Revolution Flight

I received a discovery flight with Revolution Flight as a gift. I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The instructor was very polite. While the instructor was conducting a preflight inspection of the plane he took time to explain to me what he was doing, why, and what he was looking for along the way. While holding short of the runway the instructor allowed me to talk to the tower to request takeoff clearance which I thought was cool. I definitely felt in control of the plane 99% of the time. The instructor took the controls to allow me to take pictures and then offered to take pictures for me while I flew. The instructor was confident enough with my performance to allow me to attempt to land although he did help me land safely. That being said I have plenty of experience in simulators so the experience may vary for people who have no basic knowledge of aircraft. I'm confident that the instructors will walk you through it and explain everything to you along the way. They're also there to intervene for safety or take over if you feel uncomfortable. We took off on a heading north of the airport from runway 36R then followed beside 565 to the parkway flying over the space and rocket center along the way. We then circled down south of the airport over the river to come back in for landing on runway 36R. I would recommend this awesome gift for anyone that is interested in aviation, I had a great experience with everyone involved. I can't compare it to discovery flights elsewhere as this is the first time I have ever flown.

Best flight school in the area! It’s so cool to learn to fly alongside airliners and military planes at a busy Class C airport. They’ve helped me overcome my fear of talking on the radios. RF is full of very competent, helpful pilots that have your success in mind. It’s a very well oiled machine. Tried and true!

Revolution is an amazing flight school. If anyone is considering which flight school you want to attend, Revolution is the best one in the area.
Becoming a pilot is my dream, but I had a lot of things that made me consider not becoming one. English is my second language, so I always worry that when I speak, people will not understand me. I had a lot of other reasons, too.
But in trying to overcome my fears and I signed up for their school anyway. My instructors, Sammie and Brandon, are so patient, professional, and helpful. I can’t say how much I want to thank them. Working with people like these is making my dreams become a reality!
Right now I’m working on my private license with my end goal being to obtain a commercial license, and Revolution is the best way to help me do that!

Had an amazing time during our discovery flight at Revolution Flight. Mrs Sherry inside was great, incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our instructor, Eric was awesome and a great CFI and pilot! Can't wait to come back.

I was so excited to be able to have my son take me on a flight last week. I can see why he loves it so much. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived at the airport. From what I understand, they are always that way. Also, the plane was clean and well maintained. You can see from the tower in the background that this is a great place to not only get your flying certificates, but also the experience of talking to the tower since it is an international airport. What a great place to learn!

Had a great time! Bought my father a Discovery Flight as a gift, walked in and within minutes the Instructor Pilot, Nikul, had us out ready to go. Beautiful flight plan takes you over the river, past downtown, the Space and Rocket Center and more. Nikul was patient, funny and an excellent IP.

Last May, I entered a drawing on Revolution Flight’s Instagram page, and won a free discovery flight. By February, I completed my private pilot check ride. It was an absolute incredible experience. Revolution Flight has the most amazing and passionate staff. Yousef is a fantastic and talented instructor. Plus, everyone on their staff were super hands on and helpful in my training. KHSV is a larger, but not too busy airport so you get good taxiing training, plus learning to fly at a towered airport gives you valuable experience in radio communications. If you have any interest at all in aviation, call and schedule a discovery flight. Even if becoming a pilot isn’t something you want to commit to, you will have an unforgettable experience. And if you do want to pursue it further, there is NO better place to learn to fly.

I recently used Revolution Flight to sell my Cherokee 180 and was very pleased. The team did all the work, quickly selling the plane and taking care of all of the paperwork. Price for the service was awesome and they even took a picture of the plane on its way to the new owner!

My personal experience at Revolution Flight was like no other experience I’ve had in my aviation journey. Everyone is polite yet genuinely desire success. I had the honor and privilege to receive my Private Pilot Certificate yesterday after passing the FAA Checkride and a whole summer of flight training with Jaquez Torian my CFI, who is more like a brother than anything. He made sure that I could succeed like he once did, and I could be the best pilot I could be in the Cessna. I couldn’t have gotten this far without him, Fernando, Amanda, Drew, Kalen, and the other instructors and staff working hard at Revolution Flight. It’ll be an experience that will never be forgotten. At first, getting my certificate was just a dream, and Jaquez with the help of others, made that dream come true before my eyes. I don’t regret choosing Revolution Flight as my resource to be especially successful as a pilot.

Visited Revolution Flight today and was welcomed by some amazing staff members. Mrs Sherry at the front desk has a very warm and welcoming personality and was able to steer me in right career path. Nikul, the Chief Flight Instructor was very knowledgeable and was able to get all my FAA documents in order while sharing his amazing career path with me. My Flight Instructor, Javier, was beyond impressive while on ground and in air. We did some steep turns, banking close to 60 degrees, adjusting trim as needed, performing a practice stall, guided me into the Huntsville runway and was able to teach me about the various pilot instruments and how to use them. I look forward to working with them again and completing my training with Revolution Flight.

Revolution Flight School is truly the best around!

The instructors and staff are all very knowledgeable and made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone gets an instructor assigned to them for their journey. My instructor, Nikul, is professional and personable and has constantly helped build my confidence and skills as a student aviator. His knowledge and safety centric focus is making me the safest pilot for when I am a private pilot and I get to take my friends and family flying. He has been with me every step of the process of becoming a pilot and is always willing to spend the time to answer my questions.

The school has multiple aircraft to learn on so there is never an issue of plane availability. The planes have up to date electronics like GPS making them very friendly to the new pilot. They are serviced regularly and the school staff have a great working relationship with the aircraft mechanics.

I was nervous about using radios at a busy airport like Huntsville but quickly learned how to talk the talk. And like everyone else, the controllers at Huntsville are super helpful and understand that you are a student. They want to help you and it shows.

Revolution is the only school that I know of that has built trusting relationships between the staff, the mechanics, and the controllers. You will be glad you spent your time learning with the fine folks at Revolution.

The sky is the limit at Revolution Flight. All of the instructors, and staff are well-rounded and professional. The flight school is great place to branch out on the horizon and to truly experience what aviation is truly about!

I’ve been training with Revolution for a few months now, and I’ve got to say they’re some of the best in the business. Last weekend, I was able to fly solo for the first time at Pryor Field in Decatur, and I’ll say that is one of the best experiences I’ve had! I can’t wait to continue my training with Revolution Flight, and in addition to that, I’d like to give a big shoutout to John Pasquariello. He has been an exceptional flight instructor, and I can confidently say I feel very prepared for the training to come because of his instruction. Keep it up Revolution!

Excellent flight school and awesome place to rent general aviation aircraft for short day trips! Very professional and friendly staff! Clean establishment! Well maintained and clean aircraft!

I started taking flight lessons here last month and I'm having a great time. I was so nervous at first, but Austin really put me at ease. There's so much to think about at one time that it can be overwhelming, but he's been very patient and surprisingly calm! If you've ever thought about getting your license or just taking a few lessons I would definitely recommend Revolution :)

Update: I completed my private pilot training here back in 2019 and I'm now working on my IFR with Craig! Great operation!

Revolution Flight is fantastic! I contacted them to start my private pilot flight training and was scheduled for an orientation quickly. Orientation was under an hour to get enrolled and go over the training plan. Instructors are great to work with and have enjoyed my training experience so far. Definitely recommend this school if you are interested in becoming a pilot! Contact them and schedule a discovery flight!
