Windjammer Roadhouse Bar & Grill

Went here for my fianceé's birthday. Everyone involved was so accommodating. Clayton was incredibly helpful of us bringing in 15+people. Taylor and Darlene were off the charts helpful and helped us with group photos. Thank you all so much!! Their cook was awesome as well, sorry never caught his name, food was all excellent. I recommend brisket and okra. See you this summer.

We’re so happy to have Windjammer back with BBQ! The atmosphere is excellent, with great views and cold beer. I had the pulled pork and brisket. Both were delicious and juicy. It was an enormous amount of food for $19! They were very busy, but Brooke was super sweet and efficient. We can’t wait to come back! :)

One of the best burgers around with a relaxed atmosphere and great service. Made a bad night (thought we had campsite reservations and didnt) much better.

This place is conveniently located next to Carter Lake with excellent food and service. The dive bar feel and large outdoor patio make it an ideal place to hangout. Video games, pool table, live music - they've got it all!

Just a little bit expensive for Draft Beer!. Then everything is really nice... wonderful customers service & clean.

Staff is awesome! Good food with big portions that isn't expensive for an area like this. Had their burger with brisket on top - which was seriously not expensive for what you get! AND SO GOOD! Margaritas were great, too. Really cool place. I will be back. Definitely recommend.

A great local bar with a great staff and food that punches well above its weight. In the summer you can usually enjoy bands and karaoke depending on the night. The BBQ is above average but the burgers and margaritas are excellent!

Amazing atmosphere, awesome good and friendly and attentive staff. I have been coming here throughout my life and it has always been amazing. They even cater to customers that have dogs by providing dishes for dogs
It is also located by two campsites that make it the perfect place to eat when you visit Carter or flat iron lakes. Highly recommended

I have been coming to the Windjammer for over 20 years and when I visited a couple days ago….All I can saw is WOW. I honestly believe that this is by far the best bbq in ALL of Colorado.

Food was awesome - cute, rustic place

Love this place! The food is delicious and the environment is great. This is an essential stop after a day at the lake. A cold beer and their brisket, turkey or wings are my favorite. Another bonus, they're super kid friendly. Definitely try it out.

Rode our bikes (bicycles) out for the first time in a few years today. There was a full crowd of bikers (motorcycles) there, but everyone was cool. We grabbed seats at the bar and got great service, even though they were short staffed and busy. Shout out to the two guys who were behind the bar today, they were working their butts off. Shout out to the kitchen too, our food came out in good time and the burger was amazing as always. Will be back soon to try the bbq.

Great quick stop if you're on a bike or out and about. Salads are good as well as great tacos and smoked bbq. The dry rub smoked wings are some of the best I've ever had. I'd come here just for wings....they are my new best wings in Colorado spot

Hands down the best burger I have eaten. I can't elaborate enough how delicious this burger was. I upgraded to the onion rings and they were also tasty but came out a bit greasy from the basket. Let them drain 15 secs longer. Otherwise, the perfect lunch!! Delish!!

Wow! What a nice surprise, Windjammer has fantastic BBQ. The inside all new. The bartender (owner) is a great host, friendly and accommodating for as busy as he was when we got there. And his grill master cook makes the tastiest BBQ we've had this side of the Mississippi.

In a beautiful area of carter lake the burgers were very yummy abd the onion rings were the best i noticed many people there to hang out

Cool Small Town bar. The guy on the grill is killer. Cheap drinks. Best view for a cruise. Def my favorite hole in the wall.

Great food, great view and perfectly cold beer. Get the curly fries.
