Cuban Coffee Queen Downtown (Southard and Duval)

We stopped in for breakfast recently and tried a couple of their sandwiches and they were both amazing! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and even offered suggestions. They have an extensive Cubano menu with lunch and breakfast style sandwiches and they offer different styles of bread too, but their Cuban bread we found to be really good. They make everything fresh to order, so there might be a slight wait, but we didn’t have to wait too very long.

They also roast their own coffee beans and the Americano I tried was excellent, not bitter, with nice flavors and strength. Their hot sauce goes very nicely on their sandwich and definitely on their black beans & rice. The black beans & rice was an excellent side dish over the plantain chips too!

Would definitely return!!

There are several locations in Key West. This one is right off Duval. Their iced coffee has ice cubes made from coffee, so you don't get a watered-down down drink as they melt. We had sandwiches, and they were large and tasty. They come with plantain chips or fresh fruit. They even threw in a couple of lollipops! The decor at this location isn't fancy, but we had no problem with service.

If I say it changed my life, is that melodramatic? Well screw you because it did. Not only was the coffee amazing, but I had the most spectacular tostada con queso y guava---pressed Cuban toast with cream cheese and guava. It was so delicious it made me angry. If I'm ever in Key West again, this place better still be there, otherwise I'm turning around and driving back to michigan.

Sometimes it Rains and it’s nice to be enjoy breakfast in a covered area - this place offers that. If look at the video you will see it is tucked inside and off the main road or side street. Food is excellent! I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon 🥓 and comes with rice and beans inside. I also ordered their local coffee - it was so good I ordered another! The gentleman who took my order was very kind and friendly - good sense of humor. I asked if he could add potatoes to my burrito and he said sure if you bring me some. 😂😂😂😂, they don’t have potatoes, and that was okay because the food was delicious.

Cute outdoors coffee place with much more. Staff is incredibly nice, service is quick, and they will make it the way you want it. Wonderful atmosphere and attitude! Oh, they also have a shop, next door, where you can buy coffee and coffee chatzkes. Very cute.

A brilliant chain of coffee☕. This particular location has a roaster and the staff is very friendly. Would be happy to educate you on their coffee and the roasting patterns.
Cool sitting area as well.
Finding a parking is little tricky in this area. Also, this place is little inside the market which is easy to miss out if you don’t peak in the market.

Great coffee and not only that amazing staff, customer service was great, real Cuban coffee it’s like a piece of home when I tasted the first sip, fresh and nicely.

Got here early on a Saturday and had breakfast along with some great Cuban influenced coffee drinks. As soon as we ordered, it was mobbed and they were cranking out drinks and food. I would highly recommend going here. Nice friendly staff and food tasty.

Savoring the Cuban coffee was a delight, with its busy and crowded ambiance perfectly complementing the enjoyable taste of the coffee.

We stopped in for an afternoon pick me up. Perfectly crafted Cuban Coffee! Delicious Keylime pie! This is someplace you have to stop and check out right off Duval Street Tuck back in the corner. It’s a perfect place for an afternoon Cuban coffee and Keylime pie.

Very cute location. Fast and friendly services. Accesible pricing. THE BEST cuban sandwich I have ever tasted. Bread perfectly baked and fresh. Pork moist(you can taste the mojo). Cheese melted. Perfectly balanced. Iced coffee made with coffee ice cubes. All round strongly recommend it!

One of, if not the best, places I have found to get coffee and a delicious breakfast sandwich in Key West. Charming little spot to enjoy your coffee while saying hello to the resident roosters.

The coffee, chai, and turmeric drink are good. The staff are friendly and make drinks quickly. The black, yellow and wood decor gives a fun and lovely ambiance. The only potential issue is the amount of seating, but there are chairs and tables right outside (but still inside the air-conditioned mall).

Very happy we stumbled across this place on our last day in Key West. It was a bit hidden but the food was delicious, the coffee was great. We loved their hot sauce too. Definitely recommend!!!

Tried the Cuban bagel, love the honey on it. It is not too sweet and it’s absolutely delicious.

I really loved this place and the coffee roaster and grinder next door. I fell in love with the Cuban bread with cream cheese and guava. And the signature espresso was excellent. I'm glad the roaster offers the lighter today's as well as the Starbucks style of burnt coffees.

Me and my friends got coffee con leche. I got an extra Jose Martin sandwich and it was delicious as well.
