Amazing! Our first time here and the food was incredible. We got the plantain chicken sandwich with plantain chips, stewed pork with white rice, black beans and potato salad. The best international food we've had in the Huntsville area! Give it a try; you will not be disappointed! Great job Punta Cana Caribbean Restaurant!

My wife and I tried this place for the first time today. Wow!! This is delicious Dominican food. You must try the Plantain Chicken Sandwich, unbelievably good! The owners are super nice!!! Service is exceptional as well. 100% be a regular here.

Please Huntsville/Madison, let's patronize this place. We are so lacking in cultural foods in this area. We've already lost Cuban Cafe, we can't afford to lose another.

My family and I came here last weekend to try the food. I heard great things about this place!! We had empanadas. We had the cheese, chicken, and beef. Our favorite was the beef. The sauce they give for it was delicious! We ordered more things but cant quite remember what it was. I just know it has pork and rice with gandules. So yummy! Definitely coming back. My friend recommended the patacon. Can’t wait to come back!!

This little hidden gem is worth a try. Their plates are rather large and the food taste like traditional grandma’s carribean cooking. The meats were tender and the empanadas were my favorite.

I LOVE this place. I was a stranger to caribbean food but I'm always open to try new things. If you say to yourself "I don't know. I might not like it. " , Put that thought into the back of your head and try to sample platter. It's a taste of everything and does not disappoint.

I've been a few times and everything I've had is so good. You can't go wrong with the sample platter. I'd recommend just going for it if you don't really know what you are getting yourself into and have your mind blown.

Also, grab an empanada too (I've had both the chicken and the beef.) You won't regret it.

Such a cool place to eat! The Mashed Plantain Chicken Sandwich is delicious!! And you can either get it to go or eat inside their bus diner! It was really cold outside, but stepping inside the bus hit me with a sudden warmth it was lovely!

We tried the platter, and everything was absolutely delicious! The empanadas were amazing too. Additionally, the people were really nice and the service was great. All in all, a memorable experience. We will definitely be going back often

This place is amazing. It is sorta hidden in the wide open off County Line Road. Stop in here if you get a chance. The meals are authentic and delicious. This is the only place I know of that has a picture of EVERY plate they have so you can see what you’re getting. I am very excited to find a place that has fried plantains or just plantains in general. Will definitely be visiting often.

Good taste just like in the island. Great prices. Small place, but enjoy sitting under an umbrella canopy outdoors. I will be going back for more.

A taste from home. We got the Sampler Platter and everything was simply DELICIOUS. My son said it tasted like Grandma's food and went on to eat everything on his plate. A good surprise and addition for our area.

The food was SO GOOD. I am so glad I stopped while passing through Bama. Reminded me of the food I enjoyed while in Puerto Rico. Recommend to try this place! If I was a local I would be here all the time!

First time eating here. Been wanting to stop by for awhile and try it out. I love trying different ethnic foods.
My wife and I enjoyed what we ordered. #2 & #4. Plus 2 orange Fantas. Straight up Caribbean food. Loved it. We sat outside with the sun shining, light breeze blowing, trees swaying, Dominican music playing and 2 plates full of food.
For a moment, it reminded me of our times in Miami and the Keys. The nice lady that prepared our food was very sweet and smiled a lot. Such a pleasant experience.
I recommend this place if you want to try something different and with taste.

The most amazing plantain burger everrrrrrrrr. It is so far the most delicious plate I have tried in Alabama so far. Sure we are coming back. Highly recommended. You won’t believe the prices.

This is a food truck with outdoor seating, in addition to a really cool and temperature controlled indoor seating on a bus!!! Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful hosts. Very nice people. Check this place out Athens/Madison! Muy rico!

This place is amazing! I wouldn't change a thing about the quality/quantity of food, given the fairly modest price. I've had cheap Caribbean food and high-end Caribbean food, and this is the perfect in-between. And it's conveniently located, with nothing else like it nearby. Most of the food seems cooked to order, because they give different wait times depending on your order. I've only tried this place twice now, but I plan on becoming a regular and trying everything on the menu, as I'm sure it's all great.
