I have worked as a fitness instructor and personal trainer for many years. SportsMed has treated me and my family for multiple injuries and complications due to genetics. Dr Moore and a few others have performed multiple surgeries on me and I highly recommend all of them. Their knowledge, skill and professionalism matches their care for their patients. The supporting staff is also amazing. I have never left unsatisfied or disappointed. I am particularly pleased at how they treat and work with the young athletes in our community.

SportsMed always provides the best care for their patients. They do not over schedule and are able to get you in sooner rather than later. All the Dr’s are great with their patients. I am currently seeing Dr Moore and he is the best!!

My first SportsMed orthopedist retired so I changed to Dr. Moore on the recommendation of several friends and family members. Couldn’t be more pleased! He is kind and friendly and I was impressed that he recommended trying a non-surgical approach instead of jumping straight to the OR.

Dr. Moore & his staff are all very nice, compassionate & understanding. I have been extremely pleased with the experience of going to them. They do try to figure out the best way to go, as far as medicine or procedure for your individual situation. Take the time to listen & answer your questions.
Oh, they also will schedule your appointments on where you would rather go. At first I was going to the Madison location (for my job, that was harder to get there & back in a "lunchtime hour"), so I was able to schedule at the Athens office the next appointment & they told me then "if you want to stay in Athens, we can do that", I said "please, I can make it here/back in a lunch hour"!!
My last appointment, was for 1st of 3 gel shots for my knee, Rachel (hope I spelled correctly), could tell I was a little apprehensive about the gel shot (just because it was "new" shot for me) but she did an incredible job.
Honestly, can't say enough great things!!

I saw for the 1st time Dr. Moore before my left shoulder surgery on 4/12/2024 no surprise we shared a prayer for everyone involved pre and post. I had already placed my belief and trust in Dr. Moore due to numerous previous patients being placed in my path making him a known choice . I will always choose sports Med due to their competent staff . Please never stop informing your patients as to what to expect..at times it cuts down on a lot of anxiety. Thank you .

Dr. Moore did exceptional ortho-surgical work repairing my shoulder. He and his office staff are pleasant and thorough in client care.

Everyone is always very nice. Dr Moore explains things well and makes you feel comfortable. Amy is the sweetest . She always takes care of anything I meed.

Great Experience at SportsMed in Athens. Dr. Jack Moore is Very Caring, Compassionate, Professional, and Kind. He really seems interested in Your Physical Situation. He is an Excellent Orthopedic Doctor. The Entire Staff, from the Check-in Desk to the Check-Out Desk, is filled with Individuals that are Professional, Kind, Courteous, and Very Friendly.
