Kroger Pharmacy

I love my neighborhood Kroger, but there is a really weird attendant that works at the self checkout area. He always gets way too close to me when I am checking out just so he can get my basket. He once jumped in front of me so he could ring up my avocado, and I didn't really appreciate it. I'm a grown man and I've been ringing up my own avocados for longer than this guy has been employable. There is something little EVERY time I go through self-scan which is where I go when I'm not really trying to interact with anyone. He stands almost directly in my way so he can greet me, and I find his greetings to be sarcastic or sycophantic. The last incident was that he again stood in my way on my way out with my groceries and he said "good luck, sir" which I found to be sarcastic and disrespectful. Good luck for what? Tell this guy to tone it down. You know exactly who it is.

Okay ... should have done this long ago.

I have been patronizing this pharmacy for many, many years. And, as the lucky, lifetime winner of two (count 'em 2) incurable diseases, I know a little something about pharmacies.

These people are excellent beyond compare. They are light years ahead of the competition in terms of professionalism, competence, knowledge, and customer care. I don't know how they do it ... or how such a small business culture evolved, but there it is.

I once had to get a prescription filled at a neighboring Kroger and the difference in basic, simple attitude between the two locations was palpable and stark. One group of employees seemed to be sooooo busy that they couldn't make eye contact or change their expression from the permanent scowl they were wearing. In contrast the Hwy 100 pharmacy employees are warm, authentically caring, helpful, sincere and, most of all, professional.

Its easy to see for yourself. Visit the one on Hwy 70, then drop by the Hwy 100 store. Just ask a question at each. You'll see what I mean. It's amazing, frankly.

Pharmacist Adam went the extra mile to find a Kroger that had the shingles eye ointment that I needed (his pharmacy did not have it) and he did the research to find a coupon to take the price from $350 to $35.00. I really appreciated his care and service!

Really nice staff. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They are very patient and answer questions. They also helped me to figure out what option was the least expensive for a prescription I was picking up. That was well above and beyond.

The best staff ever!

They filled my last minute script right before closing 🙏. My impression is that all pharmacies are overloaded but this Kroger is trying to keep its head above water so I'm grateful.

Fast, accurate in store and out

Alerted Monday that a prescription was ready. Went by Tuesday to pick it up and was told that it was being filled Wednesday because they were out of inventory. This has happened more often than not.

Went by Thursday at 8:10 because Google said they’re open at 8:00. Closed with on one in sight.

Posting this because there is never a manager at this store present, so hoping for action.

Walked in, rude pharmacy tech acted like I was crazy for wanting to drop off a prescription and wait on it when I had never been there before. Turned out I had been there it had just been a long time and I didn’t remember. They told me it would take at least an hour to fill a prescription for #12 pills.

Horrible service and slower than maple syrup in January.
