard up for bait in the middle of the night they have a bait vending machine out front. If you're in Waterloo, this is a must stop!

Friendliest staff that are always knowledgeable and helpful. My grandpa had gone to hanks for years and took me my whole life and I take my kids as well!

Hard to find a reliable bait and tackle store. These guys pretty much have it all for almost every variety of fish. Great hours and friendly staff.

This place is a pretty cool baitshop. I definitely recommend going here if you are in the area.

They can quite an assortment of tackle. A lot of good quality stuff, that you won't find at walmart! Plus, it's a fishing tackle business. Who doesn't love fishing?

Being a person that tries to support local I find myself being partial to locations such as these. However this place is above and beyond most tackle/bait shops. I cannot say enough good things. Shame it is SO far away but worth the trip.

End of August and they have ice fishing equipment out. Outstanding. If you are looking for anything to do with fishing this is your store. Employee's extremely helpful.
