Best mojito in key west! Also the Cuban sandwich with the garlic sauce was absolutely delicious. The owner was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back next time we are down there!

Enjoyed THE BEST lobster roll I’ve ever had at Cafe Maton! The buttered bun came with an appropriately generous heap of sweet, tender lobster. And their garlic sauce that comes on the side….DELICIOUS! Took it to a whole new level. They’ve perfected this one! (It looked so good I couldn’t get a pic of it til I had a bite first! Lol)

What used to be the old ice cream shop across from Sushi song at the corner of Truman and Duval is now Cafe Matan I just ate the best lobster roll I've ever had in Key West right there real Maine Lobster grilled butter buns awesome and they threw in a Mudslide!

The lemongrass mojitos are amazing both with and without alcohol. They only have two food items but that is all you need. The lobster roll is better than the Cuban, but not by much and the Cuban is the best I’ve had even after living in central Florida all of my adult life. Oh and they have some really good ice cream as well. Visit them and you won’t be disappointed.

Great spot! The lemongrass mojito is one of the best mojitos I have ever had. Lobster roll was also top notch! The owner Omar was very kind and personable. He even sat down at our table with us and had a great conversation! I recommend anyone to stop in and try it out.

Best mojitos I’ve ever had! The lobster roll and Cuban sandwich are both incredible with a delicious sauce on the side. Dont leave without trying their Cuban ice cream! Must have! Owner is super friendly and will most certainly be back!

Absolutely THE BEST MOJITOS in key west! We tried the strawberry lemongrass mojito and the dragonfruit mojito.. both were refreshing and so good! The lobster roll was also so delicious! Definitely recommend stopping in and checking this place out! The new owner, Omar, is definitely going to do great and this is now a must stop for us every time we come visit key west!

BEST ICE CREAM EVER! My wife and I were in Key West for 5 days. We went to Cafe Maton on our first night, then we went back every day of our trip. The young man behind the counter was so sweet. Let us sample, had polite conversation, and even gave my wife another cone when hers broke. My wife and I would go back just because of the service. But the “Twixie”, “Key Lime” and the “Cookie Dough” were so amazing! So glad we went 5 days in a row!! 5/5 stars!!

We enjoyed a late night treat while walking around seeing the sights! Key lime ice cream was good! The mint chocolate chip shake was better!

Took the Conch Train Tour and we stopped here. My daughter and I got a delicious mango smoothie. Two days later, we couldn't leave town without stopping in for mango smoothies for the road. Nina is such a pleasant person with provides excellent customer service. On our second visit, she spoke to us as if we were family. I will go here EVERY TIME I go to Key West for one of Nina's mango smoothies. The Key lime pie and coffee were also absolutely delicious as well. Thanks Nina!!! You are a Key West gem.

Wonderful experience! Dessert surrounded by French music. Delicious ice cream, cakes, coffee. Highly recommend!

i have never been so excited for a milkshake in my life, solely from the male worker who is so insanely enthusiastic, giving, and kind hearted. everything we needed (napkins, another straw, etc.) he was ready for and handed us. he gave amazing recommendations always followed with a sample. easily the best cafe.

Great spot for a quick, refreshing smoothie or ice cream. We stopped with a group of 16, and the owner quickly handled our orders. But it didn’t stop there. We had small children and it was a hot day, and she was VERY hospitable as we regrouped for our next adventure in Key West. Friendly and perfect stop for refreshments!

Ice cream was very tasty. We especially loved the flavor "garbage can" which had 7 different types of candy bars in it. Scoops were large, price reasonable in comparison to other ice cream shops on Duval Street. Woman serving is was very sweet and brought two chairs outside for us when she saw us standing on the sidewalk eating our ice cream.

My Daughter and I go there often. The milk shakes and Ice cream are wonderful and we enjoy chatting with the women behind the counter. The shop is clean and the
icecream lady is always friendly.

my sister and i went at least once if not twice a day when we stayed. we loved the food & the service was amazing. the woman working was unbelievably kind to us the entire trip. we are very thankful & highly recommend stopping by.

If you need a sugar fix, stop here for an ice cream cone or dish.
