Chophouse

This restaurant was a recommendation from others who visited the area. Everyone in our group has never been to this restaurant.

It is a very nice restaurant, with excellent service, and a warm & welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good as well. This was a work gathering and a large party. The attention and service were great, and every appetizer, dish, drink, and dessert was delicious.

A place of pure enjoyment as soon as you step foot inside ... The food, the atmosphere, the staff ... Did I mention the food?!??! I tried the shrimp cocktail and the brie appetizer and was in Heaven! For dinner I had the medallions and they did not disappoint! The salad potato thing being served with the medalliona was not so scrumptious but everything else made up for it!

Hidden gem, tucked away where the airport hotels are. Don't be fooled with that.

We had the lamb shank entree and lobster Mac cheese side. Oy! Big chunks of lobstah and definitely didn't skimp on the cheese. We were on our way to New England so we'll be able to compare but this lobster Mac and cheese was wolfed down.
The lamb shank was on par with other ones I had at other well established steakhouse. I can tell it was braised correctly and barely a hint of the gaminess that comes with lamb meat. Again, we inhaled this one too.

The best part I'd say was the customer service. We like sitting in the bar (best place to people watch) and our bartender, Macy, was very attentive and on point. We had to wait a bit for the shank (they had a large group in the main room and the kitchen was behind). Macy asked the manager to comp. They did and subsequently she and the management were very apologetic to us. Wow! They didn't really have to; we're not in a hurry. That really sold us to this place. Will definitely stop here again the next time we fly out of Raleigh Airport.

BTW, we tipped her almost the equivalent to the comped entree. Not required but the service and experience were excellent. Plus my kiddos worked in the industry so we appreciate the hard work each restaurant put in.

A very nice steakhouse, excellent food, great service from our waiter: Stefan, who paced our meal to perfection. Unfortunately for me, I ordered an aged (40day) steak medium and I really should have taken medium rare or even rare as the quality of the meat was excellent. What a shame, Stefan, push me for more red, more rare, I would have said yes! (Next time) the entrees were eaten so fast, I have no pictures, but they were all great. A must return, Chophouse, a very nice evening.

Stopped in for an appetizer and drinks on a Wednesday night, right at opening. We were greeted politely and seated right away in a comfy booth in the bar area. The bartender immediately came by to take our drink orders. She was always on top of things, but never hovering. The drinks were good, the service great, and the atmosphere was very nice. Enjoy and will be back for a meal.

Husband took me and the kids out to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. I absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was top tier. Our server was Britton and she was lovely. Very attentive and considerate of my kids and just an overall lovely attitude. Would definitely recommend for any occasion. I would love to visit again. Thank you so much!

While we always love the food here (crab dip to DIE for), I also wanted to share what a wonderful experience they provided at dinner last night. After a bit of a miscue once we were seated (no server for 10-15 minutes) we alerted the manager and hostess and they immediately apologized and hopped into action to make sure absolutely everything was made right. Managers came over to check on everything and had complimentary bisque brought out to start the meal. My dessert (mile high cake - oh MY!) was also on the house. (Phenomenal because it literally was my birthday dinner!!)

The wait staff (Eddie is a rock star) and management took what could have been a very disappointing experience and turned it into such a wonderful evening. In my opinion, you do not experience this level of customer service and the genuine concern to go above and beyond in many establishments anymore. Delicious food, yes, but also an uncommonly wonderful level of customer service.

Thank you, Chop House for an outstanding dinner and memorable birthday! We will definitely be back again (and again!!)

A great GREAT experience. The host was impeccably dressed, his demeanor and etiquette amazing👏 . The creamed spinach was full of flavor and just a perfect start to our meal. However some bread or something would have been good to go with it. Our steaks were cooked very well.
However. The show stopper for me. The Creme Brule. PHENOMENAL. THE FLAVORS. SO DELICIOUS

My husband Mike and I went to the Capital City Chop House last night and had another wonderful experience. Second time sitting in their Library Room love it, especially the booth we were sitting in number 305. Once again the food, atmosphere and service are the best. Nancy and Mike

Kate is a rock star. She was our server, and the bar tender. She never missed a beat and had a great personality. The food was very good. I'll return to the Chophouse when I'm back in the area.

So glad we tried Capitol City Chop House for dinner! The atmosphere was classy and comfortable, the service attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious! My husband loved his ribeye and said it was cooked exactly to his liking. My salmon was savory and the asparagus was crisp. The risotto was excellent. This is a must try for dinner.

I had dinner at Capital City Chop House. I did not have a reservation, so the hostess pushed me to the bar for my dinner. I arrived just after 4.:30 and the restaurant was not buy This is not my favorite place to sit for dining; nevertheless, due to bartender Masey? the experience was most enjoyable. She was the perfect bartender as well as a attentive waiter. For dinner I had delicious and nicely prepared house salad with bacon dressing, a well seasoned and tender filet mignon plus a baked potato. The filet was supposed to be 6 oz. It appeared to be 4 oz, but was sufficient, tender and nicely prepared. I rounded the dinner out with a glass of Merlot,
A very pleasant dinner and would gladly return again.

Professional waiter. Prompt efficient service. Split the tenderloin tips and both of us were full. Great wine selection. Awesome cocktails well prepared

If you want to spoil yourself, or a loved one, go to Capital City Chop House. It is not cheap, but it is worth every cent of the bill!

My spuse and I went to the Chop House looking for steak. We were not disappointed.
We each had a Ribeye, which was cooked to perfection! The salads were served almost immediately after we ordered, and the steaks - served with and edible orchid and parsely bouquet - followed.

The server (Valery) was attentive, without being in your face, and frienly.

We were thoroughly impressed- from the warm and attentive service to the high quality, fresh food being served. It was a great experience!

The Chop House is a high end steak house. Everything on the menu is great (see my pictures for the menu). I've never been disappointed. Try the Chopped salad. The fish selections are excellent also. Very professional service. They have a nice bar area for drinks with friends or colleagues after work (see pictures).

Omg... this place is awesome. It is a little pricey but I thought it was worth it. I had the ribeye and it was prepared awesome. The blue crab bisque was really good. I loved the creamed spinach. Well worth the trip in my opinion. The staff was super friendly

Had Baked Brie to start and Atlantic Salmon with Parmesan potato gratin entree. Food was well done and very well presented. Service was great. Kudos to the server Will. Jan 2018
