Mavericks Bistro is one of those places that you wouldn't think is anything special until you order there and anything and everything you order is amazing. One thing that definitely stands out is their selection of cheesecake for being in a truck stop this place is phenomenal I can simply tell you I don't believe there's one thing on their menu that is not good. It's amazing and comforting that somebody finally thought outside the box and put such a great little spot have a restaurant inside a truck stop. 5 Stars hands down. Also don't look past the fried chicken they have. Also a great meal

I came here for a slice of cheesecake because I’ve stopped here before and today it was calling me. The cashier was friendly and gave a great suggestion, Reese’s chocolate cheesecake! It was soooooo sweet but delish I shared with my boyfriend. Huge portion size nice friendly staff

I stopped here while on a road trip. It’s a nice little spot to grab a bite to eat. They have a wide selection of menu items at very reasonable prices. They have all day breakfast as well. I had The Mess - a hearty and filling breakfast scramble that comes with a honey biscuit. It could easily feed two people.

It takes a while to get my food usually, but that's because I'm usually there later in the day and they have to make it fresh. Ten minutes is definitely worth the wait for how good the chicken tenders are. The tenders are a generous size, especially for the price. The three piece is more than enough for me. I've had other items there too and everything has been delicious. Sure beats the BK next door

Oh my goodness I love it here!!! Amazing mashed potatoes and gravey!! Always add salt and pepper! And all their food is so tasty.... Their buffalo sauce and ranch are so good 👍🙂😊 I always enjoy going! My boyfriend LOVES THE CHEESECAKES!

Every time I go there the food is good they've got the best chicken tenders they've got the best breakfasts the best subs their steak subs excellent they're Turkey's subs excellent. Wedges good

The lady at the counter taking our orders was wonderful. Patient, funny, friendly. The subs are huge, and well appointed. The chicken is darn good too !! Really though I loved the mashed taters and gravy, and the cheesecake for dessert. Truly a decent experience out here.

Jumbo wings are perfect at a great price. All made fresh so those Karen reviews about it taking to long "bye Felicia". However the perfectly tender chicken on the bone with a cajun kick is really with a over salted tongue burn. I had to throw my 8 pieces in the garbage after 2 pieces. Way way too salty. I lived in New Orleans for 15 years. Cajun spices last ingredient is salt.. not the first. Most people inject the meat with liquid spices and lightly dust the batter with ground peppers. Get the jumbo wings. They are epic

Not too bad of a place to visit. The food looks good and fresh. The employees were attentive and helpful as well. They also have a large assortment of items on their menu. The location is new as well so it’s clean. The seating is blocked off due to Covid-19.

My first time having their chicken tenders. The tenders were the best that I have ever had.
