The Place Downtown

The service was excellent, and the lemon pepper wings and Nashville hot wings were delicious! We also had a side Greek salad before the wings that was very, very good. It was by random chance that we found this place, but 10 out of 10, I definitely recommend. I will definitely be going back very soon.

The food in this place is amazing! I got a chicken sandwich and OMG! Absolutely loved it! The service is amazing and they are very welcoming! The food got to us on time as well.

I want to add that although the food is amazing, the place looks very outdated.

The tables and chairs look very dirty and dusty. The lights are also dusty, and the bathroom just needs to be kept clean.

Other than that, I would come back just for the food! I recommend it!

By far one of the best restaurants in town. The food is always so great. My favorites are the antipasto eggrolls for a good crunch with some tang and the BLT and man they do NOT skimp on the bacon!!!BEST BLT EVER! Everytime we have been, the service from every single server & kitchen staff has been so amazing. We always feel so welcomed and they give off such a wonderful "home" vibe. It's pretty rare to get great service anywhere these days but these guys are amazing and we always really appreciate it so dont forget to tip these guys fairly, they really deserve it! The prices are very reasonable and the menu has some great variety. Hubby & I have been coming every Friday the past couple of weeks for a late lunch and it's definitely one of our favorite places to go to in-town. Never had a bad experience with food or service.

What a find! Great little place in downtown. Nicole was my bartender and she was nice as could be. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it was the best one I've had outside of Philly. The meat and cheese just melted in my mouth.

Julie the bar tender was great. The service was fast. The Cuban sandwich i had may have been the best i have ever had. If you are in Panama City in this part of town don't pass up a meal and a drink here. Second trip there tonight for drinks and dinner. The food and drinks were very good. The service by Julie was fantastic. You will not find a nicer lady behind a bar anywhere. Always a smile on her face. Update: 1 Sept I was back for a meal and drink. A usual Julie the bartender was here with a large smile and friendliness to go with it. The owner was here and spoke with customers. They had a new AC System installed and it was great. The food and service was great. If you are near this place and don't stop in your are missing the best Panama City has to offer.

Great atmosphere and location. Our server was hilarious and totally on point. The food was outstanding and there were plenty of leftovers.

So... I rarely review on here. I will tell you that The Place Downtown is an incredible local restaurant/pub for us locals and tourists. Very few places will I vouche for and this Place is one of Bay County's favorites.

Husband and I popped in for food and some beers. Place was awesome,service was great everyone was friendly great atmosphere. Had the chicken salad sandwich,hubs had the philly and we had the spinich dip to it was all delicious.

Food, atmosphere, and hospitality is always great! It's hard to choose one thing when you want it all..lol

We both got the BLT hoagie but I had zucchini fries and the husband got sweet potato fries..We shared the appetizer egg roll..lots of left overs to take home

We had the best service we've had since moving to Panama City. Server genuinely likes what she does and wanted her tables happy. Mozz sticks were delicious. Food was nice and hot and came out quickly. Reasonably priced as well and a nice relaxed atmosphere

Had 2 lemoncello sunrises, water and tuna dip. Everything was delicious and everything was also affordable.

Great food! We had a reuben and Greek gyro. Both were great. Check out the interesting wall pictures. Service was friendly and fast.

They have fresh shrimp. So hard to find a place that doesn't serve frozen shrimp. My husband got the shrimp basket. Everything was hot and cooked perfectly. I got the Cuban sandwich which was amazing as well. The staff is very friendly. Came to check on us several times. I would highly recommend "The Place".

Best patty melt I've had! Not greasy, hot and plentiful. Fries were great, too.

Great food, far exceeded our expectations, great prices and great atmosphere. Very busy with a local ukulele band playing for charity to promote and bring music lessons back to schools.
