Sunshine Academy of Flagler

Both of my toddler sons attend this school and I am so grateful for the staff there. It's amazing how much they've developed and learned from attending. I can't say enough kind words about the Toddler 1 and Toddler 2 teachers. My sons absolutely adore them and we as the parents do as well! They are unbelievably kind, compassionate, communicative, and overall, just a pleasure. Such a wonderful first experience in education for my kids. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Sunshine Academy has been such a great place for my kids. The staff have consistently been the most gracious people. There communication with parents is top notch. They keep things fun and exciting for the kids. Even through some challenges with my son who really struggled for a while to be dropped off, there was someone there that wanted to help make my son feel as comfortable as possible. You can tell the teachers and admin really love the kids and want the best for them. It was a pleasure having my son do his first year of school there and our daughter will continue going until she graduates VPK.

This is the best daycare! We had to move and when we left Sunshine Academy I wanted to cry. My son is almost two and we saw him grow in leaps and bounds while attending. The teachers are so sweet and caring. They treat these kids with so much love and patience. You can see it pays off by how well-behaved all the toddlers are ;)

My son attended there since we moved in 2018 and he loved every second.
The staff is well trained, amiable and genuinely seem happy to be there.
The building is beautiful and is set up as a regular school is, which I'm sure will help thr children adjust to kindergarten and their new schools.
The director is a hands on, educated and pleasant man. It's not often you see the guy who runs the place also acting as bus driver and I think that is fantastic.
Overall, I would very highly recommend this school to anyone with small children.
If I could give it six stars I would!

I not only work for Sunshine but my daughter has been attending since I've worked here. This is by far the best work environment I've ever been in. Management is very professional but also very playful and friendly. I feel like this is my second home!

My daughter LOVES this school! I find her learning so many amazing things that I never even thought about teaching her. This school has helped her find confidence and Independence and her teachers have been so loving and helpful. I highly recommend this school not only for your children but it's such an amazing place to work as well!

My grandson started SunShine Academy last August. I’m so grateful I selected this school. From his teacher (Toddler 2) to the support staff, they are all very caring, nurturing, attentive, and knowledgeable in early learning! I highly recommend this school!

Our daughter came here for her first experience in a school setting. They have set the bar high for schools to come. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, at the front is so kind and helpful. They keep great contact with parents. They let you know and work with your child as they experience difficulties. Mrs. Alice is amazing and our daughter absolutely loved her. You could tell she takes the time to have a special bond with each of the children. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking!

My daughter just graduated VPK from Sunshine Academy of Flagler. This place feels like a second home to us. The staff is professional, very friendly and shows an outstanding level of care for her well being and early education. I would recommend this school to any parent who's looking for a safe, fun and clean environment for their kids to develop and blossom.

Sunshine Academy of Flagler is a wonderful school. The teachers and all staff are wonderful. Ms. Donna was our savior as she helped with potty training. They have a great educational program they follow to get the kids ready for kindergarten. My granddaughter has attended there since she was 2 years old and we will still attend when days off of school.

Sunshine Academy has been a wonderful asset to our family. Our grandchildren have excelled with the help of the administration staff and teachers. My grandchildren are so excited to go to Sunshine Academy every day to see Ms Heaven and Ms. Sue and that puts a smile in our heart and on our face.

Second time around with them, great school, safe to take your kids to, totally recommend them, from infants to VPK. My daughters were in good hands!! Known them since 2011 and today my second daughter just graduated from VPK Thanks Mr. Dmitry!!

Sunshine Academy was great for my child this past year. The photos that I’ll get at the end of the day in the app were incredibly helpful. Miss Chloe at the front desk was always very helpful for me as a parent helping me get answers to any questions she couldn’t answer incredibly fast.

My daughter absolutely loved going here for her PreK shes in 2nd grade now and still talks about the wonderful time she had there. For a first time school experience for a child Sunshine is it. The have a wonderful caring staff of people that want to see your child succeed, and do their best to make it happen.

My Granddaughter has gone to this place since she was a baby. Through all of the years the ups and downs including the pandemic they have always been great. My granddaughter has some OCD issues and doesn't do change well. Through teacher changes due to staffing through a world pandemic she has always been able to adapt due to their caring and understanding.

Sunshine Academy of Flagler is the literal example of this amazing statement. I am a VPK teacher and have been with the center for over three years. The children that come to us are not just bodies in a classroom. They are individuals with unique minds, interests, and personalities. We provide an experience for each child to learn and challenge themselves. We celebrate every success and encourage every step a child takes towards a new goal. More importantly, we are always there to support and guide your children through learning ups and downs!

I love going to work every day. I love challenging my class to achieve new levels of learning. I enjoy learning about their personalities and interests! I also love walking into a building of smiling faces. My peers and I understand the importance of early learning experiences. We aim to provide good learning experiences and fond memories for each child. It shows in our smiles and the work we do within our classrooms. At the end of the day we're all tired, sweaty - maybe a little bit stressed - but excited to see what the next day brings in our classrooms!

Sunshine Academy of Flagler believes in their children, no matter how small!

I've been sending my older kid here since he was two years old. It's an excellent place for kids. They have nice and clean facilities, enthusiastic and friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with them over the past six years.

A great experience for the year and a half of my son going here all the way through VPK! He has progressed 10fold and is excited to go everyday and comes home happy! Couldn’t ask for a better staff!

My son went there for Pre-K in 2012. (Miss Daniella is amazing btw) He was in the wrap around program, so he was there all day. Great before and after school care too. I have had zero complaints during our time there! Attending parades was fun and the holiday shows are adorable :-) Staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend (and do!) to anyone.

The staff are always helpful and happy! Shout out to Ms. Donna! She is awesome! My kid’s flourished since enrolling here!
