My hubby and I went here after our flight arrived. Such a fun little nook spot, we each had a beverage and walked around the area. Loved the holiday decor a lot!!! Bartender was very nice and we recommend for anyone to pop in!

Stopped in for a beverage. We got the key lime martini and the rum bar old fashioned. Both drinks were excellent. They were busy on a Saturday afternoon and the bartender was keeping up.

Lovely staff with a unique and fun atmosphere both inside and out! Drinks are delicious and their patio seating out front is comfortable! They also offer rooms to plan your next trip to key west!

This is a great little rum bar off the beaten path but still on Duval. Perfect for an excellent rum drink in a much more intimate and quiet setting than the craziness of the middle of the fun chaos of northern Duval.

My wife says the pina colada is the best she’s ever had. I recommend the rum old fashioned.

It's a small place, but a mighty list to choose from!! I enjoyed tasting different rums that were new to me. The Christmas decor was beautiful outside as well.

Constantine was a phenomenal bartender! We Oder run runner at first and they were excellent. Then we came back again and Ordered rum cherry Pilar old fashion (smoked)! And I got a run daiquiri. Very great craft cocktails.

I mosied my way into The Rum Bar on a solo day in Key West & it changed my life! hahaha...I don't usually do mixed drinks buuuut,..when in Key West you've gotta try the rum. The bartender said they were famous for their Pain Killers & the Rum Runners so I had both :) The entire menu looked good, so im glad she lended some helpful advice. I started with the Rum Runner & I instantly loosened up & started enjoying the chill atmosphere. I followed up with the Pain Killer honestly can't say which I liked better. They were both SO good!!! The largest selection of rum on the island, everything up to $300 a shot. This place has the very best rum flights in town. Amazing bartender that has so much knowledge and is a fun nice guy too. Great craft cocktails or just some of the best rum straight on the rocks. The building has some fantastic history. Be sure to check out the gingerbread on the second floor, it has rum bottles cut into it when this place was a speakeasy during prohibition times. A don't miss bar also great for people watching on Duval. Go next door to the hat shop and pick out a great Panama hat also. You have to look stylish while drinking your rum.

A cozy place with awesome Drinks and great bartenders. Sitting outside on the front porch underneath the Palmtrees with a Drink in my Hand and nice music in the background has been one of our daily Highlights during our stay in Key West. One of the best Drinks is the Key Lime pie Martini

This place is the real deal. If you want to try different types of rum you won’t find in many places, you need to come here. This is not a tourist trap on Duval. I walked in about 45 minutes before closing time but managed to have a flight.

Tastings range from $25 to $300 depending on what you get and I settled for $70. This included J.M Rhum from Martinique, El Dorado from Guyana, Foursquare from Barbados, SelvaRey (co-owned by Bruno Mars) from Panamá, and Luxus from Guyana and Barbados for 10 years and Spain for five years. These bottles retail for about $150 each. I also learned Plantation is one of the best affordable rums out there for those who are looking to replace Bacardi and Captain Morgan from their cocktails for something of higher quality.

Great place to go down a little rum rabbit hole and learn so much! I stopped by the evening of the 24th of October and the bartender was great. I believe his name was Mark.

Updated: Two years later we're back... drinks and service are better than ever! Best drinks in KW IMHO.

Best drinks in the Keys and one of the best bartenders anywhere! Super knowledgeable about all of the rums and great conversation. Next time I visit Key West I'll be sure to stop in again.
