Tom helped my wife and I select a gas insert to breathe new life into our old fireplace. His knowledge, professionalism, and directness were all very much appreciated and made the selection process easy.

When it came time for the install, Troy and Caleb treated our home like their own. They took shoes off without being asked, protected surfaces, watched for pets, and did a masterful install despite chimney challenges.

I converted my wood burning fireplace to natural gas. Candy was very knowledgeable about the various options I had. Tim measured for my installation and was efficient and polite.

Recently I had the pleasure of working with the fantastic team at The Place to enhance the ambiance and safety of my fireplace with a custom-made fireplace screen and the installation of a gas line with gas logs.

I just purchased a gas fireplace insert through The Place and I could not be happier. Their installers (Troy and Caleb) were nothing but professional, and even though there were unexpected issues with the prior work done on the fire place they were able to correct the issues. The tile work is beautiful, the tiler (Jennifer), was able to create a jaw dropping show piece that is statement piece in our living room.

From the moment I walked in I knew was in a quality business. It took me a few visits to make a decision on an electric fireplace, and ended up going with my first instinct. The installation by Caleb and Troy was totally professional. It was obvious they knew what they were doing. They protected the floors and performed clean up after. Great experience! Rex was fantastic asking good questions, showing us everything with zero pressure. The delivery was amazing. Just wanted to say that we are very pleased with the care, attention, and advice that both Scott and Shamik gave during the temporary move of our spa away from the house to facilitate upcoming deck work. I can’t say enough how good the experience was to buy a coast spa from The Place. Rex in sales was very informative and helped find the perfect spa for my family. Heather was accommodating in setting up the delivery and Scott, Shamik and Colin delivered the spa and made sure the placement was just right and explained the set up process as well as all the features of the spa! Our sales man at the home and garden show didn't try to push anything we didn't want or need and really steered us in the right direction.
Someone came out last week to get measurements and develop a game plan for the delivery crew which made the delivery go very smooth.
Colin, Scott, Gus, and Shamik were a great crew for the delivery. They worked fast, effectively, and seemed to all enjoy working together. The wrong filter was sent with the hot tub so they took it with them, and about an hour later I got a call from Colin who was on his way to drop off the new correct filter. I would recommend the place to anyone looking for that extra feature for their home.

When looking for a swimspa, I realized there were more similarities than differences between brands and the bigger variant was in the dealer. If, like us, you are looking for a company that will help you take care of your investment there is nowhere else I'd recommend you go.
We had a surprise shortly after installing our spa; we came out to use it one evening and found all the water had drained out. I had concerns any remaining water in the system would freeze overnight and left an after hours message of our problem. Within an hour I had a call back to assure us we'd be fine for the night. Before 8a the next morning, another call from their service tech on his way over to assess the problem. A plumbing fitting had cracked. While I was at work they returned with a new fitting, fixed the problem, scheduled a water truck to re-fill the spa, and got the spa working again with frequent text messages of the progress being made throughout the day. I returned home that night (less than 24 hrs from initial discovery) to find everything fixed and running as it should. I got the impression after hearing from several different employees during that day that this level of service wasn't an anomaly. And I will tell anyone looking for a spa, this is The Place to go!

We purchased our fireplace from The Place in Medina almost two years ago and just have it serviced for the first time. Dave, the technician from The Place, was fantastic! He was extremely thorough and even shared a couple of tips and tricks. Dave left the floor and hearth cleaner than it was when he arrived and the fireplace looks great. I highly recommend using The Place for your fireplace needs!

Called The Place, setup an appointment with no problem. Dave came out and fixed and cleaned our gas fireplace in very little time with no mess. He explained what was wrong, what options we had, and how to take care of the fireplace going forward.

I asked Dave about some upgrades to the fireplace and bricks around it and he was very informative. I will use The Place going forward for any fireplace needs.

A real pleasant, professional experience Tim & his team - particularly installer Weston - provided. Even was able to refer related professional (chimney guy) for peace of mind on a related aspect of the project so we felt really well taken care of all around. Best of all, the finished product gas log fireplace came out great. Nice variety of options running the whole range of quality products available.

I purchased two fireplaces and had them installed by "The Place" 18 years ago. This year one of them was no longer working. I called and they sent a technician out who diagnosed the problem and the parts were under warranty. Today, after receiving the parts, Dave came out and did a great job. He called when he was 30 minutes out, replaced the parts and cleaned my fireplace. Excellent customer service by everyone I dealt with!

Had our gas fireplace serviced by Dave Stiffler - great experience! Called when he was 20 minutes out, arrived on time, and got right to work. Moved furniture, put down a drop cloth and cleaned and adjusted everything. Took all the logs out, cleaned out bugs that had gotten into the gas line, vacuumed everything, cleaned the glass - looks like new now. Even added some more embers to the bottom of the insert so the fire looks even more realistic. After cleaning the gas lines, the flames are much brighter and higher, too. Overall, highly recommend! A+++
