Mills Family Pharmacy

Everyone is so friendly. They go above and beyond to take care of customers. I swapped all of my prescriptions over from Walgreens in January 2023 after dealing with yet another rude pharmacy technician during a specific medication shortage, which continues to this day. When I went to Mills, I was taken seriously and treated with respect. They actually care about whether patients can get their medications in a timely manner. Had I realized what it’s like to be treated so well by a pharmacy, I would have switched over years ago. Mills provides all of the same services and has access to the same medications as the big chains. Only with them, all of it comes with exceptional customer service, not horrible attitudes. I highly recommend them!

They are very friendly and HELPFUL. We have had issues with our insurance and what they won’t cover which are most things. They really go the extra mile. It’s so refreshing after dealing with Kroeger, CVS and Walgreens. Thank you MILLS

I wish I could bottle up this "Mills Family Pharmacy goodness" and take it with me everywhere! I switched to Mills from Walgreens (on Hwy 99/New Salem) about a year ago after a series of incredibly awful experiences & it's the best thing our family ever did. It's a longer drive, BUT THIS LOCAL GOODNESS IS SO WORTH IT... I never regret going there. I thought a smaller "home town" pharmacy would be more expensive, but most of the time... IT'S LESS OR THE SAME! And they do compounding, so the custom scripts are always available! They are kind - respectful - compassionate - helpful beyond words. Honestly, just WINNING at life, business, healthcare & customer service! I won't get started on how amazing & cute their gift shop is. The only "half-complaint" is it's location off of Church St./Hwy 231. However, I would endure the insanity of Church St. any day, because of the top -level experience they always provide. Maybe they should teach these other pharmacies "how to pharmacy" - LOL. Just make the switch to Mills, you won't ever look back & you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. So thankful to have this local family run business right here in Murfreesboro!

I was prescribed a new medication. When I went to my pharmacy they told me they were unable to get it and had no ETA of receiving it. I called Mills Family Pharmacy and they were able to get the medication and have it delivered within 2 days! On top of this excellent customer service they also told me where to go online and retrieve a mfr coupon that saved hundreds! This place is absolutely amazing and I will be switching to them as my full time pharmacy. I have received nothing but the best customer service and friendliness! Thank you, Mills Family 🙂

After dealing with Walgreens shenanigans for far too long (preferred pharmacy with our insurance), we finally made the decision to switch to a local family pharmacy.
I emailed to make sure we could get my husband's ADHD meds (he'd been without them for over a month due to Walgreens having them on back order).
My husband had all his medications filled the next day within 5 minutes.
I couldn't be more thrilled about our first interaction with Mills, and I can't wait for all of our meds to be transfered there as we need them.

I have been coming here for quite a while now. The service is always top notch and the staff seems friendly and helpful. I'm a big supporter of small business and these guys do it right. Give them a try if you're tired of the big corporation pharmacies.

my friends and i got stuck on the side of the highway with no gas, it was pretty scary as were all teenage girls and we didn’t know what to do. thankfully the owner of this pharmacy stopped to help us, he was so kind and gave us gas for free. this type of kindness is undoubtedly shown in his business, definitely go! customer service is through the roof

I normally do not write or comment on businesses but, when I come across good people. I will share my experiences with so others will know where to go & not to go service & their actions shows GENUINE! My Dear Community of Murfreesboro , TN(Rutherford) county. Mills Family Phramacy go out of their way to help people & very Informative about anything they sell in their phramacy they are very selective on items in their pharmacy & that is very rare , that takes thoughtfulness people to do that meaning they will not have anything in their pharmacy that they would not have in their homes nor take themselves.( pay attention) That says alot about Mills family Phramacy . If you have any questions they are one of the most honest people/places that I have had the honor of doing business with. Meaning they care about the community & give back anyway they can. Mr.Chad along with Mr. Craig , Ms. Brooke & Ms.Danielle with the others in the family. I have compound rx with them for 4 years & I had a request Ms.Danielle went out of her way to document my chart & make sure they will be able to have this particular item. The entire Mills family are good people. If you complain about Mills Family Phramacy re-examine the situation & see where you went wrong with yourself & see what is going on with you . You can not be angry with someone Genuinely trying to help you that is a YOU issue go somewhere & pray. A lot of issues go back to Your insurance companies go speak with them. Alot that can be done in situations you ask & pray to get someone that will assist you with theses insurance companies people Mills Family will deliver your meds to your home Please do not ruined this for everyone because your deflecting your issues on everyone else. As a community people who have self respect ( Mills Family Phramacy) will respect You. Most businesses will tell you anything stop supporting businesses like that but Mills are sweet people as a whole. I have lived here for 4 years they have been one of the most professional & caring businesses I know. I Love you Mills Family Pharmacy keep doing an amazing job you all. I am also transferring all my other prescriptions to you all. Besides they do what they say ( their word is good) you can not beat that. Recognize good people . I have a compounded RX that I get here. This place has the friendliest staff in town. Very accommodating. Don’t let the Family in their name fool you. They compete right up there with the big boys as far as pricing is concerned and they don’t rush you through either. Can’t say enough about them - just wish they had a drive thru! Try them once you will be pleasantly surprised!

I have been using Mills Family Pharmacy for about 3 years, I don't go often, but recently my little one was sick and we left the pediatrician and got to the drive thru right at 6pm when they were closing. They couldn't find the prescription for the antibiotics we were prescribed so they went out of their way and called the on call service at the pediatrician office and waited for them to send over the prescription, and all this after they were technically closed. They let us hang out in the drive thru and updated me often. They were so kind and helpful. We live in Mount Juliet but still drive to Mills. They are so compassionate and caring. Cannot recommend them enough!

My friends and I ran out of gas on the side of the highway. The owner of mills family pharmacy pulled over to see what was wrong, went to the gas station and got us gas. We need more people like him and his son. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. I am a dawg but today I’ll say roll tide.

I can’t say enough good things about Mills Family Pharmacy! I am prescribed a medication that I am typically given a hard time about and pharmacies have turned their nose up at me or just turned me away. Mills Pharmacy did the exact opposite! They treated me so kindly and with so much respect and like an actual human that I left and cried in my car because my usual interactions with pharmacies are horrific. I am literally just in awe of how great their service was, how kindly they treated me and because it’s also an adorable pharmacy with the cutest little gift shop! You are all amazing and I just can’t thank you enough! Thank you for treating me like a human 💛

What a great set of folks! Just transferred my compounded Rx over here and the price was about 12% less than I had been paying. And they were so much more knowledgeable, too. And much more prompt. Very impressed! And if you're just out shopping, the store has beautiful gifts, too!

Great customer service everyone was super friendly and they really went the extra mile to help with my daughters medicine after surgery. I went to atleast 15 different pharmacies in 4 counties and finally someone took the time to listen and understand she took time and called the other pharmacy and got everything straightened out. I will definitely come back here!

We have enjoyed the friendly service for years but today they went above and beyond, delivering medication to our home after my husbands surgery! This is the kind of hometown service that my Grandmother experienced. Unheard of in these days! Why go to chain drug stores when you have folks like this in town!!

Dr. Chad Mills is a great guy - very personable and trustworthy. They give flu shots that don't hurt a bit! And the new pharmacy building is really nice. You will love it!
