One of the nicest small town museums in Colorado. The fire equipment in the museum is extensive and well maintained. The walls are alive with history of fire-fighting in the communities served in the area. The hosts are friendly and very well informed of the collection and will go to great lengths to ensure you have a wonderful visit. Clean and tidy and a well curated collection will please the history buff and photographer as well.

Well maintained. It is a great place to see the old fire trucks and history of windsor. Wish they had more history and was opened more to show people and family that are out of state because I take pride in the community, the fire station, and the history of windsor colorado

We just saw the door open and stopped. We had a good guided tour with lots of back stories and then had a ride in the 1941 fire engine. Well worth the stop.

We had a great tour of the museum. Dan, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable about the history of the fire department in Windsor and surrounding areas. We were there for two hours, but could have spent two more- there is so much to see in this small space! Highly recommend this to anyone who lives in the area, or is having visitors from out of town. You will not be disappointed!

Super informative and fun! We learned a lot from Dan, one of the tourguides who works there. He told us everything and anything we wanted to know. They have a lot of old firehouse equipment and a couple of trucks with the history of all of it. I thought it was a very unique little spot for the small town of Windsor. Great for kids too!

The guides were so knowledgeable, I even got a ride on the 1930 white engine. The 911 contribute impressed me as well.

Such a beautifully crafted museum, from the fire engines, displays, to a poignant piece of the World Trade Center... A lot of heart went into this place.
