just a thank you to the nurse that pushed me in wheelchair for what se emed like a half mile from dr kunz's office to MRI, MRI techs that had to get a very large patient in much pain in and out of MRI and out to ER exit and into car. above and beyond by all!

I’m amazed about the care and attention given to my husband when I bring him to ER with a heart attack, they take care of him immediately and move him to CCU where everyone was great. Thank you and God bless you all.

The ER nurses are amazing, they work hard and care for their patients even when some need to be restrained. They try their best and thats just for the ER. I could go on about how I love this hospital and how it’s helped me.

The doctors thought I had an ovarian cysts or a burst appendix, I had to get blood work done and a scan done. The lady’s who did my blood work and scan helped keep me calm the whole time I was there and kept my mind off of it.

I’m legitimately confused by all the bad reviews. I moved here 2 years ago from the Northwest suburbs. I’ve been seen in the ER and also by Dr. Bowman in Obgyn. They are very thorough and professional. Dr Bowman goes above and beyond in her manner of care. The hospital staff is as equally devoted as the ones in more affluent neighborhoods. I’ve very been pleased with every experience I’ve had.

Have had several visits to the ER at CGH. Have always been treated with great care.And yes sometimes it takes awhile. But after all it is an ER and there may be others ahead of you for heart attacks, car accidents, or other life and death situations. I took my boyfriend to to the ER on Sunday because his O2 level was very low. The ER doctor or I should say NP sent him home with an O2 level of 91. Said they wouldn't keep him because he has oxygen at home. Well if the oxygen at home was doing the trick he wouldn't have had to go to ER. So he came home and we turned the Oxygen machine up as far as it would go. It helped nothing. He calmed down for a bit and the next evening his O2 went down to 88. I called an ambulance because he couldn't walk to van. By the time I got to hospital they said they were keeping him.All I could think was they should have kept him yesterday. He ended up with a bi pap machine and if you have ever seen someone with one it's freaky. The next day he was able to come off bi pap for awhile. On that Sunday it was a NP named Dezi Burke. We are also talking to the patient advocate. What the NP did on Sunday was wrong. We are not looking for a lawsuit but she needs to be aware of how badly she does her job. And I want to make sure she never touches him again. A big thank you to Dr Benzi and Dr Gonan who treated him when he went back. He is finally on the road to recovery. I will always have faith in the ER department at CGH. But one person should not make the rest look bad. The 5 stars are for the treatment he received on his day after the first visit. Dezi Burke would get no stars from me.

Stephanie Ernst is a great provider in the ENT department. Her nurse was very pleasant& helpful. Stephanie is caring, compassionate & explained the procedure & answered any questions that I had. She has a great bed side manner & is a true professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I have literally never had a bad experience with CGH. Every time I've been here (ER in the past, and currently for the OBGYN/midwife) I've been treated well, with respect, and they definitely listen to your concerns.

The ER department is not the fastest in the world, admittedly, BUT they do make sure to try and get to the bottom of what your problem is and thoroughly test you. They don't just send you out the door like some other hospitals do. They also do not dismiss you if your issue is complex, and make sure to get the diagnosis right the first time.

The OBGYN department and midwife I see (Laurie Buckman) are great. She always listens to my concerns, is very honest and understanding. She even went out of her way to personally find a doula for me as well as a birthing class I can do where I feel comfortable. The office staff is always very nice. Appointments are quick, and you aren't ever left waiting for too long like some other offices.

The lab department (where they do blood draws and stuff) is also great. I had to do a blood draw and fainted and they literally rushed to make sure I was okay and a doctor came to look at me within minutes to be sure I was alright. While being poked is never fun, I do have to say that no other hospital has ever made me feel so well cared for and I'll keep choosing CGH for my family's care.

Went here about a year ago for an Arachnoid Cyst, I was properly diagnosed unlike at another hospital in my area. Since then they referred me to be monitored in Chicago and I'm greatful to understand why I have the problems that I do. I'd HEAVILY recommend going here, thanks again.

The behavior health unit help me so much. All the staff and doctors was great and listen to me. Never did they put me down or criticized me.

The Birthing Center at Cgh is absolutely Amazing! They made my Birth experience everything I ever wanted! My goal and birth Plan was strict and to a T but was never even needed to be expressed the nurses did everything without even being asked such as putting me in the hydrotherapy tub, using a birthing ball and using multiple positions! I had the perfect labor and was waited on hand and foot!
Nurses are very attentive and respectful of all my concerns I had with a drug free labor. My Ob Laurie Buckman went out of her way my whole pregnancy to make me feel more than comfortable and at ease for Labor! She came in Hours before her shift to provide me with care and deliver my bundle of joy! I cannot thank her enough!
10/10 recommend Cgh for all your pregnancy and delivery Care!

I couldn’t have gotten any better care I was so happy with the way everything went there.. I had absolutely no complaints whatsoever and if I have to go back to the hospital that would be my first choice.. I really appreciate everything and everyone did for me up there and I’m glad that’s where I ended up

Dr. Alikahn at the CGH Medical Center is one of the Most compassionate, caring, knowledgeable Oncologist I've encountered in my 20 yrs of fighting Breast Cancer & caring for my oarenys as they were going through Lung/Breast Cancer.

I went into hospital on August 19th released 12 days later.everyone Dr canady to the ICU unit to the 2nd floor recovery were absolutely 💯 amazing thank you all.

This was my first visit with Dr Hahn and I found him very personable and knowledgeable. He was.patient and a good listener. I understood everything he explained to me.

First visit to Ready Care. Very impressed. High quality people working there. Called and was in and out quickly the next day. They were very kind.

Was able to get an appointment in a few days compared to weeks for other medical centers.

My son had to have a boil lanced and he's special needs on top of it the dr jennie Robertson and nurse maryann were the best understood the needs of my son and helped out in any they could!!!!!! This has been the beat experience we've had at sterling cgh er!!!!!.
