Mr. Sam totally fixed me up with a black Tuxedo and all the accessories for my wedding on New years eve… I now own my own custom tailored tux that I can wear every new years eve to celebrate the new year and the wedding to my best friend… THANX Mr. Sam you ROCK!!!

Sam (The owner) was very gracious with his time. I only had a pair of pants tailored but asked about other items. He took the time to show me different levels of craftsmanship, material and cost. I left feeling very informed. Huge selection of jackets and dresses. Lots to see.

Sami bent over backwards to help me. Opened his shop on a closed day because I was coming in from out of town to speak at a funeral. He was professional, personal, reasonably priced, and worked overtime to fit my needs. Highly, highly recommended!

Sam is wonderful and a real tailor. I have been unimpressed by most men's stores that claim they have tailoring. Suits and sport coats are great.

The old guy needs to retire. 5 suits, just about every piece was off and needed re done. Wedding day, I had to hurry and find different pants since the zipper blew apart.
He gave some money back... that's just more of an admittance to guilt

Wedding planning and ironing out the nitty gritty details of a wedding can be stressful. By far, THE MOST stressful process of the wedding planning has been the entire suit process, from start to finish.

For starters, here is the stressful timeline in place. My fiancee and I went into Boumadi initially in early April, to confirm the color scheme of both my suit and the groomsmen's suits. During this interaction, my fiancee inquired about sizing of the suits, as well as the color scheme of the suits. Sami Boumadi displayed a supercilious attitude towards my fiancee as she began answering questions about the required color scheme of all of the suits.

Sami Boumadi measured several of my groomsmen and I in late April. Upon measurements being complete, Sami requested that we pay him, and we paid a grand total of approximately $1,300; shortly thereafter, five more of my groomsmen were measured and paid a grand total of approximately $1700. So, a total of approximately $3,000 was fronted to Sami.

Fast forward to June, Sami contacts me and indicates that the suits will be delayed due to a Covid-based shortage of raw material. Okay, that's all fine and dandy, it happens.

Well, fast forward to July and August, when the time comes for us to pick up our suits, and this is when the plot thickens. All of the groomsmen and myself included, picked up suits that were FAR TOO LARGE and that needed substantial alterations. In fact, the alterations needed were so substantial, I wondered what was the reasoning behind even taking our measurements. Additionally, the required alterations and downsizing for my suit was so drastic, Boumadi reordered another suit for me.

In the most absurd instance, Sami attempted to charge one of my groomsmen $250 for alterations. My groomsman disagreed with the price, and Sami quickly changed the price to $50. Why change the price so quickly? Strange, isn't it?

In another instance, Sami Boumadi gave one of my groomsmen's suits to the wrong groomsman. However, prior to figuring this out, Sami was adamant that my groomsman had already picked up his suit, when clearly, this wasn't the case.

I will give credit where credit is due: Sami Boumadi did do a good job of tailoring my sport coat, however, that's really the only good experience in this business-to-consumer relationship.

I've been told that Vera's Ladies Apparel, which is in an attached storefront to Boumadi Men's Clothier & Tailoring, has superb customer service skills and the staff is excellent when it comes to delivering the final product to consumers in a timely manner. This is the total opposite of Sami Boumadi's customer service skills.

Additionally, when numerous consumers pay for multiple orders well ahead of time, they should receive the orders in a timely manner. In the event that their orders don't get fulfilled in a timely manner, there must be a way to accomodate the customer for the business's failure in providing services to a consumer on time.

This is my entire experience with Boumadi Men's Clothier and Tailoring. Save yourself the headaches and the stress; go elsewhere for your needs regarding formalwear and men's suits.

At first I left one star and said nothing.

Then I went back and saw they claim I was not a customer here. Actually I have set foot in your store on several different occasions and I was not impressed by the customer service here either (as well as Vera’s)
