Had the lunch special and it was delicious. Cute store and good service. I saw the rest of the menu and I'm excited to go back to try more!

Food and drinks are amazing, great breakfast and lunch. Always top notch. Service is awesome, definitely my new go to.

A friend of mine was recently misled by this business regarding a Valentine's day charcuterie board. She was told that they could not buy supplies due to the road conditions (understandable) but then they told her husband they had already bought the supplies so he was not able to get a refund (only a credit). Misleading customers is shady practice and not a good way to gain loyalty. What kind of restaurant issues credits anyway? Don't recommend ordering anything in advance from this place...

I ordered one of their cheese/meat boards for my wife for Valentine’s Day. Preordered it a month in advance. They sent a message with the pickup date/time and then closed that day “due to weather” which that day was very light ice. My wife drove up there to pickup the order in the time frame they stated but they were closed. They never notified us that the order was canceled. Now they’re only willing to give us a credit, but they’re never open!! Do not purchase from this business, very very poor business practices.

I debated over whether or not to leave a review. I love new and local restaurants and will give them the benefit of the doubt if something comes up but I just can’t in this case.

My husband pre-ordered a Valentine’s charcuterie board over a month in advance and paid that same day. We were told to pick it up on the 12th. I drove from Taylor to Granger and the restaurant was closed during business hours. I called and was told that due to the road conditions, they were closed and would remain closed. The woman even mentioned to me that the weather prevented them from buying the supplies to make it (this becomes important). I was bummed but no one controls the weather so we moved on. But then, my husband contacted them for a refund
1. It took them over a week to respond back after a fb message was sent and a voicemail was left
2. They never contacted anyone who placed a special order to let them know NOT to drive out
3. They are refusing to refund the amount and are only offering a credit
4. They specifically told my husband in their response that they will not refund anything because they are out the money they spent on the supplies (so one of us is being lied to)
5. They have now blocked us on Facebook so we cannot leave a review there or contact them further. Their fb messages back and forth were civil

As a small business owner myself I cannot imagine treating a costumer like this. They seem to have very poor business practices and unless you are handing them your money as you receive your food, I suggest not buying from Social House 95.

Bad business practice. Long story short, don’t lie to your customer base. Don’t tell them you cannot refund them because you already bought the supplies for an order and then follow up by saying you couldn’t make their order because you never were able to get the supplies due to the weather. And this was BEFORE the weather was even bad. It would be smart to also notify your customers of an order cancellation or delay before they take their time to drive to your establishment to pick up their order. Responsiveness is key to your business! Your customers deserve better.

Didn’t follow through with a pre-order or even contact to arrange another day. Will ONLY issue a “credit” vs refunding because they said they were out the money for supplies but also said that they were unable to make the item because they hadn’t been able to buy supplies...HORRIBLE customer service and blocked from responding on any form of social media. Not worth it.

Crazy inconsistent hours have gone twice when they were supposed to be open and it's always closed, live in Holland so it's a waste of gas.
