Zambistro Restaurant

Ok, this place is amazing. Brought my boyfriend here for his 29th birthday and they made it so special. The food was fantastic. I have not a single thing I can complain about! Our server was so sweet!

A perfect place for three hungry cyclists at the end of a long day on the Erie Canal trail. The rooftop bar area on a summer's night with locally sourced fresh ingredients and creative cocktails couldn't have been better. Prices are reasonable for the food quality. Definitely recommend the Mamma's meatballs!

My husband and I enjoyed a meal here for our anniversary and it was AMAZING. Everything from our cocktails to our service was 5 stars. The food was absolutely fantastic and I must say that the owners should feel incredibly proud of what they have built with this restaurant. From the front of the house staff to the care and passion of their chefs, Zambistros is something special and we cannot wait to return and enjoy it again.

I was looking for a new restaurant to enjoy dinner with my daughter. A dear friend - an admitted foodie - suggested Zambistro in Medina. Only 15 or 20 minutes away, we decided we would give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised! Quaint and clean, the ambiance was very nice (albeit a little too bright). The host and wait staff made us feel very welcome, we couldn't wait to see the menu. Our server, Chris, was very attentive every step of the way; answering questions and making suggestions. The star of the show, the food, did not disappoint! As my daughter and I drove home, she said "Dad we need to add Zambistro to the list." I agree wholeheartedly!

Always changing the weekly specials that use fresh local ingredients. They have a delicious menu that they regularly offer that is also slightly changing depending on the season. I always save half of my meal to ensure that I am able to try one of their desserts. They always have amazing fresh bread with changing specialty whipped butter. This is one of my favorite places to go! They offer inside, outside and outside balcony dinning.

When we picked our venue for our wedding, Zambistro was one of the recommended caterers. When I reached out for service, Mike was quick to get back to me and have a phone call. He went over all of the different packages throughly. Before we decided to go with them, my husband and I drove out for dinner. The service and food was amazing that it was an easy decision. We ended up going with the buffet style BBQ meal. Mike was easy to communicate with and gave great recommendations. When we went for our tasting, we were so happy with our choice. The night of our wedding, the Zambistro staff was awesome!! They checked in on my husband and I quite frequently during dinner to make sure we were all set for food and drinks. Above and beyond my expectations. Our families are still raving about the food. I highly recommend them for the restaurant and their catering services.

We met up with some friends and had drinks at the roof top bar and then dinner inside. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect! Nice views of the downtown and Erie Canal. The bartender was very cool and they are making their own infused drinks. We would definitely recommend and will be back again!

Every time I go there it’s amazing. There is nothing that’s not good. The service is great and such a peaceful atmosphere. Every time I have gone I order something different and I am never disappointed. My one year old daughter loved it as well. we never seen her eat so much. Definitely made a great birthday dinner.

We’ve been going to Zambistro since they opened as a tiny place years ago. Very happy to say that now they are bigger they are just as great if not better. Lovely atmosphere, good service and imaginative delicious dishes. We had the Fall salad with seared tuna, the Mac n cheese and a rare roast beef. All were perfect. We go out of our way to eat here.

Got to say, added to the favorites list as soon as we rolled in. Came in with our traveling karate group right before the kitchen closed and our server, good ole Lucas, sat us, served us the best meal we had in 250 miles. I personally had the Poached Salmon which, let’s just say didn’t last long.
Then, the following day because of course we had to go for seconds, our next server Sara handled our rowdy troop just as well. This time I got a medium well bistro steak and it might as well be the best thing to happen to a cow. All in all, if we ever got to fight back in Holley, this is our go to spot.

What a wonderful place to have dinner and cocktails. I really like the many options they have for dining (seating). You have two out door areas to be seated at, one is on a balcony and the second is a igloo experience. The decor is simple but yet classy. Our server Kara did a great job explaining the menu, and I really appreciated her recommendations. I actually took her suggestion for dinner, and i am so glad I did. Looking forward to coming here again.

Filet mignon- cook perfectly and seasoned just right..Every bite was tender and enjoyable

Bistro salad- very fresh ingredients and I really enjoyed the creamy Parmesan dressing

Espresso crème brûlée- nice subtle flavor of coffee. Loved the texture of the brûlée

Cocktails- forgot the name but the cocktail was amazing

Beautiful menu and restaurant! Our lunch was perfect, the service was amazing and the value was great. Love that they offer half or full sized salads.

Great spot for dinner. Service tonight was excellent. One of our favorite spots in our favorite town. Also, their house made sangria is simply amazing.

My boyfriend and I are from Michigan and have been filling our vacation with yummy food. This place was our last stop. We had Summer as a server and she was so sweet, she definitely made our last experience better!! The food and drinks were very good. My boyfriend has been looking for a superb bloody mary the last few days, no luck until we got to this place! Salmon salad was very yummy too. Thanks Summer and the nice girl who was hostess today, we will see you when we come back:) !!

They have a bistro bar, catering in next building, also have rooftop dining and bar . Also put in igloos for dining outside in winter, Great experience and food is great

We hosted a private party here - a surprise event for my mother's 70th birthday. Kara was an absolute joy to work with from our first conversation to the moment the last guest left. I am a professional event planner in NYC, so my standards are incredibly high, and Zambistro exceeded them in every way. The food was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (all our guests commented on how nice the team was). The atmosphere was comfortable and chic. We could not have selected a better space. We live in Brockport, so Medina is only 30 min. away. This is arguably one of the best places in the whole Rochester area and the private event space is perfect. I 100% recommend hosting your next private event here, and we look forward to being patrons for years to come. Thank you, Zambistro!

Excellent service! Delicious food, prepared beautifully from fresh ingredients. Had a new cocktail, urbane and lovely French 75. Many more plant based choices now.

Delicious lunch on a patio in a cute town. We were passing through while taking a day trip to pick apples. We stumbled across this place while reading reviews. We were not disappointed.

There were a lot of yummy food options on the menu. We both splurged and chose the steak frites and we were delighted. The steak was flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Both the regular and sweet potato fries were crispy, hot and had the perfect amount of salt. There was a small side salad with a slightly creamy, Parmesan, truffle dressing which was to die for. My significant other doesn’t even like truffle but enjoyed the salad. I also tried their blood orange sangria which was made from a red wine, which I thought was surprising. It was refreshing, not too sweet and had lovely spices which brought me comfort and feelings of fall in the air.

They had a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The tables were spaced out for covid restrictions. The server was excellent and was following safety measures. If we are in the area again we would come back.

Exceptional fine dining in quiet and picturesque downtown Medina. The dishes are well-composed, seasonal and each element on the plate is treated perfectly. Exceptional service and lovely atmosphere. A beautifully prepared trout almondine as well as filet. So lucky to have a Chef and team this talented in the area. Highly recommend.

Literally the #1 restaurant I take all my friends and family when they come to visit! You cannot match the quality and quantity represented in each meal I have ever ordered here!

The Seafood Risotto is out of this world!

I have a friend who begs me to come here every time he visits from PA after he ate the seafood risotto…can’t say enough good about Zambistro!
