I am a volunteer here. They have amazing staff; very welcoming and informed. The animals have lots of personality and would make amazing additions to someone's family.

Adopted our kitty in January. Adoption process was quick and very easy, and all of the staff was so friendly. Animals appear to be well taken care of. They also have a list of vets who partner with the humane society to provide a free initial appointment for your newest family member. Facility is spacious and clean, and has a large parking lot. They even sent out emails at various times post adoption checking in and making sure that everything is going well with your adoptee. 🐾

Very nice facility. Everywhere was clean, and the dogs were well taken care of. Staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not come home with a pet today, but yhis was not our first visit, and it won't be the last. I'm glad to know there is a place like this for lonely pets 🧡

From what I experienced, humane society is so wonderful. It’s where I adopted my first pet on my own which was a cat named Cosmo here, but I renamed him Noodle! The adoption process was thorough but not too complex. I had called and emailed so many other adoption centers and almost all only accepted applications from the same city ): but everything happened I believe to send me here to adopt my sweet baby! They were clear about his current condition of having feline leukemia but I was hopeful and confident as they explained, there was a very tiny chance it could pass from his system and he would no longer have it. After taking him to the vet to get his necessary shots as the months went buy and lots of prayer and belief, the few tests he has taken to check the presence of FELV had cleared and he continued to test negative! Aside from a perfect miracle in his health, Noodle is the perfect cat for me and I loved getting to raise him so far from about 2 months old. He is now almost 8 months old and as wonderful as ever. He’s playful, the biggest cuddle bug, so funny, and a great companion in daily task and adventure! He loves being around people and is very social. He’s curious and gentle. I’ve taken him on a flight, on hikes(he likes his harness and walking with my sisters Australian Shepherd), in car rides, to have play dates with my sisters dog, out to go play in the park on a harness and leash, and so many other fun memories. He is my best little buddy. I’m thankful LHS took care of him until I met him and took him home. I have recommended this place by word of mouth to friends, family, co workers and customers and would absolutely come back in the future myself! Thank you for the best cutie cat ever!

One of the hardest things was to put my dog down. She was so ill. I appreciate it was crazy expensive and they offered a paw print to remember her with.

The staff was great with all my questions, I did adopt a great husky named Tundra and they got me all set up with first days supplies, collar, leash, food, metal dog tags and he was already chipped! He and I are getting along famously.

I had to rehome my dad's senior fur buddy. The staff member who helped was kind, patient, explained how much care and loving my dad's fur baby would receive. Very clean intake area. Lots of volunteers spending time with the animals. Lots of paths for walking the dogs.

The facility is clean and the employees are very helpful. We adopted a 5yr old GSD named Kaya. She likes to go for walks and ride in my truck. She is a great addition to the family. Can't wait to do some hiking and camping with her.

Want to say Thank you to everyone that helped to resuce my new family member. 6 months w my beautiful beloved boy, and I cry and think of the people who gave him life, love, and freedom to be a happy healthy Dog, who loves treats, walks, basking in the sun in his yard, rides in car, his side of the couch 😁. He knows at least 15 words now and is truly enjoying life. To see him wag his tail and toss a toy blissfully around is beyond beautiful! So Thank You to all! 🙏🤝❤

Very nice staff. Very clean facility. My daughter adapted a 🐈. They were so many beautiful cats that need to be 🏡. When you adapt a cat, it's already spayed or neutered depending if it's a male or female. We adapted a female. She comes vaccinated, spayed, with a chip, the medical record and you even get her food for the day. No need to run to store. Even though my daughter bought all the supplies before going to get her cat. I really recommend adapting a cat from human society

Beautiful healthy loving innocent animals that are truly a blessing from God in this life . To give support in many ways, of caring for your new found friends at this very compassionate facility for the rescued, that enrich the lives of humanity every day .

In September 2019, we adopted Milo at the Larimer County Humane Society. Milo needed to be in a home with an active family without young children. So, he was perfect for us! Milo now has a little sister and has adjusted to our life nicely.

The staff at the humane society really is top notch. Milo doesn’t like most people, but he loves women and younger teens and I attribute that primarily to the staff that took care of him.

Any place that actively tries to place animals in homes instead of putting them to sleep is a five star in my books! The NOCO Humane Society serves my county and really works hard as a group in the community to service homeless and injured animals. Any support you can give them is a job well done.

They have great descriptions about the personalities of the adoptable pets. The people who work there care deeply for animals and it shows.

For the last 33+ years my family has adopted all our pets from the LHS. We’ve always had a great adoption experience and I’m grateful we’ve gotten to give 6 dogs and cats their forever home over the years. I have even begun fostering kittens for LHS this year and it’s been an amazing experience. I highly recommend you sign up if you are able to. You can choose exactly the age group and type of animals you’re willing to foster so it makes the job a total joy. These people care deeply about animals - and their commitment, employees and volunteers alike, is beyond admirable. The photos I’ve included are of our current foster, Dutchie. Such a doll!
