The Grand Guesthouse

This was the perfect location for our weekend “Baecation ” getaway. Room was clean, everything we needed. Location was perfect, 1 mile from Duval and other main sights, landmarks, beaches and tourist attractions. Great small breakfast included every morning with an array of bagels, yogurts, juices, milks, cereal etc. The water/ice and coffee machine were also life savers! Bike rental made everything easily accessible on the island! Host was very knowledgeable of places to go see, eat and late night activities! Hope to return sooner than later!!

We had an amazing stay at the Grand Guesthouse! The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the adorable courtyard for breakfast or an afternoon wine break! The location was perfect, with about a 10 minute walk to Duval street, so at night it was very peaceful and perfect for sleeping. Any of the staff that we encountered were welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Key West!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay for a 3 night getaway! Staff was great, and we really appreciated recommendations upon arrival. Our suite was immaculate and had everything we needed. Breakfast was convenient and delicious. Location was awesome - close to everything, but quiet at night. We loved our stay and we’d love to come back!

We just had a 7-night stay at The Grand Guesthouse, and it was such an amazing and wonderful place to stay. The location was fantastic - quiet and comfortable. Enough off the beaten path for privacy and quiet, but close enough that the action was never far away. We opted out of a car altogether and instead rented bicycles (right from the Guesthouse), walked, or took a Lyft. The Guesthouse was so easy & so close to get to every where we wanted to be. The room itself was great - we did have a smaller room but it was cozy, comfortable & well-appointed, and super clean. The patio seating area was lovely & it was relaxing to be able to just hang out. This was the perfect place to be our home-base for the week. The breakfast was also really nice. It was not fancy, but it was perfect to be able to grab something in the morning to get us started for the day. The fresh-baked muffins were SO good (The cinnamon crumb muffins were the BEST) and there was plenty of variety for a light breakfast (and coffee/hot tea all day was great for us!). Lastly, but certainly not least...You will be hard-pressed to find better service ANYWHERE. Friendly, helpful, extremely knowledgeable about anything you need to know about the area, these folks are the BEST. They gave us great suggestions and really anticipated all of our needs. I would recommend this b&b to anyone and would definitely stay here again when we return to Key West!

We loved the Grand Guesthouse. It's away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to walk to most attractions. Breakfast was delicious with homemade pastries - I recommend the banana bread. The staff was also great, especially Janine.

Stayed at the Grand Guesthouse last night, and had an amazing experience. From the start, the person working, the lobby was very friendly, helpful, and considerate. We were given waters when we walked in and was given helpful information on where to go in key west since this was our first time. When we arrived in our room, we had a bottle of wine waiting for us, chilled. The rooms were extremely clean and cozy. Breakfast was provided and had a nice spread and options. The sitting area outside was homey and quaint. I will definitely be staying here again and will recommend it to friends and family

This was my 5th stay in Key West and I've never stayed in the same place twice. The Grand Guesthouse was by far the best. It's not the fanciest but it's a great value and I love the location in a more residential and quiet area that is still very close to the main tourist attractions and a small beach. We stayed in a queen suite and the set up the futon in the living room area into a bed so it was definitely spacious by Key West standards. Steve at the front desk was very helpful. There is plenty of free parking either at the hotel or around the corner on the street. Fantastic value. I will hopefully return one day.

I cannot say enough good things about Steve (receptionist). He was truly one of the kindest people we’ve ever met and made us feel so welcome immediately. We even stayed an extra two nights because of him. The rooms were exactly what we wanted/needed. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed including an ice machine, coffee machine, and a quick breakfast. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything but far enough to have peace and quiet. The free parking was a bonus as well, it’s hard to find parking much less for free!

If you check out but want to spend some time exploring before your flight or departure, they hold your luggage and have a bathroom for you to use if need be. Overall, this Guesthouse exceeded our expectations and like I’ve mentioned, Steve is the absolute best and so helpful with all of your Key West questions! We will definitely be back!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Everything was perfect, just like home! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service from the friendly staff. The bed was incredibly comfortable, this is the only hotel that I don’t feel itchy sleeping on bed. I was thoroughly impressed by the unparalleled convenience they offered, particularly their 24-hour ice and water service. I would definitely come back, if I visit KeyWest again!

When booking our stay in KW, I did not want to stay at properties that were part of a conglomerate. I was looking for a privately owned property that was a family business. I found The Grand Guesthouse!
We stayed two nights and could have easily stayed many more.

This well maintained and beautiful property is centrally located in KW, and close to everything KW has to offer. Keep your vehicle parked at their property. Getting around KW is easy; either walk or rent bikes they have available.

