This office has ALWAYS been kind and helpful to me!! I know most people hop on here to give bad reviews but not enough people talk about their good experiences.
I had my food stamps stolen virtually off my card by someone in another state. I was devastated! But the staff in the office got all the information needed to handle my issue, they were patient with me as I came in crying lol, and they got the issue fixed, and eventually I got the food stamps applied back to my card. Thank you, Bay County DCF office!

The office stuff it’s very kind and respectful

a call back number is audible or be placed on hold..They always call back..No need to wait long hours. They have a web page you can send your documents to.
Pretty much self service

Mike was so helpful great service and prices I found my new tire shop.

The staff there is willing to help you out if you get stuck on something and spends as much time with you as needed. Couldn't ask for better people with lots of patience.

I'm having trouble uploading my documents it used to be easy, I cant even use the foodstamp app. I'm not all computer smart.

Would give a zero if I could. I quit my
Old job and went back to my job before it so I could actually be present in my daughter’s life and not just be someone who puts her to bed. I took a pay cut and am now pregnant. I was approved for pregnancy Medicaid. This new portal screwed us over. I lost my daughter’s insurance and also could not upload income documents because of the new portal and its problems. I’ve been trying for months now to get it situated.
I have gone on two separate occasions only
To be talked at like I’m stupid. As if I can’t read the website. ITS YOUR STUPID PORTAL THAT DOESNT WORK. I keep being told that I’m not filing that I’m pregnant and that I make too much and that they can’t escalate my case anyways even though it is THEIR fault that none of my information is being approved. I’ve gotten no help from this office or the call center. The only thing I’ve gotten from my local office is people telling me I can’t fill out an application correctly. But I know what I filled out. It’s not that hard to read. I may be filing for assistance but I promise I’m not an idiot.

And now I’m crying, 34 weeks pregnant, stressed out because my daughter has no medical coverage and neither does this baby, and neither do I to pay for my OB appointments. Dcf sucks and so does this office.
