AT&T Store

We went in on 1/6/24 in the evening, because my phones motherboard had broken. As soon as we walked in a lady (I didn’t ever catch her name, but she had the initial R on her necklace) sat down with us. She didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need that would be crazy expensive, and she worked hard to find the best options for me. I didn’t think I could go 4 weeks without a phone while waiting on my insurance so I decided to get a new phone. She was very helpful and it was honestly so fun talking to her the whole time we were there. We were always laughing and she was extremely personable!! Thank you so much, give her a raise!!

Ricky and Thomas walked me through a complicated - clearly easy for them - change over of an account and the associated plan. They did so in the most professional manner and with a bit of humor. I was very impressed.

They even let me bring my dog!

Dana is amazing! She was so helpful with my trade in and new phone. And switching my dad from Verizon to my account. It took time but she was patient and a joy to work with. Highly recommended.

I couldn’t retrieve old messages, so I went into Emmet Street AT&T. After a few minutes, Thomas Y. retrieved the messages and showed me how easy it is to do. If you’re a Senior Citizen and have a question or just want to upgrade your plan or phone, ask for Thomas. He’s efficient, pleasant and patient.

Timothy was the main one who helped although his coworker/manager did give us some useful information as well. Timothy was patient and explained many of the different brand of phones features and prices. He gave us info on trade in values and waited while we decided which to purchase. He ported the phones for us and answered all of our questions. Timothy was friendly and helpful, never pushy . We've been to this store before and it has always by far been
our favorite ATT.

I highly recommend Dana at the Emmett St., Charlottesville store. She went above and beyond to help me resolve my issue. She was very professional and helpful with everything. Very knowledgeable also.

Great experience at this AT&T store. We arrived at 7p (an hour before closer) to transfer two phones. It was more complicated than we thought, but Dana stayed an hour after closing to make sure we were all set.

Ricky went above and beyond helping me. I could not be more pleased with his customer service and great attitude. He handled the entire situation with a smile and assisted in every way he could.

On Friday, April 15th, I came to the Barracks location to exchange and set up my boss’ new phone. From the moment I walked in the door, Erin greeted me with a smile and a positive attitude. She helped me through the entire process, guided me through the parts of set up and made the entire process stress free. She was always attentive, helped me troubleshoot a few problems I had with set up, quickly answered any questions that I had during the visit, and truly exemplified a person you would want working directly with your customers. I cannot thank her enough for how awesome she was at making this experience great. I would absolutely recommend Erin to any customer that needs to set up a new phone.

I am a new customer, so I haven't had enough time with at&t to provide a review on my experience with the company overall. But I am wanted to take a moment to share my experience the customer service representative that works there named Erin. I signed up with the company a day earlier but was not given the full extent of benefits that was available to me as a national guard member. Erin noticed that right away and fixed it. She helped me port my phone number over which was giving me aheadache trying to do it over the phone. Not to mention she did all this with a smile (she had a mask on but I could feel the smile emanating from the mask) Lol. To reiterate I can't speak to coverage or billing or other issues yet.... but I'm very impressed with the professionalism of this young lady she is an asset to the company for sure I hope she's there if I ever have any issues in the future.

I highly recommend this store and particularly Sarah. She did a great job helping us switch carriers (from 2 different carriers and three different accounts) and choose phones that would meet our needs. She was knowledgeable and patient and made what could have been a stressful experience very pleasant. This is now our AT&T store.

Cody was great from start to finish! We are relocating to the area and needed to switch to service compatible with the area where we will be living. Cody guided us through the process and helped us pick a plan that for our needs, while offering accessories as well that would optimize the use of our devices! Switching carriers and cancelling lines is always tiresome but Cody was very patient and extremely kind! Thanks again!

Went in to change service and while it took a long time (no surprise!), it was a great experience. Sarah was phenomenal. She really listened to the differences in what we wanted for each line and gave us great options. She was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. It’s not the closest store but after my experience, I will definitely be back.

James was awesome! He was so kind and courteous. He went above and beyond to make sure I left the store with my watch fully functioning and how to work it. Thank you James!

Had a great experience last week at the ATT store thanks to a very resourceful and helpful associated named Dana. Basically, I bricked my iPhone XS right before a trip and, to compound matters, couldn't receive the SMS validation messages from ATT to confirm the insurance claim to rush me a new iPhone.

I was resigned to going into the store and just buying a new iPhone, but Dana put on her problem-solving hat and engineered a way for me to actually receive the SMS validation that I hadn't thought of. The insurance claim was able to go through just in the nick of time for same-day replacement delivery thanks to Dana's help! Much appreciated, Dana!

Would highly recommend this location to anyone who needs a tech/account problem solved!

Update 3.4.22 - Today, I was reminded why we are AT&T customers, and why we take the extra time to drive to Charlottesville from Madison County. We could not have been treated better by our sales rep, the assistant manager, and the manager. Each went out of their way to resolve a nagging issue for me. However, they did not stop there, they went on to ensure I was completely satisfied and found some issues we were not aware of and took care of those as well. I'm a customer for life. Thank you to Sarah, Brian and Ace. You are to be commended for your dedication to customer service. It did not go unnotice or unappreciated.

Julian went above and beyond to help us. He made a typically painful experience (switching carriers and getting a new phone) pleasant. Julian was a true professional who never pressured us - I felt like he had our best interests in mind. Terrific customer service!

The staff really came through!--most notably--ERIN, the customer service person who took on the task of upgrading my phone and walking me through the process. She was attentive and knowledgeable and 100% patient with all my questions and concerns--taking care of all the nuts and bolts tasks--switching out batteries and SIM cards and making sure everything was working properly all the way to the end~ Major kudos to Erin! (Also--many thangs to Ace for his assistance on previous visits to the Barracks Road Store.)

2nd review (many months later!): 5 stars again for ERIN, who, once again, provided "old school" customer service--tending to the task at hand, as if there were nothing else in the world she needed to do for those 45 minutes other than help me with my phone. This is a rare brand of professionalism nowadays--and Erin is to be commended--BIG TIME! Thank you again for such high level customer care!