The rooms were inviting, tastefully decorated, and extremely clean. The continental breakfasts and happy hours were great.

What made our visit most memorable were the proprietors, Cathy and Mike. They are charming, friendly, helpful, and enjoyable hosts!

Highly consider staying at this family-owned property. The Grand Guesthouse will not disappoint you!!

The Grand Guesthouse is exceptionally clean. Staff (hi Steve) was friendly and diligent to assure that all of the guests needs were met. They serve a nice continental breakfast everyday with juice, fruit, cheese, cereal, bagels, yogurt. The rooms are spacious and quiet. It is within walking distance to most sites, but Uber is very responsive also. Highly recommend.

Just completed a 4 night stay at the Grand Guest House. There are 6 parking spots in front and additional parking a short distance away. Once we parked our car we never got back into it since everything was within walking or biking distance. There are electric bikes, scooters and golf carts available for rent everywhere in Key West if needed. Stephen was a very gracious host and had many helpful recommendations for us. So many great options for food in Key West! The location is ideal because of the quiet neighborhood and proximity to all of the action on Duval Street. Bottled water is complimentary to guests which is very nice. They also have beach chairs and umbrellas available. Our room (#1) was cozy and clean and we had two chairs on the front porch to relax. The afternoon happy hour was very enjoyable after a day exploring. The continental breakfast had many options including fruit, yogurt, juice, good coffee!, cereal, muffins etc. The house grounds are meticulously landscaped, shaded and private. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it !!

We arrived early and they allowed us to leave our car there as we walked downtown. The entire place is amazingly beautiful. The room was great. Clean and smelled amazing. We even had our own little sitting area outside if our room. They offer breakfast in the morning and also have a happy our with drinks for the adults. As an extra bonus they have a little area for sitting that has a coffee maker for use at all hours of the day. One of the nicest places we have stayed in a long time.

Friendly and helpful hosts! Our room was nice comfortable and clean. The breakfast was basic, but adequate with good coffee. We will stay at the Grand Guesthouse again.

ABSOLUTELY amazing stay at this cute place. My boyfriend and I left today and we miss it already. Gorgeous place, lovely room and the BEST service we have experienced. Will recommend you guys to everyone we know despite the fact that we live in Denmark :-) We will for sure come back!

I slept at the Grand Guesthouse for two nights with my family. The rooms were very clean and the whole area is decorated with attention to detail. Steve made us feel very welcome.He also gave us really good tips for the island, where to eat, what is worth seeing and what activities we should book (eg snorkeling). If I am in Key West again, I will definitely stay at the Grand Guesthouse again.

We just stayed at the Grand Guesthouse and were impressed with the facility. Extremely clean and nicely decorated. There is a separate entrance for each room with a seating area outside. There is complimentary breakfast which is situated in a beautiful outdoor area. Rooms are extremely clean. Mila does a great job. Staff are amazing, Stephen and Bryce made sure our stay was enjoyable. They made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend this place.

I decided to stay at two hotels during my stay in key west. A fancy upscale resort in mid town and a quaint bed & breakfast in old town. For half the price of the resort, I was so much more impressed with The Grand Guesthouse. I was treated like family from the moment I got there to the moment I left. The room was gorgeous!! We stayed in a suite and it was honestly enormous with everything you would need to stay there for an extended stay. The courtyard was so cozy and tropical. I loved laying on the couch and enjoying the company of other guests & staff. Our housekeeper Mila cleaned the room with such detail, and left the cutest towel arraignments, along with fresh flowers. I cannot wait to go back. I loved this little beach house and you will too!! To all the staff, thank you so much for being so kind and welcoming.

We stayed 3 nights at the Grand Guesthouse in one of the 1st-floor Suites. Upon check-in, we were greeted by Jon- who was the most amazing host! He honestly makes the place extra special! It's all about the little details and they sure do knock it out of the park here! Check-in was a breeze, Jon gave us a nice tour of the property and told us about the daily breakfast and happy hour. He also told us about some great local spots, the history of the Grand House, and more. He is full of wonderful facts! If you want the key west experience I would stay here. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the cold AC was wonderful!! It's only a $10 taxi ride to Duval, and a quick 10-minute bike ride. Wondering the streets of Key West on your bikes is the best way to get around town and the only way to see the real Key West sights. Get lost in the streets! They have bike rentals on-site for $10-$15 a day. The grounds were very immaculate. The staff on site is always cleaning and making sure your experience is perfect! We come down to the keys a few times a year and plan on making this experience a yearly one. Thank you again for the great hospitality.
