The Copper Pot Restaurant

Found the restaurant by accident and it was a good accident. It's a local southern family style delightful stop on a quick trip from WV to NC and to home. The choices were so many. I chose the grilled chicken plate with baked potato and mac and cheese. It was ready in just a few minutes and it was delicious. Big portions too. I really liked the American Flag on the wall behind the counter as well as the nice sayings on display throughout the dining room. I'm looking forward to breakfast on our next trip.

We were passing through and decided to stop here for lunch. It was pretty delicious and the service was also very kind. I got the meatloaf with some sides and my mom got their beef and veggie soup of the day. Both were terrific and we only paid roughly 13$ for both.

My only comment would be that the water tasted a little off, but that just means next time I’ll get a tea instead. ☺

Traveling through the area and found this hidden little gem. Came recommend by some folks for their local delights and it delivered. Intended to try the dinner time experience but ended up with a breakfast treat which was superb as well. They have a house speciality breakfast that i recommend. It hits the spot. Great attentive servers and a quick food out order makes this a breeze. Quirky decor throughout and nice folks dining around make this a sure pleasant experience. 💯

Ended up getting the sausage egg omelette with a side of biscuit and gravy. This was quick and easy off the interstate and definitely hit the spot. The waitresses are extremely friendly too!

Well worth the walk up the hill from the truck stop! Great variety on the menu. Almost too much to choose from so I went with the special. Excellent homemade meatloaf, creamy baked mac n cheese, and crispy fried squash. Even the ranch dressing seems to have been made in-house. Very homey atmosphere and great service.

The veggie omlett was delicious, and I enjoyed the warm apples and biscut.
The waitress and the person who served my breakfest was very friendly.
Great atmosphere. I would definitely go back. The view is probably beautiful when it's not so cloudy.

I walked over from the truck stop to get a good meal. The chicken 🐔 Livers were the best, usually get fried Livers but they still delicious grilled. The waitress was very patient and not to rush you. I was glad to use restroom and come back to finish my meal. Other restaurants in Northern Virginia, wouldn't be too patient whereas rent is high, as greed.I gave her a tip. I know my Kentucky roots nearby.

Everything about this place is great. The food is excellent! Service is great. People friendly. Very clean.

Diner style menu Good home cooking. Breakfast served all day. Prices are very reasonable also. Definitely stop by again.

Went with the daily special and was not disappointed. Good down home southern food. Come with an appetite.

I hadn't been to the copper pot in probably over 10 years but stopped in with my coworkers for lunch the other day. Our server was fantastic, though I didn't catch his name. And our food was out of this world. I got the southwestern chicken and it was some of the juiciest grilled chicken that I've ever had. We will definitely be back, especially since the prices are so great.

Wow. Salt and Pepper Catfish is really good. Huge pieces! (The fish on the plate was just one piece) Sweet potato casserole! Hush puppies were tasty. Creamy mac n cheese! I'll be back👍

All this for $15? That's a deal!

Food is on point!!!! Salt and pepper catfish greens and beans wit a side of cornbread if your an OTR driver in this area it’s a go fellas!!!

Very good home cooking in a relaxing atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location right off the interstate. We ate there on our way down to North Carolina and on our way back home to Ohio.

Great upbeat staff. My burger was delicious, like a mashed burger! Crinkle fries were delicious! Great location... quick off and on the highway

Fantastic place! I went in like 10 mins before closing and they gladly served me! I drive a semi for a living and the place across the street was closed so I rushed over here to awesome service!

It's a small town, family owned, country- cooking kind of restaurant. Very friendly people. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and I like all of the food I've tried so far. I recommend the meatloaf and the country fried steak.

Stopped here while passing through on a road trip. Fantastic food, great service, good prices. Our server Aaron was wonderful. Definitely will stop by here next time I’m passing through
