This is some of the most delicious food I have had in ages. Literally every dish was perfectly seasoned and remarkably delicious! Most of the dishes were marinated over 24 hours and you can taste it in every bite.
Our group ordered most of the menu and each dish, while quite different, satisfied us and sent us home with more to boot! Very large servings (enough to share).
Great vegan stew option for those looking for veg options. And the friendliest chef owner ever.
If you have never had Haitian food, there is no need to wait another day!

A friend and I stumbled in here on a whim the other night, not knowing what to expect. What we were greeted with was not only incredible food, but some of the kindest and best service I’ve experienced in Durham. We both had the legume platter and shared the Mac and cheese. Make sure you come here hungry because the portions are very large and you aren’t going to want to stop eating (the food is that good!). While this was my first experience with Haitian food, it definitely won’t be my last. This is a must try spot! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

If you want flavorfilled Haitian food! This is the place to go. The food is good the portions is good, their lemonade is authentic. Definitely one of the best grab and go places in Durham. Just be aware of their hours and call to place your order it's better than Grubhub!

The food was so good better than any Haitian food I have had and that’s Miami included even my bf who is Haitian said it was the best. I definitely recommend it all you truly can’t go wrong but I love griot and pikilliz. The Haitian champagne fruit cola is very good as well as the Haitian lemonade.

Great quality food! I got griyo (fried pork) and bannann peze (fried green plantain), and everything was freshly fried and delicious. The pikliz (spicy slaw) was a nice surprise too - had a bit of unexpected sweetness that nicely complimented the mild seasoning and tender texture of the griyo. Can’t wait to go back!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I’m visiting the area from FL and was looking for local Haitian cuisine when I found them. I ordered the griot plate which was absolutely delicious. They packed my plate full with griot, banan peze, and pikliz with sos on the side. The meat was so juicy and fried to perfection, the banan perfectly crisp and seasoned, and the pikliz (which im usually very particular about) was just as spicy and flavorful as I expected. The customer service is amazing as well. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with warm welcomes and friendly conversation. They were very helpful with ordering and brought my food out quicker than any other (non-fast food) restaurant I’ve been to. 10/10 Will be recommending to everyone I know!!!

Where do I start? From start to finish every bite was just as Magnifique as the first, the portions are amazing for the price that you pay. Definitely a 10 out of 10 and would recommend any day of the week for lunch, dinner, or breakfast if offered. If you have not tried go and get a taste of what Haiti has to offer, you will not be disappointed.

Was in Durham when I had some of their food, I have to say The Food Is Amazing and the staff created such a warm environment to relax in. It is most definitely a place to revisit!!!!

Omg OMG OMG literally just left there about 10 minutes ago couldn’t WAIT to dig in and like I said OMG it reminds me of my uncle’s cooking god rest his soul. I miss my hometown because of the Haitian food and I have been searching since I moved. The search is over this will definitely be my go to for Haitian food from now on. LOVE YOU GUYS 😂😂🥰

After searching high and low for some Authenticity I stumbled upon Pierro to Go at Joe's Diner. Griot and pikliz might be the best I have ever had. These haitian beef patties were out of this world

I was so happy to come across this hidden gem. I ordered the Griot and Rice and Beans. My food was freshly prepared and it tasted amazing. In addition to the food being great the customer service was excellent. I cannot wait to return and try the other dishes on the menu. Thank you Chef Pierre for your kindness and hospitality!

Some of the best food I've had in Durham. It's new, it's unique, it's delicious. The family running the place is sweeter than my own! Welcomed my friend and I in and fed us like we were in-laws. Truly an amazing experience and I recommend anyone who may be skeptical to give it a try.

Great food and huge portions. I got the legume platter and my husband got the chicken. Both yummy. The spicy slaw was particularly delicious. We loved the Caribbean music playing as well. Shout out to the excellent service we received. We will be back to try more of the dishes!

Some of the best Haitian food I've found in the US (and certainly the best in North Carolina). I have eaten here twice now and have loved every dish! (chicken, pork, vegetables, and meatballs) Would also recommend trying the Haitian lemonade.

Outstanding! For my first visit, I was not disappointed. The Chef puts his heart into the food. Every detail.. perfect. The best meal I've had in years. I'm telling everyone! Call, go visit, try it and you'll be hooked like me.

Have been here twice, and each time the meal has been delicious! The fish was incredible, and the pikliz is so good that we bought a container to take home. Pierre and the rest of the staff are very friendly.

There are no words for how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING this food is. Some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. My only complaint is that they aren't open more days. I cannot recommend Pierro ToGo more! The Legume and the mushroom rice is a good place to start.

I got the legume, the fish, and both patties. It was amazing. Definitely something you get and share with friends. The rice and plantains are excellent sides and that lemonade.....BOY! Operating out of a nostalgic location with great service!
