Whitney’s Country Cafe (Amy's Country Cafe)

We stopped by for a little lunch on our way through town and our service was probably the best we've had in a really long time! Our server was so kind and helpful with our kiddo and our food was Very delicious! We definitely recommend going there and we look forward to going back again.

Good service; yummy food. Best poutine I've ever had! Though it's only the second time I've had poutine. But it was tasty, as were my husband's cinnamon French toasts, eggs, and little pig sausages. And the peanut butter oreo pie.

Quick getaway from the cities and decided we wanted to eat. Saw the reviews and some pics of the food - decided we had to try it ourselves (and it just so happens to be my name!) Amy's did not disappoint- great tasting food in healthy portions for a great price! I had the #1 with Chicken fried steak and cranberry wild rice toast. Amazing! I asked where I could buy the bread because it was so amazing. She actually had an extra load on hand in her freezer and she sold it to me! If you're in the area and you're hungry - you gotta try this place. Service was friendly, atmosphere was warm, and regulars seemed to be treated like family. Looking forward to the next time!

We had the hot meatloaf sandwich. Home cooking delicious. Nice clean friendly atmosphere. Waitress was efficient with a great sense of humor.

Breakfast food is what they're known for. I agree 100%. The blueberry pancakes were filled with fresh berries, the bacon was crispy and crunchy, and the hash browns tasted amazing. I would recommend giving Amy's Country Cafe a try if you're around in the area. Staff is friendly as well!

Pleasant find on our way back from Duluth to Minneapolis airport. Excellent small town diner breakfast offerings. Fast service, but we came early, around 8 AM. Good value and great comfort food. About $8 for a 4 egg veggie omelet and $4 for a hearty side of correctly cooked bacon. OK coffee with frequent refills. Hash browns are an add-on, which is great for us low carb eaters..

We sat ourselves, per the sign, and the waitress missed us at first. When another group came in, she then noticed us and she made sure she got our order first and was apologetic. The food was delicious. Bacon seriously thick and cooked perfectly.

My wife & I stopped in for breakfast. It was great! Very good food & service, fair prices, very nice atmosphere. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed. We will be back!

This little piece of Americana was a great stop for my family. They were kid friendly, welcoming, and kept our drinks full. The only problem I had was we didn't have time for pie!

Absolutely EXCELLENT! I had an Everything Omelet & my wife had an INCREDIBLE club sandwich. Both were tasty and ample! Thank you so much! So glad we stopped there!

It's a great place to come and relax, order food. Their prices are reasonable. There's staff is friendly and nice. I would recommend this restaurant for everyone!

Amy's has been one of the got to spots in Sandstone ever since I started coming here in 2005. Servers remember you, coffee is always full and consistent food at reasonable prices!

Very awesome service. Delicious food. A little loud when busy, but not obnoxious or overwhelming. Such a great place to grab a bite to eat!

I had biscuits and gravy with hash browns and 3 others with me had; omelettes all special orders they were all done in a timely fashion and all done as ordered they all said it was excellent and I agree

I had two pieces of cinnamon French Toast and a side of Ham.. perfectly cooked and delicious.

Food is great. However it's always 15 below with air conditioning on.
